Track: Good The track was described as dead but improved and was upgraded to good after race 4. The meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: WHIPPY BALE completed a satisfactory trial which was required under Rule 38.9 and is now cleared to race on completion of the stand down period originally imposed. NIPPA EEL was a late scratching from Race 9 due to sartorius muscle pain. BIGTIME LEVI was a late scratching from Race 10 due to suffering from a cut to a right front claw through the quick. DOOSH was a late scratching from Race 12 due to a left quadricep injury.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	CULVIE DEN (1) - jostled together in the race to the first turn and lost momentum and stayed well back. LET'S GO SPRITE (2) - in contact for some distance going to the first turn and lost momentum and stayed back to finish last. CAWBOURNE OWEN (4) - slow to begin and settled back where he stayed throughout. TYNECASTLE FLYER (7) - slow away from the boxes and got back early but ran on to finish 4th.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	GO RING (4) - one of slowest to begin and settled back. VICARIOUS (5) - also a little slow from the boxes and was the in contact into the back straight losing two lengths and stayed back. BIGTIME ON TRACK (7) - settled at the rear and stayed well back throughout. BIGTIME SAM (8) - in contact entering the back straight and was unbalanced losing momentum and stayed back to finish last.Referred to the Vet and found to have a wrist injury with a 21 day stand down.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C3 FINAL - C3f - 305	POLLY THE DOLLY (1) - began awkwardly losing ground and stayed back at the rear throughout JINJA LOREN (4) - hampered after the start and lost momentum. Checked over heels into the bend and stayed well back. KING'S CALL (5) - checked over heels on the bend and shifted out losing momentum and finished 2nd last. COSMIC ODETTE (6) - hampered when bumped after the start and got back but made up ground for 4th place BACON MY HEART (7) - shifted in and crowded other runners from the start.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C3 - C3 - 520	BIGTIME ACACIA (1) - crowded going into the first bend and was shuffled back to the rear but made up some ground to finish mid field. BIGTIME MIKE (3) - tightened and checked into the first bend and lost ground and stayed back for the remainder. CAWBOURNE RIDGE (4) - checked into the first bend when crowded from the outside and he never recovered.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	FRISKY GAMBLER (2) - was crowded going into the bend and went back to last and stayed there. BIGTIME LUCY (3) - crowded after the start and settled near the rear and stayed well back. SMASH CHARGER (4) - crowded from outside after the start and stayed well back to finish 7th. BIGTIME BLUE (5) - shifted in after the start and crowded inside runners. Continued to shift in and crowd inside runners.
Race 6	AON CPF C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	BIGTIME KAEA (1) - was hampered entering the final bend and lost momentum briefly. WHITE COMET (7) - was the slowest to begin and settled back where she stayed throughout the race.
Race 7	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 305	MANLY MONKEY (4) - was the slowest to begin and settled back but made up some ground for 5th place. Was referred to the Vet with suspected cramp and cleared. BANSHEE REEL (5) - in contact for some distance on the bend and into the home straight and lost momentum. BIGTIME EMJAY (7) - in contact and was inconvenienced going into the bend and stayed well back. BIGTIME HUNTER (8) - in contact for some distance on the bend and into the straight and was inconvenienced.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	OCEAN GAMBLER (4) - crowded and checked after the start and stayed well back for the remainder. OITY ALLEN (6) - tightened after the start and got back but made up some ground for 4th place. OPAWA DENISE (7) - crowded and dictated in after the start and inconvenienced. BIGTIME BUSTER (8) - shifted in after the start and crowded inside runners for a short distance.
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C4 - C4 - 305	MIKACHU (1) - jostled together after the start and lost momentum and stayed well back. MISSING ALLEGRO (2) - jostled and inconvenienced after the start and lost ground and she never recovered. CAWBOURNE CHEZZY (3) - involved in jostling after the start and was unbalanced losing momentum. Bumped again on the bend and stayed back.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME ONFIRE (2) - checked from behind and hampered briefly into the final bend. BIGTIME CALEB (5) - in contact after the start and lost momentum and stayed back throughout. BIGTIME BRUCIE (7) - bumped and was inconvenienced and settled back from the start and stayed back for the remainder. IDOL TOM (8) - slow away from the boxes and lost two lengths. Hampered into back straight but made up ground for 3rd place.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305	BIGTIME CONRAD (1) - began a little awkwardly losing ground. ALAMEIN STRYDA (6) - crowded from the start and settled back. Was in contact going to the first turn and was unbalanced and stayed back. THREE AMIGOS (7) - crowded from the start and lost momentum for a short distance. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (8) - in contact going to first turn and was briefly unbalanced.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	MITSUTA (1) - slow away from the boxes and stayed back throughout the race. OPAWA BEAR (3) - slow to begin and settled back where he stayed for the remainder to finish 5th. HOMEBUSH BAILEY (4) - slow to jump away and settled back and stayed back throughout.
