Track: Good The scales were out of order due to water getting into the electrics and were unable to be used during kenneling and will be thoroughly tested before the next meeting on 23.03.18. There was a breakdown with the lure wire prior to race 5 and this resulted in the meeting being put back 3 races while the problem was rectified.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CAPTAIN KATE in Race 3 was found to have turned in the box for the 2nd time in recent starts and under the provisions of Rule 48.13 has been stood down for 7 days and is required to undertake a box trial before next racing. NDORA which was stood down at P.N on 19.03.18 was represented under the provisions of Rule 56.5, was cleared of injury and the stand down was rescinded and NDORA is clear the race. HOMEBUSH RAZZ was a late scratching from Race 8 when found to have a swollen toe.

BIGTIME CLEVER (5) - Was crowded and lost ground into the first turn. Was again checked on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position and was referred to the Vet and stood down for 5 days with a leg injury. CAWBOURNE ROB (8) - Was slow away but made up ground to finish in 3rd place
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520	ALL BLACK STAR (2) - Was checked at the start and settled back. Was checked again into first turn losing several lengths and stayed well back. BIGTIME POLLY (5) - Checked into first turn and stayed back throughout the remainder to finish last. BIGTIME NIBBLES (7) - Checked into first turn losing several lengths and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 3	WANGANUI TOYOTA C0 - C0 - 305	STAR MECHANIC (2) - Was checked on the bend losing three lengths and stayed back for the remainder. CAPTAIN KATE (7) - Turned in the box and missed the start by several lengths and stayed at the rear throughout. Is required to undertake a box trial under the provisions of Rule 48.13 before next racing and as this was a 2nd offence under the rule, CAPTAIN KATE has been stood down for 7 days.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS DISTANCE FEATURE - C0d - 645	BIGTIME BRUCIE (5) - Was checked after the start and went back to last but gradually made up ground to be in the photo finish for dividend placings at the finish.
Race 5	J P PRINT PETONE C1 FINAL - C1f - 305	LUKE SKYWALKER (1) - Shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to other runners which lost ground. SNOW BALL CHANCE (3) - Was tightened between runners after the start and got back. Was forced very wide into the bend and lost ground. OPAWA BUCKS (6) - Forced very wide into the bend losing ground and stayed back to finish last. BIGTIME CHLOE (7) - Was checked going into the bend and lost four lengths. ROWDY RUBY (8) - Forced wide into the bend and stayed well back to finish 2nd last.
Race 6	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH SECRET (2) - Was slow to begin losing four lengths and stayed back throughout to finish last. SNIPPY PIPPI (3) - Began awkwardly losing ground but recovered quickly.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	CHAOS THEORY (2) - Was crowded and lost momentum going into the bend. DE BLONDE (4) - Was crowded from outside going to the first turn and lost momentum but recovered to go on and win. BEV'S NEW POINT (5) - Was tightened after the start and lost ground. GOING BANANAS (6) - Was also tightened between runners after the start and lost ground but ran on well for 3rd place. ALAMEIN LADY (7) - Shifted in going to the first turn and hampered several other runners.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME MIKE (3) - Was checked into te first turn and lost several lengths. MILLY RIVERS (4) - Was slow to begin and got back but did make up ground to finish in 5th place. WONG FULL ARREST (6) - Was badly checked into the first turn losing several lengths and stayed back for the remainder. OPAWA MINE (8) - Badly checked into the first turn and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 10	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE LOOKS (6) - Was bumped early in the race and settled at the rear. Checked over heels into the bend and ran wide and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	GENTLEMAN TIM (5) - Was the slowest to begin and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in last place. SECRET AGENDA (8) - Was also slow to begin and he raced a little wide for a big part of the race and finished in 7th place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE FROST (2) - lay in on another runner going to the first turn and checked that runner. WELLINGTON WIND (5) - Was checked back to the last into the bend and he stayed back at the rear for the remainder. BIGTIME KAEA (9/1) - Was hampered from the outside going to first corner and stayed back with the rear group for the remainder.
Race 13	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	AFRICAN VIOLET (1) - Was crowded on the bend and inconvenienced losing ground and stayed back at the rear. UMAGA RAMA (5) - was tightened after the start and shuffled back to the rear but did make up some ground over the final stages when in clear running.
Race 14	MAX REFRIGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	LITTLE TORNADO (3) - Was jostled going to first turn and checked back to the rear and she stayed back for the remainder. SMASH CHARGER (5) - Began awkwardly and settled back. TILLY'S SILLY (6) - Began awkwardly and settled back. Checked off heels into the bend and shifted out forcing another runner very wide over extra ground.
Race 15	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	MAGIC JEAN LASS (1) - was jostled for a distance on the bend and went back to near the rear and stayed there. JELANI (2) - Shifted out into the bend and caused crowding to other runners. JUST LIKE MA (4) - Was checked into the bend losing ground back to near the rear. CASUAL SLIPPER (6) - Was hampered going into the bend and forced wide and stayed well back. CAWBOURNE SANDY (8) - Forced wide into the bend over extra ground and stayed well back.
