Judicial report: 1). Stewards opened and adjourned an investigation into the non valid nomination of HAPPY DAYS which necessitated its scratching from today's meeting.~~

2). All 457 metre races today were effected by hand start after it was reported that these boxes had failed to open consistently when being tested prior to the meeting.~~

3). Race 4 on today's programme was declared a No Race after the Lure malfunctioned and stopped prior to reaching the bend.~~

Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a tricep muscle injury and pain to its left shoulder. This standdown was subsequently rescinded on 19 June. SOUTHERN MAX (4) - slow early. SOZIN'S AZURE (5) - slow early. HOMEBUSH JENNIA (6) - collided with inside runner early stages. OPAL HUNTER (8) - faltered and lost ground in the run to the finish line. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to be lame through its left shoulder.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 457	HOMEBUSH ERIN (1) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. LAKOTA TONKA (2) - squeezed for room early. HOMEBUSH COMBAT (3) - squeezed for room early. Dragged down entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SOZIN'S EMPIRE (4) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH GINA (5) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SURGEON (6) - checked and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 3	FIND US ON TWITTER @ SGRCINFO - C1 - 457	STORMING MACK (1) - squeezed between runners entering the bend losing ground. CHUNK (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. TRAJAN (5) - boxed first. Began awkwardly. OPAWA AL (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. BRUISER'S DAY (7) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground and becoming awkwardly placed to the outside of runners. CHAT YA LATER (9/2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 4	ASCOT PARK RUN - C1/2 - 457	No Race declared due to Lure malfunction. All Greyhounds were subjected to a Veterinary examination on exiting the track with no injuries reported.
Race 5	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C3 - 390	GRACIE LEE (1) - bumped with outside runner prior to the bend. OPAWA WAIHEMO (2) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR RENEE (6) - raced wide through the run home. SHANLY STAR (9/4) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend losing ground.
Race 6	TONI@BODYAUDITSOUTH PH021657001 - C4/5 - 457	GOLDSTAR ASHTON (1) - checked outwards off heels entering the bend. GALIFIANAKIS (4) - came up with the lids and was slow to jump after its off front foot became caught in the lids. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KETCHIKAN BLUE (6) - inconvenienced entering the bend losing momentum.
Race 7	ADDED ENERGY MAIDEN FINAL 1 - C0f - 457	LAKOTA KOHANA (4) - jostled with outside runner earlys tages. LAKOTA MICCO (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages. OPAWA NAT (6) - bumped and squeezed for racing room early stages. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (7) - jostled with inside runner early stages.
Race 8	ORETI BEACH RUN - C1 - 457	MELTING WORLD (2) - checked entering the bend. HOMEBUSH INDI (3) - squeezed for room and contacted entering the bend losing ground. KOPUTAI (7) - boxed first. Raced wide in the run to the bend and again through the run home. MR BLACK MAGIC (8) - checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend. Collided with inside runner entering the bend and lost ground.
Race 9	MR WHIPPY SOUTHLAND - C4/5 - 390	REIGN OF FIRE (5) - boxed first. Raced wide exiting the bend. TEE AN' CEE (7) - lost ground when obliged to check off heels entering the bend. HANDS OF STEEL (8) - slow to jump. Checked off heels rounding the bend.
Race 10	ADDED ENERGY MAIDEN FINAL 2 - C0f - 457	OPAWA SLICK (1) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. KOWLOON LIGHTS (2) - checked off heels entering the bend. THREE GOLD STARS (3) - jostled with outside runner prior to the bend. GOLDSTAR FLORA (4) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. OUR BONNIE (5) - squeezed for room prior to the bend. MACHINE GUNN (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after concerns were raised by its handler with no abnormalities reported.
Race 11	CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN BEAVER - C2 - 390	CRUSHINGTON (2) - forced down the track early stages. SHAW WINNER (3) - jostled prior to the bend. HOMEBUSH COMET (4) - jostled prior to the bend. LONELY BAXTER (5) - bumped with inside runner entering the bend losing ground. NIKKO BAXTER (7) - raced wide final straight.
Race 12	SOUTHERN LIGHTS AT STUD - C3 - 390	HOMEBUSH HUNDY (3) - checked outwards off heels rounding the bend weakened final stages. Referred to the Veterinarian after falling to the track after crossing the winning post where no injury was reported. BLACK BOBBY (4) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. KIA TERE (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. SOZIN'S BLUE (6) - forced down the track early stages. MITCHAM FAYE (7) - forced down the track early stages. HOMEBUSH TESAN (8) - when questioned regarding the greyhounds improved performance Trainer J McInerney explained it had benefited from being able to jump clear and have an unimpeded run throughout.

MITCHAM BECKY (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Jostled with outside runner prior to the bend. BALDRICK (8) - jostled with inside runner prior to the bend.
Race 14	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C1 - 390	ROCKY VINCITORE (1) - boxed first. HALF SILVER FERN (3) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. Squeezed for room entering the bend and lost ground. MY GIRL SOFIA (4) - squeezed for room early stages. Squeezed for room entering the bend and lost ground. COSMIC RYDER (6) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. ZIP ZAP ZOE (7) - boxed first. Collided with inside runner entering the bend and lost ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a small laceration to its left hind saphenous vein.
Race 15	RACING AGAIN 2ND JULY - C1 - 390	PUNCH ON REX (3) - began awkwardly. Held up for racing room rounding the bend. FLYING CANARY (5) - slow early before bumping with inside runner losing ground.
