Track: Good With intermittent rain falling during the last half of the meeting the track remained in a very good racing order being well maintained. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Supplementary from Wanganui Greyhounds on 19-12-2018 - EYE FAR #3 race 14 stood down rule 55.1b was re presented to the vet under rule 55.4 & 5 was found to have injuries requiring a 28 day stand down with the ( failing to pursue ) endorsement cancelled replaced with the recommended stand down and the dog to complete a satisfactory trial .
ZARA JINX N Udy completed a satisfactory trial in Blinkers and cleared to race.
BLAZIN' SAVANNAH and BLAZIN' AUDREY ( L Cole ) both completed satisfactory trials and are cleared to race when stand down periods clear.
GAZZA' GIRL ( G & S Fredrickson ) completed a satisfactory trail in Blinkers and is now cleared to race.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C3 - C3 - 520	CAWBOURNE RIDGE (2) - hampered for several strides on the home turn when racing midfield on the inner. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (4) - bumped and hampered shortly after the start checked and stumbled losing momentum first bend angled inwards on the home turn contacting a runner. THRILLING EDDIE (5) - bumped and hampered shortly after the start - hampered again racing in to the far bend when racing towards the rear. ZIPPING COBRA (7) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to her inner for several strides.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	ZOE JEAN (5) - raced widest in to and around the bend and to the line. TOKEN VIKKERS (6) - bumped at the start and was hampered when angling inwards across heels- hampered in to the bend for several strides. MANIMAL (7) - coming off the mats contacted runner to his inner and stumbled for a stride losing momentum.
Race 3	J P PRINT PETONE C4 - C4 - 520	BIGTIME ACACIA referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. SUB EIGHTEEN (1) - contacted soon after the start. BIGTIME MIA (2) - contacted soon after the start and was checked back. BIGTIME ACACIA (3) - contacted on jumping away was then checked back losing momentum severely checked in to the first bend when contacting hind quarters losing momentum and all chance thereafter RAPPER TILLY (4) - angled across from the jump hampering runners to her inner hampered for a few strides racing in to the first bend contacted from behind and ran wide BIGTIME WENDLE (6) - moved ground outwards in to the home straight hampering. BIGTIME CALEB (7) - when improving between runners was dictated out hampered runner to his inner for several strides in the run to the line. ROMAN NOSE ZARR (8) - checked in to the bend off heels soon after checked from behind losing momentum and ground settled back made good ground to the home turn finished stongly in the run to the line.
Race 4	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305	MISSING ALLEGRO (1) - midfield in tight quarters racing in to the bend angled out over and catching heels losing several lengths . RUNNING FREER (3) - dictated inwards for several strides on the home turn when improving. BIGTIME PETE (6) - fav- went up with the lids and scrambled losing ground improved along the inner nearing the home turn finishing well. DOOSH (7) - hampered when tightened for several strides racing in to the home straight.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	PODIUM PHOBIA (1) - dwelt and was slow away. BIGTIME CHARLIE (2) - awkwardly away settled back was unable to improve. NO TIME TOULOUSE (4) - hampered for some strides in the run to the bend. BIGTIME EVE (5) - attempted to angle in hampering inside runner for some strides in the run to the bend. HYPOCRITICAL (6) - came out over heels in to the bend hampering runner to his inner. BIGTIME BLACKIE (8) - ran wide in to the bend when avoiding heels
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C2 Ht1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1	BIGTIME LIAM was referred to the vet and was found to have small wounds on hind paws no stand down was imposed. BIGTIME ON TRACK referred to the vet and was found to have pain flexion of right wrist. HE'S A SHARKIE (4) - clipped from behind in the run to the first bend when leading was clipped again in the run around the first bend hampering him for a couple of strides. BIGTIME LIAM (6) - bumped and jostled for some distance in to the first bend contacted again soon after lost momentum back to the rear finishing towards the rear at the line was referred to the vet JAY MIKE (7) - contacted hind quarters and was checked racing in to the first bend stumbling for a stride. BIGTIME ON TRACK (8) - contacted hind quarters and went in to the body of the field and was jostled racing in to the first bend and came back off heels losing momentum and ground was clipped from behind near the home turn finished in the rear at the line was referred to the vet
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 Ht2 - C2q - 520 Heat 2	OPAWA DENISE (2) - angled out across heels in the run to the first bend was checked in to the bend losing momentum CAWBOURNE FOXY (3) - angled outwards in to the bend and was contacted and unbalanced for a stride or so losing momentum and was unable to get back in to contention CAWBOURNE TAYLOR (8) - flushed wide in to the first bend -held up across the top bend and forced to checkoff and over heels losing a couple of lengths finished on strongly in the latter stages.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 Ht3 - C2q - 520 Heat 3	STORMY JAY referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. HOT MAYHEM (1) - ran outwards between runners soon after the start -checked outwards again when racing handy in to the first bend. STORMY JAY (2) - fav- handy in to the first bend drifted back towards the rear by the far bend finishing towards the rear at the line was referred to the vet BIGTIME MONTY (3) - checked and stumbled for a stride in to the bend when catching heels. CAWBOURNE CHOPS (4) - checked soon after the start when crossed by runner ahead. OPAWA MINE (5) - checked soon after the start when crossed.
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C4 - C4 - 305	OSKITZ (5) - slow to begin. BIGTIME LUCY (7) - bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide final bend. BIGTIME BASHER (8) - bumped shortly after the start.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME ONFIRE (2) - hampered for a couple of strides when tightened in to the first bend going back a length or so TUNA SPEED (4) - bumped and jostled in the run in to the bend and was checked when coming back off heels. BIGTIME LILY (5) - hampered racing in to the first bend when contacted from behind. GRAY BALE (6) - came together with runner to his inner in the run around the first bend. JINJA FLASH (7) - dwelt and was last in to stride came together with runner to her outer in the run around the first bend . NATURE'S GENT (8) - contacted runner to his inner and was checked himself as he attempted to angle across racing in to the first bend
Race 11	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C3 FINAL - C3f - 305	GO ASH was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. GO ASH (2) - tightened inwards and made contact with the rail racing in to the bend and was referred to the vet CAWBOURNE CRUZ (4) - awkwardly away angled inwards in to the bend tightening and hampering runner to his inner, raced wide in to the home bend and to the line. BIGTIME ROLL (7) - went up with the lids became awkwardly placed and came back of heels in to the bend losing several lengths and was unable to get back in to contention. BIGTIME MIKE (8) - awkwardly placed between runners racing in to the bend and was forced to race wide covering extra ground when attempting to improve around the bend.
Race 12	HAVE A SAFE AND MERRY CHRISTMAS C4 FINAL - C4f - 305	DARK SYRAH (2) - hampered for a couple of strides on the home turn when tightened inwards. OPAWA LYON (3) - collided with widest runner in the run across the top bend losing momentum. angled inwards and hampered runner to his inner on the home turn. POLLY THE DOLLY (5) - was improving along the inner when hampered on the home turn and was forced to check out over heels as runners came back on her she lost momentum AL'S APPRENTICE (6) - dwelt at the jump came out off heels on the top bend contacting runner to his outer. BIGTIME AUTUMN (8) - collided with runner to her inner in the run across the top bend losing momentum
