Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout.

Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: M Austin Chairman of stewards races 1-10 K Coppins Chairman of stewards races 11-20
Trainer L Doody has advised the Stewards that NIGHT HOWLER has been retired from racing and has been booked in to the GAP programe.
Co-trainer T Agent advised BIGTIME WINNIE would be retired from racing.
The club had put a brand new wire rope for the lure with the rope stretching after some use and came off a roller during stirups for race 8 & 10 with both races being delayed for approx 5 minutes each.
The Track staff checked the lure and rope tensions again after race 10 before the start of race 11 and reported to the Stewards that they were satisfied that that the problem was rectified.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO - C0 - 305	AHUROA WHIZZ (1) - angled outwards from the jump and was bumped angled in closer racing in to the bend to race handy. JAMBOREE (2) - ran outwards from the jump and was bumped inwards unbalancing for a couple of strides settled back was unable to get in to contention. BIG TIME LEBRON (3) - went up with the lids was last in to stride. FIRECRACKER (4) - checked soon after the start losing momentum attempted to improve soon after and was hampered in to the bend losing ground again and was unable to improve thereafter. BIGTIME ZEUS (5) - severely tightened between runners and checked soon after the start hampered when checked in to the bend finishing in midfield at the line BIGTIME AVA (6) - checked racing away from the start when tightened and pushed inwards on to other runners was improving when bumped racing in to the bend recovered good ground thereafrter to the line. BALL CHANTS (7) - checked at the start when forced inwards and came back out off heels settled back was unable to improve in the run to the line BIG TIME EILISH (8) - fav- angled across sharply from the jump causing severe tightening and checks to the majority of the field to his inner in the initial stages.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	MARLEY FARLEY (2) - fav- bumped soon after the start soon after tightened between runners changed ground inwards in to the bend settled back was unable to get in to contention there after. CHOICE SISTER (4) - ran outwards from the jump soon after was contacted in the hindquarters and was able to keep her ground. TARANAKI BRIE (5) - dwelt at the jump was dictated across racing to the bend then tightened and went back off heels losing momentum and ground was able to make ground in the run to the line. STAR WAY (6) - dwelt at the jump and was last in to stride raced wide in to and around the bend finishing towards the rear at vthe line. BIG TIME ROSE (7) - began awkwardly for a stride or so quickly soon after in to stride. SMALL BOY (8) - soon after the start angled across in to the body of the field causing tightening and checks to runners to his inner for a few strides. LIBERTY BLUE (10/3) - bumped soon after the start was unbalanced then caught heels and checked back to the rear was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	SAHARA PIPPA (2) - angled outwards from the jump was bumped and lost some momentum racing in to the first bend and raced wide thereafter hampering runner to her outer for distance in the run to the far bend. BLAZING DIAMOND (6) - dwelt at the jump and was last in to stride ran wide in to and around the first bend and was unable to get in to contention thereafter. BIG TIME PRICKLE (10/5) - angled outwards racing in to the bend on the first occasion and was dictated widest along the back straight and on to the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running and weakened soon after to finish in the rear at the line.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C0d - C0d - 645	OPAWA DENISE (2) - came off runner to her inner bumping runner to her outer in the run in to the home straight on the first occasion and raced towards the rear thereafter. BUDDY LOADED (3) - attempted to angle outwards soon after the start was bumped back in soon after was checked when avoiding heels and jostling with runner to his outer bumped and checked again losing momentum and ground racing in to the home straight on the first occasion settled back ran wide around the bend out of the home straight and was unable to improve thereafter. DIAMOND GEEZER (6) - dwelt at the jump was last in to stride and was unable to get in to contention from there on in.
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	IDOL LITTLE GIRL (1) - away well caught hindquarters and ran outwards losing ground racing around the first bend checked on the home turn when improving widest losing momentum and finished in the rear at the line. BIG TIME CLARE (6) - hampered for a couple of strides on the home turn and again near the line when tightened and jostled between runners. CAWBOURNE CHOPS (8) - settled back hampered for a couple of strides in to the first bend and again soon after when avoiding heels blocked for a run early in the run home finishing close up in 6th placing at the line.
Race 6	PRESIDENTS DASH C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	OPAWA LYON (2) - stood and missed the start by by 4 or so lengths made ground up along the inner racing in to the bend came out between runners across the top bend after striking trouble finishing in midfield at the line. BACON MY HEART (3) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled between runners was tightened and jostled again between runners losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend JUSTA GIFT (4) - fav- away ok soon after was tightened and jostled between runners checked and pushed widest in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention. ZARA ZOE (6) - soon after the start was tightened and checked back towards the rear pushed widest in to the bend was then able to angle inwards making ground thereafter. LUKE SKYWALKER (7) - angled across soon after the start causing tightening and checks to several runners in the run to the bend.
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA C2 - C2 - 305	TYNECASTLE FLYER (1) - went up with the lids and was last in to stride by 4 lengths he made good ground up along the inner to get in to midfield nearing the home turn only battled in the latter stages. LUCHA (8) - raced wide in the running .
