Track: Good After heavy rain leading up to the meeting the track improved from dead going to good midway through the meeting. all other equipment operated well.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ALAMEIN SIMBA completed a satisfactory trial wearing blinkers and is now clear to wear them when racing in future. TROJAN HOARSE completed a satisfactory trial which was required under Rule 38.9. BIGTIME BUCKO was up in weight by 1.8 kilograms from his last start weight on 28.05.18 and this was an intentional increase. THRILLING EDDIE was a late scratching from Race 3 due to a toenail injury.
Race 3 start was delayed for 2 minutes for further track preparation -race 4 was put back 4 minutes -the rest of the programme went on time.

BIGTIME IVO (5) - checked and fell going into the bend but quickly on his feet to finish the race. Referred to the Vet and
KAYTEE GIBBS (7) - tightened between runners into the bend and was shuffled back to the rear and stayed back.
HOMEBUSH SHEA (9/6) - tightened between runners going to the first turn and was checked back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 2 WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305 BIGTIME KYLIE (1) - shifted out going to the first turn and caused crowding to runners further out.
BRAD BAXTER (3) - was tightened between runners after the start and got back where he stayed throughout the remainder.
SECRET INDY (4) - was in contact after the start and unbalanced. Crowded going to first turn and lost momentum briefly.
JERICHO WARRIOR (5) - in contact after the start and unbalanced and checked soon after and inconvenienced.
RETAIL MAYHEM (6) - jostled going to first turn and momentarily inconvenienced but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 3 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520 THRILLING EDDIE was a late scratching at pre race presentation a 14 day stand down was recommended for a torn toe nail This race was delayed for 2 minutes due to a request for the tractor to run the mat once more around. OITY ALLEN referred to the vet and was found to have a torn gracilis muscle right hind a 21 day stand down was recommended. GO SLICK referred to the vet was cleared of injury.
OITY ALLEN (5) - hampered racing in to the bend checked abruptly outwards over heels becoming unbalanced drifting out finished on to the lure and was referred to the vet
CAWBOURNE BRANDY (7) - raced widest in to and around the bend on the first occasion.
GO SLICK (8) - angled across racing in to the first bend and clipped from behind as a runner checked over his heels -he lost ground soon after finishing towards the rear and was referred to the vet
Race 4 J P PRINT PETONE C5 - C5 - 305 The new start time for this race was put forward 4 minutes due to a late start in race 3. BIGTIME VICTORY referred to the vet was found to have pain in the right quadriceps muscle a 5 day stand down was recommended.
AL'S APPRENTICE (2) - hampered for several strides racing in to the bend by a runner angling in across his racing line.
IDOL HOT (3) - began awkwardly for a stride or so -hampered for a few strides racing in to the bend- soon after ran out colliding with runners to her outer losing momentum and ground.
SMASH CHARGER (5) - hampered for some strides when bumped and jostled for several strides racing in to the bend.
BIGTIME LUCY (7) - hampered and jostled for several strides racing in to the bend as runner angled across from her outer
BIGTIME VICTORY (8) - angled across tightening runner to her inner for several strides racing in to the bend- soon after was checked back from between runners losing momentum and ground and finished in the rear at the line was referred to the vet.
Race 5 LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 520 BIGTIME MIKE (1) - bumped and jostled racing to the bend on the first occasion
GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (3) - was bumped and ran outwards racing in to the bend on the first occasion-settled midfield and widest unable to make ground thereafter
BIGTIME KATE (6) - settled midfield came back off heels racing in to the back straight unable to improve thereafter.
Race 6 AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305 PLAN STAN (2) - slow away -jostled and tightened for some strides resulting in forced to check and lose momentum racing in to the bend -was unable to improve thereafter.
UNO ELEVEN (3) - racing midfield when checked losing several lengths racing in to the bend.
BIGTIME HUNTER (4) - racing to the bend angled in across heels tightening and jostling runner to his inner for some strides was then hampered when tightened and checked racing in to the bend
BIGTIME CHAMP (6) - angled across sharply checking runners to his inner racing in to the bend.
Race 7 FIRST SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305 TOMMY THE JETT (1) - fav- slow away-settled last hampered and held up for a couple of strides racing to the bend -made ground across the top bend -ran wide nearing the home turn battled in the run to the line.
BIGTIME SPARK (2) - racing handy when tightened and jostled between runners and checked back -checked out over heels losing all chance thereafter.
ALAMEIN TANE (5) - racing handy when jostled and clipped from behind losing ground racing in to the bend then checked losing all chance
MITSUTA (6) - hampered and checked when catching hindquarters racing in to the bend losing ground.
Race 8 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3/4 - C3/4 - 520 BIGTIME BUCKO up 1.8 kgs today -first start for 3 months.
DYNA VERNON (4) - hampered for some strides when tightened for room racing to the bend on the first occasion.
BIGTIME BUCKO (5) - jostled and bumped for some strides losing momentum and coming back off heels racing in to the bend on the first occasion
BIGTIME LIAM (8) - checked when racing towards the rear in to the bend on the first occasion.
Race 9 WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305 KIRKHAM JASPER (5) - raced towards the rear throughout.
SOZIN'S FORTUNE (7) - Dwelt at the start -raced widest in to and around the bend
Race 10 THE ROCK 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 520 DJAY DYNAMIX referred to the vet where no injuries were found - the Stewards reviewed the available footage of the race and there being no head on view racing in to the far bend it appears from the side on view contact with the rail was made - no further action taken.
BIGTIME TEARS (2) - tightened and jostled for several strides in the run in to the bend on the first occasion.
TYSON'S QUEST (4) - Angled across tightening runner to his inner for several strides racing in to the far bend.
IDOL TOM (5) - tightened racing in to the far bend -was able to keep his ground.
DJAY DYNAMIX (8) - bumped and hampered for a couple of strides racing in to the bend on the first occasion losing momentum and ground -he attempted to make ground in to the far bend where he angled in from the middle of the track and appeared to make contact with the rail becoming unbalanced for several strides- made ground to run past a beaten runner in the run to the line was referred to the vet
Race 11 HATRICK DASH C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 ALAMEIN LADY referred to the vet and was found to have a gracilis muscle injury to the off hind a 28 day stand down was recommended.
ALAMEIN LADY (2) - away well vying for the lead in the early stages- dropped back racing in to the bend when appearing to become unbalanced and finished in the rear at the line -was referred to the vet.
CAWBOURNE CHEZZY (3) - jostled soon after the start-became awkwardly placed racing in to the bend losing several lengths.
SO OVER IT (4) - bumped and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend- hampered and lost a couple of lengths recovered well to finish on.
BUTTERBALL (5) - tightened and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend resulting being checked back towards the rear and was unable to get back in to contention.
MISSING ALLEGRO (6) - soon after the start tightened and jostled for several strides and was checked back -recovered well to finish on
IT'S A THREAT (7) - bumped and pushed inwards soon after the start then caught heels when checked back losing momentum back to the rear -ran widest in to and around the bend .
Race 12 BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 KING'S CALL (1) - bumped and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend.
CAWBOURNE LIZ (2) - tightened and caught heels soon after the start -tightened again racing in to the bend losing ground back to the rear was unable to get back in to contention.
SEDGEBROOK BABE (3) - bumped and checked soon after the start -checked back towards the rear racing in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention
BIGTIME DOUG (6) - angled across between runners soon after the start and was bumped and jostled for some distance as they raced in to the bend.
