Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned into a handler allegedly leaving the collar on a Greyhound which then raced with that item of gear still on. The person concerned had left the course when the matter came to the attention of the Stewards.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 410	STORMIN' HOME (2) - began awkwardly but recovered quickly to race handy and finished in 4th place. BIGTIME MILA (5) - in contact and was unbalanced from the start and settled back. TUFF AN' SPICY (6) - was tightened between runners from the start and got back and stayed there. BIGTIME LEO (7) - in contact from the start and settled back and never improved his position and finished last. BIGTIME STELLA (8) - in contact going to the first turn and unbalanced but recovered to finish in 3rd place. SKELDALE (9/3) - in contact for some distance going to the first turn and stayed out wide and finished well back.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 410	CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (1) - obliged to ease to avoid heels into the first turn and lost momentum briefly. CHOICE LASS (9/5) - raced a little wide and stayed back to finish near the rear. SPARK 'EM UP (10/8) - raced wide over extra ground and finished last.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accesories C1 - C1 - 410	EBBY RAPTOR (4) - checked and fell on the bend and took no further part in the race. Referred to the Vet and euthanised due to a fractured foreleg. LESLIE ALBERT (5) - bumped after the start and unbalanced. Distracted momentarily by the fallen runners and lost momentum and stayed back to finish last. BIGTIME CUTIE (6) - bumped and shifted out on the bend and was in contact and fell. Completed the race and referred to the Vet and found to have bruising over rump with a 10 days stand down. TAKE ACTION (7) - tightened between runners at the start and got back. Forced wide into the bend and stayed back to finish near the rear. BIGTIME RONNIE (8) - shifted in from the start and was in contact losing momentum briefly but recovered to finish 3rd.
Race 4	T McDonald Memorial Distance Heats 11th April @ Cambridge C2 - C2 - 410	CAWBOURNE MOSS (7) - jumped in abruptly from the start and checked another runner. RAMBO (9/6) - checked when the start was made and settled back and raced wide and stayed there throughout.
Race 5	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 410	BIGTIME MARLEY (1) - lost ground when awkwardly positioned into the first turn and was crowded for a short distance. APRICITY (4) - shifted out after the start and bumped with another runner. Continued to shift out and raced wide over extra ground and finished well back. PLAN STAN (5) - checked and lost ground when another runner lay in entering the home straight. EYE FAR (6) - bumped and inconvenienced after the start but recovered to go on and win the race. BIGTIME SERENA (7) - hampered when jostled for a short distance after the start. Lay in onto another runner which was checked into the straight.
Race 6	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C3 - C3 - 410	THREE AMIGOS (4) - was awkwardly positioned going to the first turn and was jostled and settled well back and stayed there. LIMPY JACKSON (7) - slow to begin and lost two lengths but recovered to finish 3rd. BIGTIME BANJO (8) - began awkwardly and settled back but also made up ground to finish 4th.
Race 7	L Henley Memorial Heats 11th April @ Cambridge C4 - C4 - 410	BIGTIME JASMINE (2) - one of the slowest to begin and settled back. Checked on the home turn and shifted out onto another runner and stayed back to finish last. MAHALA BAY (3) - awkwardly placed between runners into the straight and lost ground and stayed back to finish 2nd last. referred to the vet and stood down for 10 days with tensor fascia late muscle pain. BIGTIME MINNIE (8) - was slow to jump and lost ground. Was bumped and unbalanced when on a forward move on the home turn and lost momentum.
Race 8	Kamada Park C1 - C1 - 457	VAN JACK (3) - forced wide going to first turn and then covered extra ground on the bend and finished last. BILL'S BARKER (4) - bumped early and settled back and stayed there throughout to finish 2nd last. BIONIC BOY (5) - shifted out going to first turn and forced another runner off line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 457	BIGTIME PAIGE (3) - hampered after the start when jostled between runners for a short distance. ARM TURNER (4) - bumped and unbalanced briefly going to first turn. BIGTIME SHADOW (7) - jostled and unbalance going to first turn. Checked and fell on the bend but finished the race and referred to the Vet and stood down for 10 days with right hip bruising. VIBE (8) - began awkwardly and settled at the rear but made up ground to finish 3rd.
Race 10	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C2 - C2 - 457	BIGTIME ALFIE (2) - shifted out after the start and hampered two other runners which lost ground. Checked approaching home turn and lost ground and stayed back. BIGTIME MIKE (4) - hampered and lost ground after the start. LUCKY JAMES (5) - crowded and lost ground after the start. CAVEMAN SAM (7) - checked approaching the home straight and stayed well back for the remainder. BRAZIL CAMBARA (8) - checked and unbalanced on the home turn and drifted to finish in last place.
Race 11	Total Bodyshop Supplies C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	KAMADA PARK (4) - slow to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout. ALLEN MACK (6) - slow away from the start and got back and stayed there to finish last. GAZZA'S GIRL (7) - slow away from the start but made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 12	NZ Derby Group 1 Heats 11th April @ Cambridge C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIG LEAGUE DIVA (1) - was the slowest to begin and stayed back throughout to finish last. ASK KING JEFF (7) - raced wide after starting from an outside draw and finished 5th. BIGTIME LEVI (8) - also raced wide from an outside draw and he finished 4th.
