Track: Good The track was presented in good order but there was again a problem with the lure wire. This was identified following Race 8 and resulted in the wire having to be replaced and the meeting was put back by 3 races with the final race re scheduled to start at 4.52 pm instead of the original time of 4.14 pm.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: BIGTIME THOR, HEY FERNANDO and FUNKY FACTS all completed satisfactory trials and are now cleared to continue their race programs. BLAZING DIAMOND in Race 1 turned her head out of the boxes and after being cleared by the Vet, was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before her next race start.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	BLAZING DIAMOND (1) - Turned her head when jumping from the boxes and was referred to the Vet and cleared and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. BIGTIME AVA (2) - was hampered when jumping from the boxes FINAL STRAW (4) - inconvenienced going into the bend when crossed by another runner. TWO PERCENTA (5) - in contact when the start was made and inconvenienced briefly BIGTIME STELLA (6) - bumped and inconvenienced from the start but recovered quickly. YEE COO COO (8) - shifted in going into the bend and hampered another runner briefly.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	BIGTIME COCO (1) - lost her footing behind when jumping from the boxes and lost several lengths and all chance. SKELDALE (3) - shifted out entering the home straight but kept going to finish in 4th place. SEFTON BREW (4) - checked and lost ground after the start. Crowded going into the first turn and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder. TUFF AN' SPICY (6) - checked from outside after the start and lost momentum and stayed well back. BIGTIME LEO (7) - shifted in abruptly from the start and crowded inside runners which were checked. checked going to the first turn and unbalanced. IT'S TIMMY (9/5) - tightened after the start and again into first turn and was inconvenienced on both occasions.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	BIGTIME PUMA (2) - momentarily held up into the first turn when awkwardly positioned. PIRULETA (3) - checked and lost several lengths into first turn and stayed back to finish last. BIGTIME SILVER (4) - checked going into the first turn and stayed back to finish in 7th place. GRUNTY MAMA (6) - shifted in going into first turn and crowded inside runners which were checked and she was also inconvenienced.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	PRETTIEST EYES (1) - checked after the start and stayed back to finish last. FLYING HUEY (2) - checked after the start and stayed well back for the remainder GOTCHA PIXIE (3) - slow to begin and settled back. NGAKAWAU (4) - was crowded and galloped on the leading running on the bend and was checked VIKING ASH (5) - began awkwardly losing ground and settled back. SECRET INDY (6) - crowded after the start and checked. SET THE LIMIT (7) - tightened and checked after the start but recovered to win. BIGTIME FANTASY (8) - shifted in from the start and crowded several other runners which were checked. Shifted in on the bend and was checked from behind and took no further part in the race. Suffered a fracture/dislocation of the carpal joint with a 42 days stand down.
Race 5	RIVER CITY GAS C1 - C1 - 305	SPOT WOODSTOCK (1) - tightened and fell soon after the start and took no further part in the race. Stood down for 14 days with lameness behind and calf muscle pain SCOOBASI (2) - tightened after the start and lost ground and stayed back for the remainder. NIGHT HOWLER (3) - tightened from the outside after the start and went back to the rear and stayed there. HURRICANE AL (5) - shifted in after the start and caused tightening and checks to inside runners. BIGTIME ELVIS (7) - was slow to begin but made up ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 6	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	BLUE WHIZZ (1) - crowded going to first turn and shuffled back to near the rear and stayed well back. ALAMEIN PANDA (2) - crowded from outside in the race to first turn and went back to last. Checked again soon after losing further ground and finished last. OPEHU EXPRESS (4) - bumped and unbalanced after the start and went back to the rear. BIGTIME HUNTER (5) - bumped and unbalanced after the start but recovered to finish in 2nd place.
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	UNO ELEVEN (2) - crowded going to the first turn and went back to the rear. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (3) - slow away from the start and stayed well back to finish 7th. RAINING SIXES (5) - crowded into first turn and lost ground and stayed well back. LET'S GO SPRITE (6) - shifted in going to first turn and crowded inside runners which were checked. ARTICULATOR (7) - slow to begin and got back but ran on well to finish 3rd.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	IDOL DUKE (3) - was checked after the start and settled at the rear. Was checked again when attempting to improve on the bend and stayed back to finish last. DREAM ON DREAMER (8) - raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished back in the field in 7th place.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	TUFF MR. TEE (2) - checked from the start and got back. Raced wide covering extra ground in the back straight. IRIS ALLEN (3) - bumped and lost ground at the start and got back. Checked into first turn and stayed back for the remainder. GO SLICK (7) - slow to begin and settled back. Checked into first corner and stayed back to finish in last place. LIZZY O'SHEA (8) - checked going into the first turn and lost ground and stayed back throughout the remainder.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	BIGTIME SERENA (2) - checked going to first turn and again going into the bend and went back to last and stayed back. BIGTIME RONNIE (4) - shifted in marginally going to the first turn and checked another runner. COLLECT A DREAM (6) - checked after the line and fell but was quickly back on her feet. Referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. JAX JEWEL (7) - was slow away from the start and settled back. In contact into the first turn and inconvenienced but made up some ground for 4th place. GO SHOW (8) - hampered and lost momentum going into the first corner and stayed well back to finish 2nd last.
Race 11	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	BIGTIME BRET (2) - began awkwardly and settled back. In contact into first turn and stayed back for the remainder to finish 2nd last. MAKING IT UP (8) - in contact into the first turn and lost momentum and stayed back to finish last.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 Ht4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	BIGTIME PAIGE (3) - checked losing ground going into the first bend but made up ground for 4th place. TUFF TREASURE (4) - was slow to begin and settled back. MAINLINE LIL (5) - checked going into the first bend and stayed back to finish 2nd last. OPAWA HENRY (10/2) - drifted off the back of the field into the final bend and finished in last place.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	SOZIN'S TREASURE (2) - was awkwardly positioned going into the bend and lost momentum. Once into clear running, finished well for 2nd. BIGTIME CLEVER (5) - slow away from the boxes and got back and stayed there throughout to finish 2nd last. MISTER BOOZE (6) - raced wide covering extra ground but ran on well for 3rd place. LIGHTNING LU (7) - was handy to home turn but checked over heels and ran wide losing momentum and finished 5th.
Race 14	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	SHREWDY up in weight by 2.1 kilograms but had not raced since 13.02.19 and this was an intentional increase. CASSIA (2) - began awkwardly and settled back where she stayed throughout. SAHARA PENNY (3) - in contact and was inconvenienced at the start but ran on well for 2nd place. GOTCHA AUSSIE (4) - bumped and unbalanced at the start but recovered to finish in 3rd place. SHREWDY (8) - raced wide for the majority of the race and covered extra ground as a result and finished last.
Race 15	PRESIDENTS DASH C1 - C1 - 305	SPARK 'EM UP (3) - slow to begin and settled back. Checked over heels into the bend and ran wide. PUNCH ON RUBY (5) - shifted out and lay on another runner for some distance in the back straight. FIFI (6) - was crowded for some distance going to the first turn but when in the clear, finished well for 3rd place. SEDGEBROOK PRIDE (9/2) - drifted over the final stages and finished in last place.