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	This race was delayed approx 6 minutes due to a problem with the lure that was able to be fixed pretty quickly. REPLICA RANGO (3) - racing wide in to and around the first bend covering extra ground was unable to improve thereafter. JETLAG JAG (4) - midfield in to the first bend hampered when jostled for some strides around the first bend and was unable to improve thereafter. RACE ME HOME (7) - raced widest in to the first bend.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 305	This race was put back 4 minutes at the request of race day control with the race getting away approx 2 minutes over this time. SCOOBASI (1) - began awkwardly and was last in to stride by several lengths hampered for a couple of strides racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground. HOMEBUSH RIEKO (5) - checked again in to the bend when bumped inwards and went sideways for a stride or so came out over heels on the home turn losing a length or so. STORMY JAY (7) - angled across from the jump causing tightening and checks to several runners to her inner for some strides then was hampered for a stride or so in to the bend when in behind runners.
Race 10	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520	This race was put back 4 minutes at the request of race day control. BIG TIME RUSTY (4) - angled out over heels and raced widest around the first bend then raced wide thereafter covering extra ground . BIGTIME PANTHER (7) - racing around the first bend ran on to heels on a couple of occasions when attempting to improve and was held up for some strides.settled in the rear ran wide in to the far bend was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C2 - C2 - 305	Connections of CAWBOURNE JOHNO scratched in this race have advised that the dog has been retired BIGTIME SHEER (1) - bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start. NOT SHACKLEY (4) - checked runner to its inside nearing the bend. NO MUG (5) - checked runner to its outside on the point of the bend causing that runner to fall. TUFF TEMPTRESS (6) - checked off heels nearing the bend. Inconvenienced by fallen runner on point of the bend. BIGTIME LUNA (7) - checked and fell on the point of the bend regaining her feet and completing the race. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over muscles at head of right fibula. WHITE COMET (10/3) - bumped shortly after the start. Received check nearing the bend losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a ruptured right gracilus muscle.
Race 12	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME GAL (1) - shifted up the track on the point of the bend and raced wide throughout the home straight. BIGTIME ON TRACK (2) - bumped runner to its outside at the start. NAHARIS (3) - bumped runner to its inside at the start. Bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start. UNO ELEVEN (4) - bumped shortly after the start. Squeezed runner to its outside shortly after the start. RETAIL MAYHEM (6) - squeezed runner to its inside shortly after the start. DOOSH (7) - bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide through the early part of the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed bruised gracilis muscle. MR. POSTMAN (9/5) - squeezed between runners shortly after the start.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 HT1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	BIGTIME ROLL (1) - began awkwardly. Bumped entering the bend. JUST LIKE HARRY (2) - bumped runner to its outside nearing the bend. ROCKONEVA (3) - received bump nearing the bend. SO SEVERE (4) - checked and nearly fell shortly after the finishing line. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over left metarsals. BIGTIME CLAWS (7) - bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. MISTER BOOZE (8) - raced wide throughout. HOMEBUSH DEMI (9/5) - when questioned regarding the improved performance of this Greyhound connections advised that she had benefited from the draw and a clear run.
Race 14	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 HT2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	WHIPPY BALE (2) - jostled with runner to its outside shortly after the start. Checked off heels entering the home straight. CAWBOURNE SYMSY (3) - jostled with runner to its inside shortly after the start. FINAL STRAW (4) - bumped runner to its outside at the start. Raced wide throughout the home straight. STAR SECRET (5) - bumped runner to its inside at the start. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. BIGTIME TOBY (8) - slow away.
Race 15	LASER PLUMBING C1 HT3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	GOLDSTAR DAYTON down 1.5 kg in first start for trainer. JAY WENDY (1) - bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. HOMEBUSH RAZOR (2) - bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start. SLY CATH (3) - received bump shortly after the start. Bumped runner to its outside nearing the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. OPEHU EXPRESS (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Jostled, briefly, with runner to its outside nearing the bend. Checked off heels on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. GOLDSTAR DAYTON (7) - squeezed shortly after the start. Squeezed on the point of the bend. BIGTIME WINNIE (1) - received bump from runner to its outside on the point of the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a ruptured right deltoid insertion. MAGNETUDE EIGHT (2) - checked off heels entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME CHANCE (3) - bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. WONG FULL ARREST (5) - raced wide through the bend and home straight. YEE COO COO (9/6) - bumped runner to its inside on the point of the bend. OPAWA HENRY (10/8) - began awkwardly. Bumped runner to its inside on the point of the bend.
Race 17	HATRICK DASH C1 HT5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	EMPTY POCKET (1) - jostled with runner to its outside for a distance shortly after the start. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed bruising both hind feet and tender both front wrists. JUDGE ME JACKIE (2) - jostled with runner to its outside through the back straight. Forced up the track when bumped on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. THREE AMIGOS (3) - jostled with runner to its inside through the back straight. Checked on the point of the bend being almost dragged down as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain left infer THRILLING IVY (5) - bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide through the home straight.
