Judicial report: 1) GO BRAT (J & D Fahey) was a late scratching from Race 6 when found to have minor lameness when retrieved from kennels. 2) VON STRASS (J & D Fahey) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1.b. for Failing to Pursue the Lure during Race 11.

KIWI GUNN (3) - tightened early stages. SMASH BOMBER (4) - checked by outside runner early stages. Checked by inside runner into bend becoming unbalanced then faltered soon after dropping away. Assessed by vet and found to have a fractured hock. BLACK TORI (5) - ran inwards early stages pushing runners down track. DYNA DIODE (6) - slow to jump. Checked on bend losing ground. CATHY MAREE (7) - awkwardly away settling a clear last.

Badly checked into bend dropping to rear. CULVIE LASS (8) - contacted by inside runner into bend and turned for a stride losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Springston Hotel Sprint - C4 - 295	ELODEA (2) - pushed wider home turn. DYNA KUSHIDA (3) - pushed down track early stages. Pushed inwards and struck rail into bend dropping to a clear last. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. WHEELIE WHEELS (4) - ran inwards early stages pushing runner down track. Ran outwards home turn. MITCHAM FAYE (5) - tightened and ran inwards into bend. LITTLE KRAKATOA (7) - last on settling. Forced wide around bend. Raced wide home straight. SMASH ATTACK (8) - pushed wide home turn.
Race 4	Flair Sprint Heat 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	ROCKET RACCOON (1) - ran outwards back straight. PLATINUM MARSHAL (2) - pushed down track early stages. HOMEBUSH BODEN (3) - ran outwards then pushed back down track back straight losing ground. WILDEBEEST (4) - checked by outside runner early stages. Raced wide around bend. FIERY JEN (5) - ran inwards early stages checking inside runner. TREVILLE (6) - pushed outwards back straight. Ran outwards home turn and dragged runner down. BOOKIE MONSTER (7) - pushed wide into bend losing ground. HANKENSTEIN (8) - angled inwards home turn then dragged down losing momentum. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	DANZIGER (1) - tightened by outside runners on bend losing ground. HILTON FORABET (2) - checked by outside runner on bend running wide and losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (3) - ran inwards on bend checking inside runners. LISA'S BOY (4) - ran outwards back straight and dragged down for a stride losing ground. Held up and forced wide around bend. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HIGH RETURN (6) - got on heels into bend losing momentum. INSIDE AFFAIR (7) - clear last on settling. LITTLE SECRET (7) - tightened into first bend losing ground. Raced wide home straight. BIGTIME KISS (8) - slow to jump. Forced wide first bend. OPAWA LYN (9/6) - slow to jump. Tightened between runners into bend and fell. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.

BUSY ROCCA (3) - tightened and weakened home turn. OPAWA MAGIC (5) - got on heels first bend running wide. Again ran wide back straight. Angled inwards home turn. BAHAMA QUEEN (6) - placed in restricted room last bend losing momentum. IT'S COMPLICATED (7) - forced very wide around first bend dropping to the rear. Remained a clear last throughout. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. The connections advised that this bitch will be restricted to sprints in its immediate racing programme. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (8) - slow to jump. Hampered home turn losing momentum.
Race 11	The Fitz Sports Bar N Z Oaks Heat 4 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4	KNOW CHARISMA (2) - raced wide back straight. MALAGA MOLLY (3) - ran wide back straight. OPAWA JUNE (4) - pushed down track early stages. VON STRASS (5) - contacted by outside runner early stages. Ran outwards entering the back straight and then was turned sideways after contacting outside runner. Turned head outwards free of interference home straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1.b. for Failing to Pursue the Lure and must complete Satisfactory Trial. BIGTIME LILAH (6) - slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels into first bend and ran very wide losing chance. Again ran very wide last bend. Assessed by vet and found to have cramp in its gracilis. RAQUEL ALLEN (7) - ran inwards early stages contacting inside runner. Contacted by inside runner entering back straight. SMASH ACHIEVER (8) - slow to jump.
Race 12	Flair Sprint Heat 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 3	NOZZNO FEAR (1) - badly checked and struck rail back straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. NELSO ALLEN (2) - badly checked back straight losing ground. PRINCELY GOLD (4) - badly tightened and fell back straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. PITA RAMOS (5) - badly tightened back straight. Fell at lure. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BUSINESS ETHICS (8) - last to jump. BOTANY COLD (9/7) - ran inwards back straight contacting and causing severe tightening to inside runners. Weakened home turn. Suffered a fractured hock and was euthanised on humane grounds.
