Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.

Judicial report: Trainer L Cole advised the Stewards that ( BIGTIME RISE ) a scratching in race 10 has been Retired.
Race 5 -1st qualifying heat ( C2) 520 m was declared a ( no race ) per rule 52.1 after a runner fell in the early stages and ran back towards the oncoming field on the home turn causing the Lure driver to have to pull the lure up.
2 runners from this heat were drawn by ballot for inclusion in the final field and 1 more for a reserve runner.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	UNO AGAIN ( 1 ) - tightened and jostled racing to the bend lost ground back to the rear attempted to improve wider out racing around the bend. BACON MY HEART ( 4 ) - bumped and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend losing momentum and ground -was unable to get back in to contention. was referred to the vet on returning to the kennel block with a laceration to the side of the face that had staples inserted a 7 day stand down was recommended. EL HEFE ( 5 ) - checked at the start and again soon after was jostled and checked back towards the rear in the run to the bend losing several lengths. TAKEAWAY ( 6 ) - angled across from the jump -was forced further across and severely checked racing in to the bend -soon after made contact with the rail losing momentum back to the rear losing all chance and was referred to the vet and was found to have a torn graclis muscle on the right side a 28 day stand down was recommended. NIPPA EeL ( 7 ) - bumped and checked on two occasions racing to the bend recovered well to finish on. LET'S GO SPRITE ( 8 ) - angled across the face of several runners and caused tightening and checks in the run to the bend.
Race 2	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2f - 305	ALAMEIN TANE ( 1 ) - ( fav ) bounded away from the handler and went a short distance when leaving kennel block pre race - checked by Vet and cleared to start. Slow away jostled and tightened in the run to the bend when attempting to improve finished towards the rear. CAWBOURNE OWEN ( 2 ) - missed the jump by several lengths -attempted to make ground widest around the top bend finished towards the rear . PIKOPIKO CONNER ( 3 ) - tightened and checked back from between runners in the run to the bend ran widest near home turn. OPAWA HARRY ( 4 ) - angled across soon after the start jostled with runner on his inner for several strides.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 520	CAWBOURNE WEB ( 1 ) - tightened and made contact with the rail racing in to the first turn -recovered to race handy finishing midfield at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. BIGTIME KYLIE ( 2 ) - from the jump attempted to angle outwards was pressured back in inwards and severely tightened and jostled racing to the first bend lost ground back to the rear and finished several lengths in the rear at the line was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. DYNA BOOMER ( 3 ) - stumbled coming off the mat settled back -hampered in to the first bend when looking to improve between runners AUDACIOUS ASSIN ( 5 ) - checked soon after the start - pushed out and raced widest around the first bend BIGTIME ONFIRE ( 7 ) - raced across soon after the start causing tightening and checks to several runners racing in to the first bend.
Race 4	AON CPF C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SCOOTER'S ROSE ( 1 ) - slow away improved and had to check off heels racing in to the bend- soon after forced to check out off heels racing wide and losing ground. WHO'S JOHN GALT ( 2 ) - soon after the start was bumped and jostled for some strides losing momentum back towards the rear was unable to get back in to contention. BIGTIME NARELLE ( 3 ) - fav - bumped and checked soon after the start -was then jostled and hampered for some distance when attempting to regain balance and improve forward made good ground when in the clear. IDOL HOT ( 4 ) - jostled racing in to the bend - was forced to check out off heels soon after losing ground. BIGTIME SUGAR ( 5 ) - from the jump raced across the face of several runners causing herself to be bumped and jostled for some distance in the run in to the bend. DAISY LARA ( 7 ) - checked racing in to the bend.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C2 Ht1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1	MIDSOMER MAGIC ( 8 ) - checked and fell racing in to the first bend - quickly recovered on to his paws and soon after turned and raced back up the home straight towards the field resulting in the lure driver having to pull the lure up early in the home straight -MIDSOMER MAGIC was referred to the vet and was found to have painin the off side deep pectoral muscle a 5 day stand down was recommended. All runners were vetted and cleared of abnormalities with the exception of the fallen runner.
Race 6	LASER PLUMBING C2 Ht2 - C2q - 520 Heat 2	CHASE ME APATCHE ( 3 ) - jumped away well -slight bump soon after -hampered for a couple of strides racing in to the first where he dropped back to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve thereafter finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right hind satorius, quadriceps & gracilis muscles a 7 day stand down recommended. EYE KNO ( 4 ) - racing in to the far bend came back off heels losing momentum and several lengths.
Race 7	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION AT HATRICK C2 Ht3 - C2q - 520 Heat 3	BIGTIME WILD ( 2 ) - dwelt at the start settled back - angled outwards racing in to the back straight catching heels becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides. ACCRA ( 5 ) - bumped and hampered for a couple of strides when racing handy around the first bend- checked and lost momentum racing in to the back straight was unable to get back in to contention. THRILLING STAN ( 6 ) - checked over heels racing in to the first bend racing wide losing ground.
Race 8	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BEAR INDA SQUARE ( 7 ) - began very awkwardly being last away by 8 or so lengths - he tacked on to the back of the field racing around the bend finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 755	TRANSLATOR (6 ) - fav - checked soon after the start settled back ran home strongly latter stages. NITEHAWK ROSE ( 7 ) - raced across from the jump checking runner on her inner.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2 FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	NATURE'S GENT ( 2 ) - racing in to the first bend ran out sharply to avoid heels bumping with runner on his outer -then hampered for some strides when unable to clear runner directly ahead. SPARE SOME TIME ( 4 ) - racing around the first bend ran in to the hind of runner on his outer when checking back off heels. BIGTIME PADDY ( 5 ) - fav- in the run to the first bend was jostled between runners - racing around the first bend was clipped from behind losing momentum and some ground - made good ground when in clear running to the line. BIGTIME EVE ( 7 ) - bumped hard racing in to the first bend lost ground back to the rear -attempted to make ground entering the far bend on the back runners faded in the run to the line and was referred to the vet and was found to be suffering from cramp no stand down was recommended on this ocassion.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME REDFOO ( 1 ) - checked and lost ground in the run to the bend settled midfield unable to make ground there after. BIGTIME CONRAD ( 2 ) - checked in to the bend checking abruptly out off heels losing momentum and almost catching the hind of runner ahead LOVER ( 3 ) - was hampered for several strides nearing the home turn when runner on his outer attempted to angle inwards further AL'S APPRENTICE ( 4 ) - vying for the lead nearing the home turn attempted to angle inwards and tightened and jostled runner on his inner for some strides. MIKACHU ( 7 ) - dwelt at the start and was last away by 5 lengths- attempted to make ground wide entering the bend catching the hind slightly of runner on his inner causing him to race wider on the top bend. POLLY CRACKER ( 8 ) - checked entering the bend as runner on her outer caught her hind momentarily causing her to become unbalanced for a couple of strides.
Race 12	J P PRINT PETONE C3 - C3 - 305	ON DA QUEST ( 1 ) - racing handy when tightened and checked losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend - he then checked outwards abruptly causing checks to himself and runners on his outer and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. BIGTIME RAPID ( 2 ) - racing handy to the bend and was dictated across the face of runner on her inner racing in to the bend. UNO ELEVEN ( 3 ) - checked and hampered as a runner came back racing in to the bend. HOMEBUSH MINNIE ( 6 ) - checked when forced widest racing in to the bend. SOZIN'S NOIR ( 9/5 ) - became awkwardly placed racing in to the bend came together with runner on his inner and ran in to the hind of runner ahead.
