Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: An inquiry was held in to the delay of the lure being started for race 9 at the Palmerston North Greyhounds on the 4-3-2019 after speaking with lure driver Mr R Gurney he was reminded of his duty of care in the future when being given the all clear by the starter.
An inquiry was held in to the running of a time trial for the GOLDEN CHASE series at the Palmerston North Greyhounds on the 4-3-2019 with starter Mr S Gillies being reminded of duty to give the appropriate instructions to the handlers prior to boxing away in the future.
ROBSON ( P Ferguson ) completed a time trial for the GOLDEN CHASE series in a time of 25.90 and was pre trial swabbed.
RUMBLE SOLDIER 9 P Ferguson ) completed a time trial for the GOLDEN CHASE series in a time of 26.15 and was pre trial swabbed.

Race 1 Matt Cross Commentating Here 18th March C0 - C0 - 375 BIGTIME LEO referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME STELLA (5) - dwelt at the jump and was slightly hampered by outer runner abruptly angling across .
BIGTIME LEO (6) - ran sharply inwards from the jump across the face of runner to his inner was contacted hard in the side and ran outwards contacting runner to his outer losing momentum finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet .
ASAJJ VENTRESS (7) - checked and forced wide racing in to the bend losing all chance.
Race 2 Aaron White Commentating Here 18th March C1 - C1 - 375 HE'S A SHARKIE referred to the vet. and was found to have suffered a compound fracture of the left stifle and was euthanised,
HE'S A SHARKIE (1) - was dictated across from the jump making contact with the rail and falling and was referred to the vet.
BLUE PRECISION (2) - soon after the start severely tightened and forced inwards pushing runner to his inner in on to the rail came out forcing runners wider in to the home staright.
VIBE (3) - tightened and jostled for several strides soon after the start recovered well.
ALF TUPPER (4) - angled across from the jump causing severe tightening and jostling several runners to his inner for some strides
SLAM IT (5) - checked in to the bend when tightened and catching heels
COLLECT A DREAM (6) - ran in sharply at the jump tightened and jostled with runners racing on to the top bend checked and forced wide in to the home straight.
BIGTIME BEE (8) - checked in to the bend when contacting hindquarters.
Race 3 George Simon Commentating Here 18th March C1 - C1 - 375 APRICITY was referred to the vet and was found to have bruising over the right shoulder a 7 day stand down was recommended. QUEEN KONG was referred to the vet and was found to have an bruising to the right hip & left shoulder a 10 day stand down was recommended.
GOTCHA PIXIE (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so soon after was tightened and checked for some strides
EPIC SPARK (3) - hampered for a few strides after the start when contacted in the hindquarters.
BARBAROSSA BOY (4) - badly hampered soon after the start when tightened and checked racing in to the bend was forced to abruptly back off heels checking runners to his outer
OPEHU EXPRESS (5) - badly hampered soon after the start when tightened and checked racing in to the bend was severely hampered and lost all chance when pushed outwards the face of following runners.
APRICITY (8) - racing widest in to the bend when being severely checked stumbling and making contact with the outside fence she finished on to the lure and was referred to the vet .
QUEEN KONG (9/6) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to her inner for some strides racing in to the bend was severely checked and fell recovering to her paws to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet
Race 4 Trevor Wilkes Commentating Here 18th March C2 - C2 - 375 WET GAMBLER (1) - jumped first settled midfield was unable to finish on in the run to the line.
ELECTRICAL STORM (2) - tightened and checked soon after the start contacted in the side losing momentum settling towards the rear recovered well to make ground around runners across teh top bend.
EYE FAR (3) - hampered for a couple of strides soon after the start when jostled
BIGTIME MARLEY (4) - began awkwardly for a stride or so settled midfield improved around runners across the top bend finished best.
HOMEBUSH BELLE (6) - dwelt for a stride at the jump was then tightened between runners going back a length or so
HURRICANE AL (7) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to her inner for a few strides
THRILLING ARNOLD (8) - forced to race widest in the running.
