Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout the programe . All other equipment operated well.

Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Under the auspices of rule ( 11.1b ) the Stewards reviewed the racing manners of ( BLAZIN' AUDREY ) during the running of race 10 at the Wanganui Greyhound Racing Club meeting on the 7-9-2018.
BLAZIN' AUDREY marred the running of another runner on the home turn and has now been stood down rule ( 55.1a ) marring with a 28 day stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
BLAZIN' AUDREY has had a previous stand down for marring in Australia on the 22-6-2017 and since completing a Satisfactory trial had raced 23 times in Australia and New Zealand without transgressing the rules.
The representative for the Cole kennels made submissions to the Stewards regarding the endorsement in Australia - in that the Kennels were not aware of the stand down when the dog was imported as no information was forwarded to them or the Stewards.
The Stewards have accepted the submission that had the kennels been made aware of the stand down they would have applied under rule ( 55 .7 ) to have the endorsement cancelled on the completion of 10 clear runs- which would have cleared the first endorsement off the dogs record.
The Stewards after making enquires are satisfied that the kennels have applied in recent times for cancellation of endorsements and the stand down now imposed is treated as a ( 1st offence ).
The Cole kennels applied to the Stewards to cancel the endorsement rule ( 55.7 ) on the papers of DJAY DYNAMIX as this dog has completed the required 10 clear runs- this is the first application under this rule.
The Turnwald kennels applied to the Stewards to cancel the endorsement rule ( 55.7 ) on the papers of IRIS ALLEN as this dog has completed the required 10 clear runs.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH FLUTEY referred to the vet and was found to have pain on flexion of left hock a 14 day stand down was recommended. QUEEN KONG (3) - angled out off heels and was bumped hard out on to wider runner and lost momentum and all chance. HOMEBUSH FLUTEY (6) - forced wide in to the bend and was bumped hard losing balance and all chance finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet SET THE LIMIT (7) - unbalanced racing in to the bend for several strides. NGAKAWAU (8) - angled across to the rail racing in to the bend -soon after angled outwards sharply bumping hard in to runner to his outer
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 Ht1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1	CHEESE AND CHALK referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. N Udy was reminded to close the lids quicker when boxing dogs away in the future. BUDDY LOADED (2) - slow away improved quickly in to the bend on the first occasion running in to and over hindquarters of runner ahead- recovered quickly back in to stride to settle midfield for the remainder of the race. CHEESE AND CHALK (5) - fav- angled across tightening and jostling with runners to his inner racing in to the bend on the first occasion when crossing towards the lead -soon after was galloped on and badly checked losing momentum and ground back towards the rear was unable to improve thereafter was referred to the vet. CAWBOURNE SYMSY (8) - went up with the lids slightly and was awkwardly away for a stride or so
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 HT2 - C2q - 520 Heat 2	THRILLING EDDIE was a late scratching before arriving to the track reported to have suffered a laceration to the near fore.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C2 HT3 - C2q - 520 Heat 3	DYNA BOOMER referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found . DREAM KAY (2) - jostled and hampered for several strides in the run to the bend on the first occasion- moved inwards tightening runner to her inner for several strides nearing the home turn. CAWBOURNE RIDGE (3) - tightened and jostled back in the run to the bend on the first occasion. ALLEN MACK (4) - bumped and jostled for some distance in the run in to the bend on the first occasion. ALL BLACK STAR (5) - tightened back from between runners soon after the start - was able to improve between runners racing in to the bend on the first occasion. FARE DODGER (6) - tightened and jostled between runners for some distance in the run to the bend on the first occasion. DYNA BOOMER (7) - jostled slightly for some strides in the run to the bend on the first occasion -dropped back to the rear and was unable to improve thereafter was referred to the vet. TIPPERARY MEL (8) - tightened for several strides on the inner nearing the home turn.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	JINJA LOREN (3) - began awkwardly went sideways off the mat of her own accord SIR DUGGIE (6) - fav- only fairly away - checked losing position -angled inwards midfield racing in to the bend attempted to make ground around runners was unable to make ground in the run to the line. BIGTIME VICTORY (7) - tightened between runners and checked back soon after the start was unable to improve thereafter. KING'S CALL (9/5) - ran outwards from the jump checking runner in behind and bumping with runner to his outer - ran in to tight quarters and lost momentum racing in to the bend
Race 6	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 520	GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (1) - was tightened and checked in to the far bend when looking to improve losing momentum and ground. MILLIE PRINCE (4) - slow and wide racing in to the bend on the first occasion- raced wide making good ground thereafter finishing on in the run to the line. RUMORS (5) - hampered between runners for several strides racing in to the bend - tightened and checked back when attempting to improve along the inner entering the far bend losing momentum and ground. ARGUS FILCH (6) - improving in to the far bend angled in tightening runners to his inner for several strides DON'T KNOCKA GEE (8) - hampered in racing around the bend on the first occasion losing ground in the run to the back- made ground around runners in the run across the top bend.
