Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Supplementary to Wanganui Greyhound meeting on the 21-12-2018. The requalifying trial held that day has not been officially recorded due to a runner not being clear of an injury stand down so was not eligible to take it's place in the field. There has been another Satisfactory Trial at today's meeting with all runners being eligible to compete. The field today was BIGTIME WILLOW, BLAZIN AUDREY, BLAZIN SAVANNA, GAZZA'S GIRL with Blinkers on and TURANZA'S TERROR and they all completed Satisfactory Trials and will be clear to race on completion of the stand downs which had been imposed.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	OPEHU EXPRESS (5) - bumped into the bend and shifted out forcing another runner wide. LIGHTNING LU (7) - bumped and lost momentum after the start. forced wide on the bend and stayed back to finish last. KAYTEE GIBBS (8) - bumped when the start was made and settled back where she stayed throughout.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	MISCHIEF VIKING (1) - slow to begin and settled back but ran on well to win. DYNA BOOMER (5) - slow from the boxes and settled back but did make up some ground. THREE OF HEARTS (7) - slow to begin and stayed well back throughout.
Race 3	J P PRINT PETONE C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME BOY escaped for a brief period in the parade area but was quickly recaptured, examined by the Vet and cleared to race. SOZIN'S NOIR (2) - Jostled and lost momentum after the start but recovered to go on and win the race. MINI MANSION (3) - jostled early in the race and settled back and stayed there. BIGTIME BOY (4) - in contact and lost momentum early in the race but made up ground to finish 4th. SET THE LIMIT (5) - raced wide over extra ground and finished last. NAHARIS (7) - began awkwardly and settled back and stayed well back throughout. BIGTIME BEV (8) - raced wide in the home straight but ran on for 3rd. Cramped after the race and was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	AON CPF C2 FINAL - C2f - 520	HE'S A SHARKIE (2) - slow to begin and settled back and stayed there. OUR TYSON (3) - inconvenienced briefly entering the back straight and lost momentum. CAWBOURNE TAYLOR (5) - tightened between runners after the start and settled back but made up ground to finish 3rd. BIGTIME KISS (6) - briefly inconvenienced into the back straight and lost momentum. Awkwardly positioned on final bend and lost her position and stayed back to finish last.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	IDOL NIFTY (1) - crowded after the start and settled back and stayed there. MISS CLAUDE (2) - tightened after the start and lost ground but ran on well to finish 2nd. SCOOTER'S ROSE (3) - slow to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout. HYPOCRITICAL (4) - crowded after the start and settled back and stayed there. CAWBOURNE MEZZA (5) - crowded and inconvenienced after the start but recovered and went on to win. BUTTERBALL (9/6) - shifted in after the start and dictated several other runners in which resulted in them being inconvenienced.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 520	BIGTIME HANNAH (2) - handy enough on the first bend but was galloped on and severely checked losing several lengths. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. IDOL ALAN (4) - was in contact on the first bend and lost several lengths and all chance and finished 2nd last. TUFF KNIGHT (6) - checked on the first bend losing several lengths and all chance and finished in 6th place.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	ALAMEIN PANDA (2) - was bumped after the start and then drifted to eventually finish several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain. CAWBOURNE CHEZZY (6) - raced wide over extra ground on the bend and stayed well back to finish 2nd last. CAWBOURNE MOSS (7) - began awkwardly and settled back but made up ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 520	COSSIE COOPER (5) - was tightened between runners after the start and settled back but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. CAWBOURNE PALMER (8) - was the slowest to begin and he stayed well back throughout to finish in the rear group.
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C4 - C4 - 305	OPAWA LYON (3) - severely checked when forced over extra ground into the bend and finished in 2nd last place. JINJA LOREN (4) - was severely checked when forced very wide into the bend and stayed back to finish 6th. DARK SYRAH (5) - was crowded and unbalanced into the bend and shifted out abruptly forcing other runners very wide and losing all chance. BIGTIME ROLL (6) - began awkwardly and settled back but ran on for 3rd place. MIKACHU (7) - slow away from the start and settled back.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	ALL BLACK STAR (1) - crowded into first turn and briefly unbalanced. Drifted on final bend and finished several lengths last and referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. ROMAN NOSE ZARR (2) - settled at the rear and stayed well back throughout the race. ALLEN MACK (7) - settled well back from the start and stayed there for the remainder. GRAY BALE (8) - was referred to the Vet and found to have rib and gracilis pain with a 7 day stand down.
Race 11	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C3 - C3 - 305	MIDSOMER MAGIC (4) - slow to begin and stayed well back throughout. DOOSH (5) - led from the start but was checked from behind into the bend and went back to the rear finishing several lengths last. Referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. RUNNING FREER (7) - slow away from the start but made up ground well to finish 3rd.
Race 12	HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE NEW YEAR C3 - C3 - 305	BREED APART (1) - shifted out after the start and jostled for some distance losing ground and she stayed well back for the remainder. KING'S CALL (2) - collided after the start and jostled losing ground and stayed well back. MISSING ALLEGRO (3) - began awkwardly and jostled for a short distance and settled back where she stayed. THREE AMIGOS (4) - shifted in after the start crowded inside runners for a short distance. ZARA ZARA (5) - jostled for a short distance going to the first turn and was briefly inconvenienced.
