Judicial report: AHUROA MAGIC complete a trial wearing blinkers and is cleared to race wearing that item of gear. I'M A VIKKER was a late scratching several minutes before start time when found to have exposed quicks when being prepared to race. ZARA ZARA was up in weight by 1.9 kilograms from his last start on 07.03.18. Trainer C.Morris was fined $50-00 under the provisions of Rule 47.2 when she failed to catch JINJA FLASH in Race 6 as arranged.

Bumped with another runner for some distance going to first turn and lost ground and stayed back. KNOCK KNOCK MARY (5) - Was checked after the start and settled back where she stayed. WHIPPY BALE (6) - Was tightened and lost momentum after start. AHUROA FLYER (8) - Bumped and unbalanced for a distance going to first turn and stayed back.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	SMILEY O'RILEY (2) - Was slow to begin and stayed back throughout. EMPTY POCKET (7) - Raced very wide into the straight over extra ground and finished 2nd last.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 520	BIGTIME NIBBLES (2) - Was checked into first turn losing three lengths but recovered to finish 5th. GO SHOW (4) - Began awkwardly losing four lengths but recovered to make up ground and win. BIGTIME BRIDGET (5) - Checked into final bend losing five lengths and stayed back. HE'S A SHARKIE (6) - Checked into first turn and stayed well back to finish 2nd last. TRENDY VAL (7) - Checked into first turn and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 FINAL - C0f - 305	BIGTIME DEAN (2) - Was slow from the start losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE ROB (3) - Tightened and checked into home straight and lost momentum. MANLY MONKEY (5) - Tightened and checked from the start and got back. Checked again into the bend and stayed back for remainder. BIGTIME CHARLIE (6) - Tightened and checked from the start but recovered to finish in 3rd place. BIGTIME WINTER (7) - shifted in from start and checked other runners. BIGTIME WINNIE (8) - Checked on the bend and went back to last and stayed there.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	BIGTIME JACK (7) - Was slow to begin and settled back but gradually improved and finished in 3rd place.
Race 6	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 HT2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	SLY CATH (4) - Referred to the Vet and found to have shoulder muscle pain. CAWBOURNE ZULU (7) - Was bumped and unbalanced into first turn and went back to last and finished 5th. Was referred to the Vet when observed to be sore and found to have a suspected foreleg fracture. JINJA FLASH (8) - Got back from the start but gradually made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 7	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	BARK MY WORDS (6) - Was checked going into the first bend and went back to a clear last and stayed there for the remainder.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	BIGTIME ALLDONE (1) - Was checked after the finish line and fell and was referred to the Vet and cleared. MISCHIEF VIKING (2) - Was checked after the start and got back where he stayed throughout the race.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 HT5 - C1q - 520 Heat 5	BIGTIME JACOB (2) - Checked into first turn and stayed back for remainder to finish 2nd last. SECRET AGENDA (5) - Checked into first turn and lost ground and stayed back. ZARA ZARA (7) - Checked into the first turn and unbalanced losing ground and stayed back to finish last.
Race 10	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	JUDGE ME JACKIE (2) - Was crowded into first turn and went back to rear and stayed there. LISSADELL BABE (3) - Tightened into first turn and shuffled back to the rear and never recovered. CAWBOURNE FROST (4) - Shifted in going into bend and tightened inside runners which were checked.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	BARN DOOR BILLY (6) - Was bumped and unbalanced going into the bend and lost momentum briefly. COOL WOLF (7) - Got back early in race and then raced wide over extra ground and finished last. OPAWA DENISE (8) - Was forced to race wide and was bumped into the bend and inconvenienced briefly.
Race 12	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	PIKO PIKO DAWN (7) - Went off stride going into the bend and drifted to eventually finish a distance last and was referred to the Vet and found to have tricep pain. PAT BELLA (8) - Was slow to begin losing four lengths and she stayed back to finish in 6th place.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	STOLE ME KEYS (3) - Was awkwardly positioned between runners into the bend and was shuffled back to near the rear but did recover to finish 5th. GO ASH (4) - Slow from the boxes losing three lengths but made up ground well to win. AZANDEI (5) - Was awkwardly placed into the bend and was shuffled back to last and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 14	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME KAEA (1) - Was slow from the start losing two lengths. SHADOW GIRL (4) - Was in contact into bend and lost momentum and stayed at the rear for remainder. OPAWA BUCKS (7) - Checked over heels into the bend and shifted out contacting another runner and was briefly inconvenienced.
