Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer B.Hunt was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 44.8 b when unable to present papers for EPIC SPARK in Race 3. CAWBOURNE CRUZ was a late scratching from Race 4 when he suffered from muzzle damage to his mouth in the kennels. Trainer L.Doody was fined $ 50.00 under Rule 44.8 b when unable to present the papers for CANNONBALL BOLT in Race 2 of the 2nd meeting. Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 19.7 when PARIS GLOBAL was accepted into two races on consecutive days. MANLY MONKEY has now completed 10 clear runs and the endorsement imposed under Rule 55.1 has been removed. JINJA FLASH in Race 7 of the 2nd meeting will now box 1st for the next few runs. MISCHIEF SEEKER and DJ DYNAMIX both completed satisfactory trials which were required under Rule 38.9 JANDEL MAN in Race 8 2nd meeting was down in weight by 1.5 kilograms and this was intentional.

SPOT ON HEARTY (5) - jostled after the start and inconvenienced but recovered to finish 3rd. BIGTIME EYORE (6) - in contact into the bend and briefly unbalanced but recovered to finish 2nd. FANTASTIC TEDDY (7) - checked approaching home straight and lost ground and stayed back at the rear. MISS WIGGLE (8) - in contact into the bend and was briefly unbalanced.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	KYLIE JEAN (4) - checked into first turn and lost ground. PONDER ROSA (5) - checked into first turn and almost fell and finished in last place. BLACKISH (6) - checked into first turn but recovered to go on and win. HURRICANE AL (8) - checked from behind on the bend and unbalanced but made up ground for 3rd place. HOMEBUSH ASHER (10/3) - checked over heels on the bend and lost momentum and stayed back.
Race 3	WANGANUI TOYOTA C0 HT3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	NIGHT HOWLER (2) - began awkwardly and stayed back throughout. LADY JELLYBEAN (5) - was in contact into the bend and inconvenienced for a short distance and stayed back. HE'S A SHARKIE (7) - began awkwardly losing ground but recovered to finish 4th. BIG CHILL (8) - shifted in going into the bend and was in contact. Made contact with the rail soon after losing several lengths and finished last. Was referred to the Vet and found to have bruising to the left side.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 520	BIGTIME DEAN (3) - was slow to leave the boxes and settled back. Was in contact into first turn and lost ground. LADY JELLYBEAN (5) - was in contact into first turn and lost momentum and stayed well back. Again in contact on home turn and inconvenienced briefly. KNOCK KNOCK MARY (6) - bumped and briefly unbalanced on home turn and finished last.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	The race was all clear.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	MISCHIEF VIKING (2) - was the slowest to begin and he stayed back throughout and finished several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and found to have lattisimus dorsi, and pectoral muscle pain. TRENDY MIND (10/1) - was checked entering the back straight losing three lengths but recovered to finish in 4th place.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	FISHING FOR LISA (3) - was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well for 4th place. CAWBOURNE SPREE (5) - Was crowded in the early stages and lost her position and went back to the rear and finished last.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	SNIPPY PIPPI (5) - raced onto heels on the bend and was checked losing ground and stayed well back. BIGTIME IVO (7) - was hampered going into the bend when avoiding heels and he was checked and stayed well back. BIGTIME PICKIT (8) - Was checked into the bend and fell but regained her feet and finished the race. Was referred to the Vet and found to have shoulder and thigh bruising.
Race 9	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 520	IDOL DUDE (3) - was checked entering the back straight and lost three lengths and stayed back for the remainder. LUCKY MICK (4) - had not raced for 4 months and appeared to tire over the final stages and finished at the rear.
Race 10	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	ROCKET JEWEL (3) - was crowded into the first turn and lost momentum. He then dropped back to finish the race several lengths last and was referred to the Vet and found to have a gracilis muscle injury. CAWBOURNE MACK (7) - checked over heels into the home straight and was inconvenienced briefly but ran on into 3rd place.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	DOUG DEEP (4) - was crowded after the start and checked back to last. HUNGRY MACHINE (5) - was awkwardly positioned between runners into the bend and was shuffled back to the rear and stayed well back for the remainder. LIL DIVA (6) - tightened going into the bend and went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 520	MILLY RIVERS (1) - slow to begin and settled back where she stayed throughout. BIGTIME BLOSSOM (4) - Was checked on the final bend and lost ground and stayed back to finish last. GRAY BALE (8) - Was slow from the boxes and settled back but gradually made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 13	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	CHOICE LASS (5) - raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. JANDEL MAN (9/6) - Was slow away from the boxes and settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 14	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME MACI (3) - was checked from behind on the bend and lost momentum briefly. CAWBOURNE LYNS (7) - Was hampered going into the bend and shifted out to race wide but kept up a strong run to finish in 4th place. ZARA ZARA (8) - Was inconvenienced when clipping heels with another runner on the bend and he lost momentum briefly.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	MINI MANSION (1) - was crowded into the first turn and was shuffled back losing ground. Was held up for some distance in the home straight when awkwardly positioned between runners. BIGTIME OLIVIA (7) - Stood in the boxes and lost several lengths and all chance and finished in last place.