Race 5 Mark McNamara Commentating Here 18th March C2 - C2 - 375 BIGTIME BANJO referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. LUCKY JAMES referred to the vet and was found to have bruising over the left shoulder both thighs and over the pelvis area a 14 day stand down was recommedned. COOL WOLF referred to the vet and was found to have bruising over the left shoulder & left hip a 10 day stand down was recommended. SPOT ON HEARTY referred to the vet and was found to have a avulsion of p2 toenail on the right hind a 14 day stand down was recommended.
BIGTIME BANJO (2) - racing in to the bend was forced to check out off heels severely checking runners to his outer and losing all chance was referred to the vet
LUCKY JAMES (3) - severely tightened and checked racing in to the bend falling and recovering to his paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet .
COOL WOLF (5) - severely hampered and fell racing in to the bend recovered to her paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet
SPOT ON HEARTY (8) - severely checked racing in to the bend losing footing when in behind and making contact with the fence finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet
Race 6 Dave McDonald Commentating Here 18th March C3 - C3 - 375 PLAN STAN (1) - contacted soon after the start settled back of midfield angled wide across the top bend raced widest thereafter.
THREE AMIGOS (8) - angled out across heels when improving nearing the home turn.
Race 7 Andy McCook Commentating Here 18th March C1 - C1 - 410 SCOTT NO VALUE (1) - began awkwardly recovered quickly was hampered for several strides when tightened and jostled racing in to the bend.
BIGTIME LIZZY (3) - fav- hampered for some strides in the run to the bend when tightened and dictated in on to runner to her inner.
PICK A PASCAL (4) - contacted in the hindquarters and was unbalanced for a couple of strides racing in to the bend.
BIGTIME SAM (5) - angled across from the jump hampering and tightening runners to his inner for some strides.
CHOICE LASS (7) - angled across in to the bend catching hindquarters and losing momentum and ground.
WONG FULL ARREST (8) - hampered and checked racing in to the bend when contacted from her inner ran wide in to the bend was slightly hampered again on the home turn when racing towards the rear .
Race 8 Jason Teaz Commentating Here 18th March C1 - C1 - 410 CAWBOURNE ASSIST (5) - contacted runner to his outer when attempting to improve between runners nearing the home turn.
BIGTIME CLEVER (6) - dwelt at the jump and was last in to stride raced widest when attempting to improve around runners was contacted and unbalanced on the home turn losing momentum and ground
Race 9 Tony Lee Commentating Here 18th March C1 - C1 - 457 BILL'S BARKER was 1.5 kgs down at kenneling last start was 31-12-2018 with the trainer being happy with the dog's condition and was vetted clear to race.
MISTER EBBY (5) - hampered for a couple of strides when jostled between runners racing on to the top bend.
HASHTAG BLESSED (7) - jostled with runners to his outer when angling out to avoid heels racing on to the top bend.
FIREFLY LAFFEY (8) - forced to race widest in to and around the bend
Race 10 James Van de Maat Commentating Here 18th March C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457 BIGTIME CHRIS (3) - angled inwards contacting challenging runner to his inner just short of the line.
BIGTIME ROCCO (4) - was contacted and went sideways for a couple of strides when looking to challenge the leader just short of the line.
JINJA BAILEY (7) - raced widest throughout.
Race 11 $15,000 Terminating Pick Six Here 18th March C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457 BIGTIME LEADS (3) - racing in to the bend moved ground outwards slightly catching shoulder of runner just to his outer and was unbalanced and lost momentum for a couple of strides.
JINJA MIGHT (4) - contacted runner to his inner racing on to the top bend and was hampered when catching hindquarters as runners jostled ahead.
LIMPY JACKSON (6) - ran wide in to the bend angled inwards improved to be handy then ran outwards coming together with wide runner in the latter stages.
BIGTIME FOREST (7) - contacted and went sideways for a stride or two losing some momentum in the run on to the top bend.
THOMAS WILLIAM (8) - forced to race widest in to and around the bend come together and jostled with runner to his inner in the latter stages.
Race 12 City of Palmerston North Golden Chase 29th March, 2019 Stakes C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457 KIWI GAL (2) - dwelt and was unbalanced for a stride or so coming off the mats settled in the rear was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
FUSION CRONULLA (5) - held up in the run across the top bend when attempting to clear heels to improve
YOU CAN BE (8) - attempted to make ground wide out around the bend in to the home straight.
