OPAWA DENISE (3) - Bumped into the first turn and unbalanced but recovered quickly to hold her place and finished in 2nd place. LUCKY JAMES (4) - Bumped and inconvenienced into the first corner but recovered quickly. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (6) - Was slow away and was then hampered and settled at the rear but made up ground well for 3rd place. BIGTIME ONFIRE (7) - Bumped and unbalanced briefly into first bend and stayed well back for the remainder. WORLD FREAKSHOW (8) - Began to lose ground into the back straight and finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and cleared.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 FINAL - C2f - 305	PLAN STAN (1) - Was the slowest to begin and settled back. In contact for some distance rounding the bend and was inconvenienced losing momentum and stayed well back. MITSUTA (3) - Was bumped after the start and settled back where he stayed throughout to finish 6th. ALAMEIN STRYDA (8) - Was in contact into the bend and was unbalanced and eventually checked losing several lengths and finished last. Was referred to the Vet and
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITIN C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	IDOL JAZZ (3) - Checked off the back of another runner into first bend and shifted out causing checks to two other runners and stayed well back. THRILLING STAN (4) - Bumped and pushed wide into the first bend and lost ground and stayed back at the rear. FOREVER AND EVER (6) - Checked from behind into the first bend and lost ground. BARGE BALE (8) - Bumped into the first turn and forced wide but recovered to run on for 3rd place.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305	BIGTIME CHAMP (6) - Bumped and lost momentum from the start and he settled back. In contact on home turn and unbalanced briefly. SPIRIT OF NATHAN (7) - Crowded from the outside at the start and settled back. ALAMEIN TANE (8) - Shifted in abruptly from the start and caused jostling to other runners which lost ground and settled back.
Race 5	WANGANUI TOYOTA C5 - C5 - 305	RAIN AND TEARS was referred to the Vet and found to have tricep and hip support pain with a ten day stand down. Was found to have failed to pursue the lure throughout and was subsequently stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. SCOOTER'S ROSE (4) - Was in contact over final few strides and briefly unbalanced. SMASH CHARGER (6) - Was slow away from the boxes losing three lengths. In contact over final few strides and narrowly beaten for 4th. SIR DUGGIE (7) - Was referred to the Vet and found to have myositis. RAIN AND TEARS (8) - Was bumped going to the first turn and was the observed to ease losing several lengths.
Race 6	NZ Breeders Stakes (Group 1) Heats - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	BIGTIME ZACK (3) - Slow to begin and settled back. Checked over heels into first turn and lost momentum and stayed back to finish last. Was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. BIGTIME BRUCIE (8) - Slow away from the boxes and got back where he stayed throughout to finish 2nd last.
Race 7	NZ Breeders Stakes (Group 1) Heats - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	BIGTIME LIAM (1) - Was crowded going into the first turn and was shuffled back to the rear where he stayed throughout the remainder. OPAWA ABBIE JOY (2) - Began awkwardly losing ground and stayed well back throughout to finish 2nd last.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 520	ME JANE (6) - Was in contact going into the back straight and lost ground. Recovered to make up ground and finished 4th. JINJA LOREN (7) - Was in contact entering the back straight and lost ground and stayed back for the remainder and finished in last place.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305	AL'S APPRENTICE (3) - Slow to begin losing two lengths but ran on to finish in 3rd place. BIGTIME GEORGE (7) - Was slow to begin and stayed back throughout to finish last.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	FAIR PIPPA (2) - Tightened after the start and was shuffled back to near the rear and stayed well back. BIGTIME JASON (3) - Tightened after the start and shuffled back to the rear. COSMIC ODETTE (4) - Crowded after the start and went back to the rear and stayed there throughout. CAVEMAN SAM (5) - Crowded after the start and went back to the rear and never recovered BIGTIME TALKER (6) - Dictated in after the start and settled back but did make up ground to finish 4th.
Race 11	HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEONIE C2 - C2 - 305	SCOTTA PIE (2) - Was checked into the first turn and lost ground BIGTIME SPARK (3) - Slow away from the boxes and stayed well back throughout. HOMEBUSH BELLE (6) - Was slow away from the boxes and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	ASTERIA (1) - Was slow away from the boxes losing three lengths. COCKNEY RIP OFF (3) - Jostled with another runner going to the first turn and lost momentum. BARN DOOR BILLY (5) - Jostled going to the first turn and was inconvenienced and lost ground. LUCHA (6) - Was bumped and unbalanced going into the bend and lost momentum and stayed back to finish last. ZOE JEAN (8) - Raced wide throughout covering extra ground but ran on quite well for 4th place.
