Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT :

CGRC - 7th December 2018 - Race 10 - Trainer L Waretini advised Stewards that PLATONIC AFFAIR had pulled up with a shoulder muscle injury subsequent to this race and is now spelling in preparation for a new campaign.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

1). Trainer R Wales was fined the sum of $150.00 under GRNZ Rule 40.3 and his Greyhound OUR RICK was stood down for 28 days under GRNZ Rule 40.4 after he permitted it to be drawn into the field at both the Christchurch GRC's and Otago GRC's meeting today.~~

2). BENDER TRUTH ( J Dunn) - completed its satisfactory trial and is now permitted to be nominated to race.~~

3). All available films may be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

Jostled with inside runner rounding the bend. JINJA CODY (3) - began awkwardly settling last. Jostled with outside runner rounding the bend. ANOTHER COLD ONE (5) - placed on heels early stages. Checked off heels final straight. ROCK BOTTOM (7) - hind quarters contacted from inside early stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance of this greyhound the connections advised it had benefited from a recent spell and drop down in grade and that the Dog had been trialing well in preparation to today's engagement. NUCLEAR JEWEL (8) - contacted from inside exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH BAILEY (10/4) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 2	Murray Wigley @ Ray White Ph021480250 Stakes - C1 - 520	JIN JIN (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the back straight having to steady. MAMMA ROSE (4) - boxed first. Checked outwards off heels entering the first bend shifting up the track. GOLDSTAR MAJOR (6) - forced up the track first bend. GALWAY GAL (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages.
Race 3	Clarkson's Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	Due to a technical error there is no photo finish available for this race. EPIC BOOM (3) - subjected to a post-race Veterinary examination after becoming placed on the running rail at the lure and cleared of injury. OKUKU MISTRESS (5) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend. Checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. CISCO REIGN (6) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend. VENETIA (7) - contacted form the outside early stages.
Race 4	Happy Birthday Riley Evans Sprint - C1 - 295	WHITE NOT WONG (1) - made slight contact with outside runner rounding the bend. KOROIBETE (2) - jostled with outside runner prior to the bend losing momentum. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend before being bumped from the inside exiting it. LORD PROTECTOR (3) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend losing ground. Inconvenienced exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR LIBERTY (4) - boxed first. Jostled with inside runner prior to the bend. Checked from behind rounding the bend. Again checked exiting the bend. MITCHAM DOUG (5) - shifted up the track early stages. Hind quarters contacted entering the home straight. GOLDSTAR CHARGER (6) - racing line impeded early stages. Contacted the hind quarters of inside runner entering the home straight. OHOKA CARSEN (7) - racing line impeded early stages. Inconvenienced rounding the bend.
Race 5	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	ALLEN HADRIAN (1) - squeezed for racing room prior to the first bend losing ground. OPAWA LIGHT (3) - awkwardly placed on heels first bend and again entering back straight having to check for a stride. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering final bend losing momentum. GO MUFASA (5) - checked entering final bend. PAM ARISING (6) - slow early. Placed in restricted room entering final bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR ALASKA (8) - slow early.
Race 6	Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	BOMBINATE (1) - slow early. EVERY MINUTE (6) - checked from behind rounding the bend. GOLDSTAR SPOTTY (7) - contacted from the inside on jumping. Obliged to check inwards off heels shortly afterwards. KING KALI (8) - came inwards at the jump contacting inside runner. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend having to steady stride. KNOW LOGIC (9/5) - shifted up the track through the early stages impeded outside greyhounds.
Race 7	Islington Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH BANKER (1) - contacted from the outside early stages. RIGHT ON TIME (2) - racing line impeded early stages. BLACK ROUNDER (3) - lost ground prior to the bend when awkwardly placed to the outside of runner. WONG BOX (4) - shifted down the track early stages making contact with inside runner. Awkwardly placed thereafter losing ground. GOLDSTAR DIESEL (5) - checked from behind in the run to the bend. DIME DIVA (7) - awkwardly placed on heels in the run to the bend losing balance for stride.
Race 8	Crate & Barrel Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	CULVIE CHAIRMAN (1) - slow early before being awkwardly placed on heels shifting up the track. OHOKA MAGIC (3) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and obliged to shift outwards off heels entering the home straight. HOLLY GRACE (6) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend shifting up the track inconveniencing outside runner. MR BLACK MAGIC (7) - slow early. Checked and forced up the track rounding the bend.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C1 - 520	GEM (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend shift outwards checking runners. GOLDSTAR CHIEF (2) - squeezed for racing room in the to the first bend before having to check off heels. Checked entering the first bend. JEALOUS AFFAIR (3) - bumped with inside greyhound in the run to the first bend. CHAT YA LATER (4) - checked entering the first bend. SMASH REBEL (5) - checked entering the first bend. SOZIN'S EMPEROR (6) - checked entering the first bend. SEFTON JILL (9/7) - considerably slow to leave the boxes.
Race 10	Kaikanui Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR MIKA (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and had to steady for several strides making contact with the running rail. Stood down for 10 days with a laceration to lift stifle which required staples. JUSTIN RYAN (2) - awkwardly placed entering the bend losing momentum. MEMPHIS JEWEL (5) - awkwardly placed entering the bend losing momentum. Contacted from behind rounding the bend. STEP INSIDE LOVE (7) - awkwardly placed rounding the bend. CAMSIDE ROSE (8) - ran wide rounding the bend.
Race 11	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Stakes - C1 - 520	JINJA MURPHY (1) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with outside runner. BLUE SKY (2) - squeezed for room early stages. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (3) - squeezed for room early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels first bend. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (4) - bumped from the inside in the run to the first bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend and had to steady. TIKAO JACKIE (5) - ran wide first bend and again down the back straight. Bumped with inside runner exiting the final bend. EYREWELL BENTLEY (8) - checked from behind entering the first bend. Bumped with outside runner exiting the final bend.
Race 12	Springston Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	MAGIC TRACEY (1) - When questioned regarding the improved performance of this bitch, Kennel representative P Seque advised it had benefited from drawing box one. GOLDSTAR POWER (2) - jostled with outside greyhound through the first half of the bend. RION KING (3) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend and had to check. Contacted outside runner rounding the bend. NIPPAOFSAMBUCCA (4) - jostled with inside greyhound through the first half of the bend. DISTINCTIVE MISS (5) - slow early. Shifted outwards off heels rounding the bend. Faltered in its gait shortly afterwards and lost all chance. Subjected to a post-race Veterinary examination and found to have fractured its right hock and was humanly euthanised as a consequence. NATURAL ECHO (6) - impeded early stages losing ground. OKUKU MAREE (7) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and lost momentum. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR HURLEY (8) - lost momentum when contacted from the inside rounding the bend. Checked from behind exiting the bend,
Race 13	Livamol Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR BINDI (3) - awkwardly placed prior to the bend losing momentum. WILDEBEEST (6) - contacted slightly from the outside early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the bend running wide through the home straight. SNICKERDOODLE (7) - slow early making slight contact with inside runner.