Race 7	FIRST SECURITY C2 FINAL - C2f - 305	RENEGADE COMET (3) - settled midfield was unable to improve forward. CAWBOURNE BRANDY (6) - bumped and hampered going back a length or so racing in to the bend soon after bumped with runner to his outer. RETAIL MAYHEM (10/8) - forced to race widest in to the bend where she bumped with runner to her inner losing ground.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 520	CLOVER BUBBA referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. BIGTIME MIKE (3) - went up with the lids and was awkwardly away -settled back hampered for a stride or so in to the bend on the first occasion was unable to improve thereafter. CLOVER BUBBA (4) - Raced towards the rear throughout was referred to the vet BIGTIME ZACK (5) - checked out over heels racing around the bend on the first occasion losing a couple of lengths IT'S A THREAT (8) - handy on the home turn -came out over heels moved ground in the run to the line.
Race 9	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES DECEMBER C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME DOUG (2) - dwelt at the jump -hampered and tightened for room when looking to improve racing in to the bend MISSING ALLEGRO (3) - hampered when pushed sideways for some strides in the run to the bend SOZIN'S NOIR (4) - hampered for some distance when contacted in the hindquarters in the run to the bend HIP HOP RAPPER (7) - tightened and checked losing momentum and ground back to the rear in the run in to the bend IVANHOV (8) - hampered for some strides when angling across contacting hindquarters racing in to the bend IDOL HOT (9/1) - fav- slowest away settled back -unable to find clear room to improve in to the bend -made ground from the home bend to the line.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	ALL ABOUT SPACE (2) - tightened and checked losing momentum and ground as improving runner angled down to the rail racing in to the back straight- was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. WAITOHI (3) - away well in the initial stages - tightened racing in to the bend on the first occasion -soon after was jostled and checked back from between runners losing ground back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. IDOL TOM (6) - last away -hampered soon after as runner angled outwards across his line - last in to the first bend attempted to rail up along the inner was checked losing momentum and ground- made good ground in to the far bend to finish on. BIGTIME ONFIRE (8) - hampered for some strides when attempting to angle across to the rail racing to the bend on the first occasion
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305	DOOSH (5) - began awkwardly for a couple of strides THUNDERATION (6) - ran outwards from the jump bumping in to runner to her outer then jostled for a stride or so settled midfield . NIPPA-A-SPOT (7) - bumped coming off the mats -then raced widest in to and across the top bend.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	BIGTIME OTTEY (1) - fav- dwelt slightly settled in behind the speed NIPPA EEL (2) - ran outwards racing in to the bend checking outwards bumping with runner to his outer BIGTIME SPARK (4) - tightened and checked back from between runners soon after the start POLLY THE DOLLY (5) - bumped and checked running wide in to and across the top bend - checked again when wide out near the home bend. BACON MY HEART (6) - Racing handy on to the top bend when tightened and checked losing ground for several strides recovered well to finish on. MAHALA BAY (8) - angled across to the lead racing to the bend -was checked as wider runner angled inwards checking her and was checked and unbalanced for a couple of strides and lost ground finished on in the run to the line.
