Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The Stewards had some concerns with the consistancy and accuracy of the scales during kenneling and the Club have arranged for a technician to check them over before Friday's meeting. LEO'S SON was a late scratching from Race 14 with a thigh muscle injury.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BANJO HOPE (1) - shifted out going to the first turn and crowded another runner briefly. LIBERTY BLUE (2) - checked early in the race and settled back and stayed there throughout. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (4) - began awkwardly losing ground and then checked off heels losing momentum
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 FINAL - C0f - 520	LADY JELLYBEAN (3) - shifted out into first bend and bumped another runner. DIAMOND GEEZER (4) - slow away from the boxes and lost ground but ran on to finish 4th. ZARA JINX (5) - slow to begin and was then bumped into first bend and stayed wide throughout the remainder. ARTHUR'S CROWN (9/7) - bumped into first bend and forced over extra ground and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 3	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 305	PONDER ROSA (3) - in contact into the bend and lost ground and stayed well back. PICK A PASCAL (4) - galloped on heels into the bend and lost ground but recovered to finish 4th. MISS WIGGLE (7) - raced wide into the bend over extra ground. SEDGEBROOK PRIDE (8) - was galloped on into the bend and lost momentum for a short distance. CAWBOURNE SKID (9/5) - slow to begin and settled back. In contact into the bend losing ground and stayed well back.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C0 - C0 - 520	LIZZY O'SHEA (6) - got back from the start and was then checked into the back straight and finished last. JETLAG JAG (7) - slow from the boxes and then wide over extra ground on first bend and stayed well back.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	ZOE JEAN (3) - forced wide into the bend over extra ground but ran on from there for 4th place. PODIUM PHOBIA (5) - was crowded from the start and got back but improved throughout to finish in 2nd place ZARA DAIKEN (6) - crowded and checked from the start and then shifted out into the bend and stayed well back. HOMEBUSH DEMI (7) - crowded from the start and got back and then forced wide into the bend and stayed back. CHAOS THEORY (8) - shifted across abruptly from the start and caused crowding to several other runners.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C0 - C0 - 520	BIGTIME BRIDGET (1) - checked over heels into the first bend and dictated other runners wide into the first bend. COOKIE BISCUIT (3) - slow from the boxes but made up ground to finish 2nd. SEFTON BREW (5) - forced wide into first bend . FIREFLY LAFFEY (6) - received an interrupted run into and around the first bend and got back where he stayed throughout. BIGTIME KIOWA (7) - forced wide over extra ground into the first bend and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	ZARA PETAL (1) - forced wide over extra ground into first bend. CAWBOURNE TODDY (4) - hampered briefly going into first turn. SPOT ON HEARTY (5) - checked into first turn and shifted out forcing other runners wide on the first bend. BIGTIME LONESTAR (6) - forced wide into first bend and stayed well back to finish 2nd last. CAWBOURNE LICK (7) - the slowest to begin and settled back but gradually made up ground to finish 4th. CHEESE AND CHALK (8) - shifted in going into first turn and was turned sideways but recovered to go on and win the race.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	KUSHKA (2) - shifted in making contact with the rail into the bend and was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. IDOL DUDE (3) - checked over heels into the bend and shifted out forcing other runners wide. HOMEBUSH BELLE (4) - tightened between runners from the start and lost momentum briefly but recovered to finish 4th. SWIFT LIBERTY (5) - forced wide into the bend and stayed back to finish last. BIGTIME DEAN (6) - slow from the start but made up ground well for 3rd place. COOL WOLF (7) - was forced over extra ground into the bend and stayed back for the remainder to finish 7th.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE SYMSY (3) - slowest to begin and settled back but made up ground to finish 4th. TIDDY CASH (4) - shifted out off heels into the first bend and forced other runners wide. OPAWA PLUM (7) - forced wide over ground into the first turn and stayed back for the remainder. SECRET AGENDA (9/8) - forced wide into the first turn and stayed well back to finish 7th. TOKEN VIKKERS (10/1) - checked into first turn. Began to drift in back straight and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet. Was found to have pectoral muscle bruising with a 14 days stand down.
Race 10	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	HARDAWAY CHIEF (4) - slow from the start and settled back. In contact and briefly unbalanced in home straight. HE'S A SHARKIE (6) - slow from the start and settled at the rear but finished very well for 3rd place. EIGHT OH THREE (7) - slow away from the start and stayed back throughout to finish 6th. CAPTAIN KATE (8) - in contact and was unbalanced for a short distance in the home straight.
Race 11	HATRICK STAKES C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE MUZZA (3) - checked off the heels of another runner after the start and lost momentum and stayed at the rear throughout. MISCHIEF VIKING (4) - checked from behind going to first turn and lost momentum briefly. GENTLEMAN TIM (6) - raced wide for a good part of the race and then finished very well for 2nd place.
Race 12	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1d - C1d - 645	CAWBOURNE TAYLOR (3) - shifted out from the start and contributed to tightening and a check. IRIS ALLEN (4) - slow away from the boxes and was then tightened between runners and got back where she stayed throughout. BIGTIME CHLOE (5) - contributed to tightening at the start and also hampered and settled back.
Race 13	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES HERE IN DECEMBER C1 - C1 - 520	JINJA FLASH (3) - slow to begin and settled back but ran on for 3rd place. BORN FAB (4) - slow away and was then bumped into the first turn. Drifted on the final bend and finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and cleared. JAY MIKE (6) - checked on the bend and forced wide over ground and stayed well back.
Race 14	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	LUCHA (1) - was in contact into the bend and lost momentum and stayed back for the remainder. CAWBOURNE MACK (4) - in contact going into the bend and inconvenienced briefly. WATCH MY BACK (6) - hampered at the start and lost ground. In contact into the bend and lost momentum and stayed back. HURRICANE AL (7) - hampered into the bend and momentarily inconvenienced.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	KILLER FROST (4) - tightened between runners into the bend and went back to the rear and stayed well back. EMPTY POCKET (5) - slow from the boxes and settled back. Ran wide on the bend and stayed back to finish last. OPAWA BUCKS (9/3) - Slow from the start and then raced wide into the bend over extra ground.
