Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:

Christchurch GRC - 5 July 2019 -

1). Trainer R Blackburn advised Stewards that her greyhound 'SPECIAL AFFAIR ' had sustained a sprain hock during the running of Race 7 and as a consequence is having an enforced spell.~~

Otago GRC - 9 July 2019 -

1). Trainer M Roberts (CAWBOURNE TAYLOR) advised Stewards that he now accepts the penalty prescribed in the Sixth Schedule for a breach of GRNZ Rule 87.3 in that he failed to obtain permission from the Association to have the greyhound domiciled at a kennel other than his own for a period exceeding 14 days. As a consequence to this Mr Roberts was fined $100.00 and the Information withdrawn from the JCA.~~

JUDICIAL REPORT:

1). DYNA VARSITY (A ROBERTS) - Mr Roberts was, as the Nominator of the Greyhound, fined the sum of $100.00 under Rule 19.7. for nominating it for a Race which it was not eligible to be nominated for necessitating its scratching from tonight programme.~~

2). ZEFSIDE (J Mclnerney) - was a late scratching from Race Nine on Veterinarian advice.~~

3). COUNTRY GENT (A Bradshaw) - Miss Bradshaw applied to have the endorsement under GRNZ Rule 55 cancelled after the Greyhound had completed in 10 clear races without reoffending.

NEELIX (3) - placed in tight room approaching turn pushed outwards.Contacted from behind home turn. FLEUR DIOR (5) - bumped outwards into turn.Ran across heels home turn. IT'S THAT FRESH (6) - hampered between runners home turn. DAHTESTE (8) - wide home turn and into straight.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse & Hound Sprint - C3 - 295	KALONGA (3) - lay inwards home turn made contact with inside runner. FERAL KAIAKA (5) - ran wide home straight. RING CLOWN (6) - bumped on jumping. KNOW HASSLE (7) - hampered on jumping losing ground.Buffered outside runner home turn. GOLDSTAR AVALON (8) - shifted inwards on jumping contacting inside runner.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C3 - 295	SHAW WINNER (4) - bumped heavily on jumping from outside runners. Ran off heels home turn shifted outwards becoming unbalanced running out bumping dog to the outside. JUSTIN RYAN (6) - ran up on heels for a stride home turn become unbalanced. Bumped from inside runner home straight becoming unbalanced for a stride. BILLY FROST (7) - galloped on from behind for a stride home turn then being bumped from outside runner. COLBERT (8) - contacted inside dog on jumping. Shifted inwards home turn bumping inside dog. KNOW SCRUTINY (10/5) - hampered between runners on jumping.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4/5 - 295	WILDEBEEST (1) - shifted off rail into turn after being contacted by other runner for a stride. SMASH WILD (3) - shifted outwards on leaving the boxes. FLORA DORA (4) - bumped home straight. BUSINESS ETHICS (5) - placed in restricted room becoming tight into turn. Was refereed to the vet and found to have low grade muscle soreness in the right shoulder. MOHICAN RUN (6) - bumped on jumping. Moved inwards into turn contacting inside dog. lay inwards short of the line contacting inside dog. JINJA ELLIE (7) - hampered between runners on jumping. Ran wide home straight. KNOW SWEAT (8) - shifted inwards on jumping contacting inside runner.
Race 6	Happy Birthday Scott Wallis Dash - C3 - 295	HOMEBUSH BODEN (2) - heavily checked around turn between runners after running up on heels lost ground. Placed in restricted room home turn. GOLDSTAR JAY JAY (4) - galloped on from behind into turn. OPAWA LACY (5) - contacted heavily on jumping by outside dogs. Lay inwards home turn contacting inside dogs then off heels home turn. SIERRA DELTA (6) - squeezed between runners on jumping. Placed in restricted room into turn lost touch of the field for a few strides. Forced wide from inside runner home turn after being bumped. CALL ME JOE (7) - shifted inwards crowding inside runners after contact being made. KING KALI (8) - jumped awkwardly on leaving the boxes lost ground.
Race 7	Springston Hotel Sprint Final - C4f - 295	LISA'S BOY (1) - shifted outwards home turn. HOMEBUSH TESAN (2) - moved outwards into turn contacting outside dog. Wide in the home run. SMASH ATTACK (3) - hampered into turn then becoming unbalanced. HIGH DREAMER (4) - bumped on jumping. PRINCELY GOLD (5) - shifted inwards on jumping bumping inside dog. BECK ELEVEN (6) - slow away. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (8) - contacted into turn. Pushed outwards home turn.
Race 8	My Bro Fabio Distance - C1d - 645	GEM (2) - placed in restricted first turn for a stride. VANDAGAMBO (3) - improved forwards home turn ran wide after that stayed there. OPAWA HOPE (5) - contacted heavily on leaving boxes. Wide first time round home straight. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (6) - hampered between runners on jumping. Placed in tight quarters home straight first time round. MEKA (10/7) - jumped inwards contacting inside runners leaving the boxes.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3/4 - 520	Zefside was a late scratching at kenneling JOE BONANZA (2) - shifted out when being placed between runners first time around in the straight. DOUBLE SPEED (4) - hampered between runners first turn DYNA MONTY (7) - wide back straight.
Race 10	NZ Nationals Middle Distance Qualifying Heat - C5 - 520	GoldStar Ashton GOLDSTAR ASHTON (3) - ran out first turn colliding with outside dog heavily. A post race veterinary examination reveled the dog was found to have a right side Graciis musle tear. GO BRAT (7) - contacted heavily first turn lost ground when becoming unbalanced. MAX DANCER (9/8) - bumped after jumping. Contacted heavily first turn losing ground. DAVID'S LEGACY (10/5) - shifted out after jumping making contact with outside runner. Wide in the home straight.
Race 11	Kaisa Earthworks Ph.0272073323 Dash - C4/5 - 295	COUNTRY GENT (1) - Buffered early. MAN OF LETTERS (3) - Placed in tight racing room into turn. CAWBOURNE BRITTY (4) - buffered between runners into turn. Wide in the home straight. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (5) - contacted into turn bumped outwards. MARTHA MAGIC (6) - shifted inwards back straight contacting inside dogs. Bumped outwards home turn after coming into contact with inside runner. KETCHIKAN KIM (8) - moved outwards by inside runner for a stride into turn. PITA RAMOS (9/2) - hampered badly early stages between runners. Bumped home turn by outside dog. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to have low grade soreness to its right wrist.
Race 12	RE-ENERGIZE Sprint - C4 - 295	TREVILLE (1) - pressured early stages by outside runners shifting inwards. NOZZNO FEAR (2) - hampered early stages from outside. Checked off heels into turn becoming unbalanced. SARCASM (3) - tightened between runners early stages losing ground. Wide home turn. MITCHAM READO (4) - hampered between runners after jumping. GOLDSTAR DODGE (7) - jumped in sharply contacting inside runners jostled after that. Contacted and pushed outwards into turn losing ground. NIPPA MARTINO (9/6) - pushed heavily inwards after jumping being checked.
