Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY:-

1). HOMEBUSH REED (J McInerney) - after being stood down at Southland on 18 June 2019, was represented to the Shirley Veterinary Clinic on 19 June 2019 and found to be free of injury with the stand down rescinded as per Rule 55.7.~~

2). Stewards have concluded their investigation into the non valid nomination of HAPPY DAYS which necessitated its scratching from the Southland GRC's meeting on the 18th June 2019. As a result of this, Trainer R Adcock was fined the sum of $100 for nominating his greyhound for a race for which it was not eligible.~~

Steward questioned co-trainer S Evans regarding the improved performance of his greyhound. Mr Evans explained that the Greyhound had had a brief spell and had benefited from an uninterrupted run tonight. JOE BONANZA (4) - boxed first. DIZZY BANJO (7) - came up with the lid and settled last.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Craig White Dash - C5 - 295	SUNLIT JOHNNY (2) - weakened concluding stages. Connections advised the greyhound would now be turned out for a spell. CAWBOURNE BRITTY (4) - awkwardly placed on heels prior to the bend before being checked and losing ground. SMASH DAMAGE (5) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend and lost ground. FOREHAND RAID (6) - dragged down and lost momentum entering the bend. TREVILLE (7) - boxed first. Slow to jump. Climbed on heels entering the bend losing ground.
Race 3	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C4 - 295	ASTRID (6) - jostled with outside runner exiting the bend. KING KALI (7) - slow to jump. INSIDE AFFAIR (8) - jostled with inside runner exiting the bend.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C4 - 295	SMASH ATTACK (1) - jostled with outside runner prior to the bend. PUNCH ON JESSIE (2) - boxed first. Jostled with outside runner prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room and having to check. FIERY JEN (3) - slow early. VERSAILLES (4) - slow early. Squeezed for racing room prior to the bend. GOLDSTAR LIBERTY (6) - boxed first. CASH A ROO (7) - slow early. NOZZNO FEAR (8) - jostled with inside runner prior to the bend.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295	FANTASTIC AMY (4) - squeezed for room early stages before having to check prior to the bend. NELSO ALLEN (5) - awkwardly placed entering the bend losing ground. ELODEA (7) - began awkwardly losing ground.
Race 6	Kaisa Earthworks Ph.0272073323 Dash - C5 - 295	TORPEDO TUCK (4) - slow early. Raced wide rounding the bend. RANDY RACCOON (5) - hampered early stages. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. HOMEBUSH BOOTS (9/7) - slow early. Forced up the track rounding the bend.
Race 7	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C3 - 520	DYNA MONTY (1) - checked outwards off heels bumping with outside runner rounding the first bend. Again checked off heels shortly afterwards. Squeezed for room exiting the final bend. GO GLOW (7) - bumped from the inside rounding the first bend.
Race 8	Barron's South Island Championship Heat 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	START THE SHOW (2) - began awkwardly. GO BRAT (3) - squeezed for racing room prior to the first turn losing momentum. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. Checked first turn and lost momentum. BAHAMA QUEEN (5) - checked from behind entering the first bend. NATURE'S GENT (6) - began awkwardly. Checked first turn and lost momentum. ZEFSIDE (8) - inconvenienced entering the first bend.
Race 9	Barron's South Island Championship Heat 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	SAILOR ALLEN (1) - placed in restricted room entering the final bend and lost momentum for several strides. EGOMANIACAL (4) - jostled with outside runner early stages. Checked from the outside prior to the bend. RINGSIDE (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages becoming awkwardly placed with inside runner and losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the final bend. GOLDSTAR ASHTON (6) - jostled with inside runner early stages.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Stayers Cup Heat 1 - C2dq - 732 Heat 1	GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (1) - slow to jump. DYNA WESLYN (3) - jostled in the run to the bend before being checked and losing ground. CLASSY WITCH (4) - awkwardly placed on heels first bend. Raced wide through the home straight on the first occasion. IT'S A TRICK (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages before being checked and losing ground prior to the bend.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Stayers Cup Heat 2 - C2dq - 732 Heat 2	OPAWA HOPE (1) - began awkwardly. KNOW POTENTIAL (2) - contacted from the outside first turn. BOYKA (3) - bumped with inside runner entering the first turn. ALOTTA TALK (7) - checked off heels on jumping losing momentum. CAWBOURNE TAYLOR (8) - held up for racing rom final bend.
