Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: WATCH MY BACK was observed by the Stewards to be in the back of a vehicle in an apparent mildly distressed state. The Handler was called to the vehicle and the dog was taken to the kennels, examined by the Vet and was declared a late scratching from Race 15 with mild heat stroke and an elevated temperature. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the matter. MILLIE PRINCE which raced at Palmerston North on 11.02.2019 and which was stood down for 10 days with an injury, was represented to a Vet on this day 13.02.2019 and under Rule 56.6 the stand down was rescinded and the dog is now cleared to race.

Checked off heels into the bend and lost momentum briefly. CAWBOURNE RHYS (5) - was the slowest to begin. In contact on the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and finished last. JUST LIKE HARRY (6) - bumped after the start and inconvenienced. In contact on the bend and was unbalanced and stayed back to finish 7th.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE HT2 C0 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	STUMBLIN' IN (2) - drifted to the rear after the start and stayed back to finish several lengths last. Referred to the Vet and stood down for 7 days with slight pain in a gracilis muscle FINAL STRAW (4) - crowded after the start and lost ground. Raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. FIRECRACKER (5) - crowded from outside after the start and lost ground and stayed well back throughout. LESLIE ALBERT (9/6) - shifted in after the start and crowded inside runners which were checked.
Race 3	AON CPF HT3 CO - C0q - 305 Heat 3	ARIANA SUNSET (2) - shifted out into the bend and covered extra ground. SKELDALE (4) - was jostled after the start when wanting to shift out. Was dictated wide into the bend and stayed wide covering extra ground. OPAWA MARCIE (5) - crowded after the start and settled well back. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (6) - tightened after the start and lost ground but ran on at the end to finish 3rd. HOPCORN (7) - tightened and lost ground from the start but ran to finish in 4th place. IT'S TIMMY (9/8) - shifted in abruptly and crowded inside runners which were checked.
Race 4	PALMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION HT4 CO - C0q - 305 Heat 4	BIGTIME CUTIE (1) - slow to begin losing four lengths but recovered to make up ground and finished 2nd. HURRICANE AYLA (2) - jostled and unbalanced after the start and lost ground. In contact into the bend and she stayed well back. GOLDSTAR WILSON (3) - jostled between runners after the start and shuffled back to the rear but ran on for 5th place. BLUE WHIZZ (6) - checked going into the bend and went back to the rear and stayed back. MISTER BOOZE (7) - checked and forced wide into the bend but made up ground for 4th place.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 520	ZARA JINX (1) - went to the lead in the straight but eased and just held on to win. Was referred to the Vet and found to have hock pain and a tendon strain with a 21 day stand down and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing BIGTIME SHEER (2) - in contact on the final bend and was checked and went back to finish in last place. RACE ME HOME (6) - was checked going into the first turn losing ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME JASPER (7) - very slow from the boxes losing several lengths. Checked on the final bend and lost momentum. BIGTIME BENJI (8) - shifted in going into the first bend and checked an inside runner.
Race 6	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	PRETTIEST EYES (1) - began a little awkwardly and got back. JAY WENDY (5) - was the slowest away from the boxes and stayed back throughout. ARTHUR'S CROWN (6) - raced wide into the bend but ran on well to finish 3rd. MAGNETUDE EIGHT (7) - raced wide over extra ground on the bend and stayed back to finish last. ZOE JEAN (8) - raced wide into the bend over extra ground but ran on to finish in 4th place.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	SLAM IT (4) - was bumped and inconvenienced after the start and settled back. PURPLE CIRCLE (7) - raced wide over extra ground and stayed back to finish last. RISING HAWKE (8) - was slow to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout.
Race 8	HATRICK STAKES HT 1 C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	LADY JELLYBEAN (2) - shifted out to race wide in the back straight but ran on well to finish 3rd. DYNA BART (3) - crowded between runners after the start and got back where he stayed for the remainder. JAY MIKE (8) - shifted in from the start and hampered an inside runner which settled back.
Race 9	THE ROCK 95.2FM HT 2 C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	NIAMH'S WAY (1) - collided and lost ground going into first corner and stayed back for the remainder. BIGTIME BRODY (2) - checked and unbalanced into the first turn and stayed back for the remainder. GO SHOW (3) - was the slowest to begin but recovered to make up ground for 3rd place. TRUE TESTAMENT (4) - bumped and unbalanced after the start and got back but made up ground for 4th place
Race 10	PRESIDENT STAKES HT 3 C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	BIONIC BOY (3) - hampered and briefly unbalanced into the first turn. DIAMOND GEEZER (4) - was the slowest to begin and settled back. Clipped heels going into the first turn and lost momentum but recovered to run on into 4th place. LUCKY MICK (5) - checked from behind into the first turn and lost momentum briefly.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY HT 4 C1 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	CAWBOURNE ZAYNE (1) - began awkwardly losing ground and settled back. TUFF TREASURE (3) - checked from behind after being awkwardly placed in restricted room into the first bend and went back to last. BIGTIME ALFIE (4) - crowded after the start and got back. Hampered going into the first turn and lost momentum and settled back. JAX JEWEL (5) - in contact after the start and settled well back and stayed there. METEOR VEGE (8) - bumped and forced wide into the first bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION C1 - C1 - 305	SAHARA PENNY (2) - in contact on two occasions into the bend and lost ground. BIGTIME WINNIE (4) - was bumped and unbalanced and almost fell after the start and went back to last. BIGTIME ELVIS (6) - slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground for 5th place. ZARA ZOE (7) - in contact on two occasions on the bend but recovered to finish in 3rd place. KILLER FROST (9/1) - was checked on the bend and went back onto another runner and finished 2nd last. SHAMROCK GREEN (10/3) - was unable to avoid another runner on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING FINAL C1 - C1f - 305	AHUROA FLYER (4) - checked going to first turn and lost three lengths. HE'S A SHARKIE (5) - raced wide on the bend and was in contact on the bend and was inconvenienced briefly. INDY'S BOY (7) - checked over heels on the bend and shifted out abruptly. In contact soon after losing further ground and finished last.
Race 14	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	TYNECASTLE FLYER (1) - crowded from the outside going to the first turn and lost ground. TIGER UPPERCUT (2) - was slow away from the boxes and got back. Forced wide into the bend over extra ground. VIKING ASH (3) - crowded into the first turn and was shuffled back to the rear and stayed well back. CLOVER FANTASY (4) - shifted in going to the first corner and crowded and checked inside runners. BLACKISH (5) - shifted out into the bend and forced other runners off line. SEDGEBROOK PRIDE (7) - forced wide over extra ground into the bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 15	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 305	STOLE ME WALLET (2) - drifted to the rear after the start and finished several lengths behind the other runners. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 28 days with hip support pain. TUFF TEMPTRESS (7) - ran wide into the bend covering extra ground. SOZIN'S TREASURE (8) - covered extra ground on the bend.
