Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1). OPAWA LAWSEY (R Wales) - was required to provide a urine sample for analysis after winning its qualifying trial.

2). STEEL THE GOLD (D Roberts) - was a late scratching at kenneling due to being In Season.

3). HOMEBUSH ELLIE (J McInerney) - was a late scratching upon retrieval from the kennels due to being found to be In Season.

4). FROSTY ACTION (S & B Evans) - was a late scratching at kenneling on Veterinary advice.

5). DUNK IT (B Dann) - escaped handler during stir ups and was cleared by the Veterinarian to race. When questioned in regards to this incident, Trainer B Dann explained the clip on the greyhounds lead had detached after it had gone through his legs. Given the circumstances and there being no consequential effects the matter was taken no further.

6). EPIC ROSE (McCOOK & Jopson) - stood down pending a satisfactory trial prior to any future nominations being accepted.

7). All available films will be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

Held up rounding the bend and had to again check off heels. COLERIDGE JIM (5) - boxed first. Began awkwardly. OHOKA TESS (7) - placed inside runner in restricted room rounding the bend.
Race 2	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C1 - 295	UNVERIFIED (1) - contacted by outside runner entering the bend. GOLDSTAR PO (2) - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. SWEET AS BRAD (6) - placed itself awkwardly to the shoulder of inside runner entering the bend and lost momentum. ZORBA THE GREEK (8) - boxed first.
Race 3	Happy Valentine's Day Stakes - C1 - 520	JEALOUS AFFAIR (1) - held up for racing room exiting the final bend. GO ANGEL (2) - squeezed for racing room early stages and had to check. Again squeezed for racing room entering the first bend. LORD PROTECTOR (3) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend and lost ground. SMASH REBEL (4) - squeezed for racing room entering final bend and had to steady losing ground. DYNA DAVE (5) - awkwardly placed on heels exiting first bend. ERYEWELL TURBO (6) - began awkwardly and settled last. Raced wide rounding the first bend.
Race 4	Crate & Barrel Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	SOZIN'S FORTUNE (1) - had to steady when awkwardly placed entering the bend. Obliged to check outwards rounding the bend losing momentum. EUROPE WHO (2) - ran up the track in the run to the bend dictating outside runner wide. ELORA (3) -boxed first. Dictated up the track in the run to the bend before being contacted from the outside. Checked and had to check outwards entering the bend. Forced up the track again rounding the bend. JINJA BILLY (5) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend. KALONGA (6) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend. OLIVER BLACK (7) - bumped with inside runner in the run to the bend. STU ON IT (8) - boxed first.
Race 5	Chris & Lisa Earl Stakes - C1 - 520	KELLY'S MY NAME (1) - bumped from the outside at the start. OPAWA AL (10/2) - jumped in at the start bumping with inside greyhound. Contacted from the outside entering the first bend. BLACK EYED BILL (3) - jostled with outside greyhound entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR SCOOBY (4) - awkwardly placed on heels for a stride entering the first bend before being squeezed for racing room. VELVET GIRL (5) - bumped with inside runner entering the first bend. JINJA MIGHT (6) - checked outwards off heels entering the first bend. Checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. Checked again entering final bend. TAKE BY STORM (7) - jostled with inside greyhound entering the first bend. VASTERBOTTENOST (8) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the first bend.
Race 6	Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295	MAGIC JANET LASS (3) -boxed first. FERAL KAIAKA (5) - slow to jump before checking outwards off heels. Again obliged to check off heels entering the bend. BUTTER FACE (7) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend losing momentum. BLACK DAN (8) - checked from behind entering the first bend losing ground.
Race 7	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR MILEY (2) - checked outwards entering the first bend making heavy contact with outside runner. FORZA (9/3) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend having to steady. Contacted heavily entering the first bend shifting up the track and bumping with outside runner. KNOW EQUAL (6) - boxed first. Contacted from the outside entering the first bend and forced up the track. OPAWA BUCKS EYE (7) - turned inwards prior to entering the first bend. OPAWA PURDIE (8) - contacted inside runner entering the first bend. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding final bend.
Race 8	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C1 - 295	WONG ANSWER (1) - boxed first. TIP THE BABE (2) - boxed first. Bumped with outside runner exiting the bend. CATHY MARIE (4) - checked from behind rounding the bend. Bumped with inside runner exiting the bend. ESTER ACTION (5) - placed in restricted room prior to the bend and had to steady. DOVE LOVE (7) -obliged to check outwards off heels early stages. Again checked off heels rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 9	My Bro Fabio Stakes - C1 - 520	EYREWELL TANGO (1) - had to steady when squeezed for room entering the bend shifting up the track climbing on heels. Severely bumped from both sides rounding the first bend losing its chance. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination which revealed a right shoulder strain with a 10 day stand down imposed. GOTCHA ROCKY (3) - placed in restricted room early stages losing ground. Checked rounding the first bend. KAY BOMB (5) - slow to jump. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend then severely checked losing its chance. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. RAYLENE (7) - dragged down entering the first bend before being contacted heavily between runners losing its chance. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR CHIEF (8) - checked rounding the first bend.
Race 10	Little Brown Jug Dash - C1 - 295	CUT THE RIBBONS (2) - boxed first. Began awkwardly. RION KING (3) - contacted form the outside early stages. Checked outwards off heels entering the bend losing ground. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination which revealed a fracture right front Dewclaw with a 14 day stand down imposed. COME SUNDAY (4) - came in at the start and bumped inside greyhound. HOMEBUSH IVANA (5) - checked off heels early stages before being bumped from both the inside and outside losing ground. Bumped from the outside rounding the bend. VERBENA (6) - squeezed for room in the run to the bend having to check and lose ground. Contacted from the outside rounding the bend. KNOW PANIC (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (8) - bumped with inside runner prior to the bend before being awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend and lost momentum.

Climbed on heels and lost momentum entering the final bend. ZARA ZARA (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend and lost momentum. Checked from behind entering final bend.
Race 12	Murray@Ray White Ph021480250 Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH JASPER (1) - placed in restricted room on the running rail rounding the bend losing ground. CEE ASH (2) - bumped from both sides early stages before being squeezed for racing room. Again squeezed for racing room rounding the bend losing ground. TALK SOON (3) - squeezed for racing room in the run to the bend CANNONBALL BOLT (4) - squeezed for racing room in the run to the bend losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and lost momentum. GOLDSTAR TU PAC (5) - boxed first. Checked in off heels early stages. Ran wide exiting the bend. SASS EM' UP (6) - boxed first. DUNK IT (7) - under went a pre race Veterinary examination at the boxes and cleared to start after escaping its handler. raced on the shoulder of outside runner rounding the bend. ROCKIN' ROBYN (8) - lost ground rounding the bend when racing hard on the shoulder of inside runner.
Race 13	Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	TERRA MONDO (1) - checked off heels rounding the bend. JUST JAMES (3) - bumped from the outside early stages. Checked off heels rounding the bend. JINJA MONGO (4) - bumped from the outside early stages. HOMEBUSH RILEY (5) - came down the track early stages checking inside greyhounds.
Race 14	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	EPIC ROSE (1) - shifted up the track entering the bend forcing outside greyhound up the track. Checked and lost ground rounding the bend losing its chance. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. Stewards spoke with co-trainer A McCook regarding the greyhounds racing conduct into the first bend. After hearing Mr McCook's explanation, viewing the racing pattern of the bitch in its previous starts which evidenced her tendency to run wide and viewing all available films it could not be established beyond reasonable doubt that EPIC ROSE had turned its head outwards free of any interference when shifting up the track and therefore Failed to Pursue the Lure. Stewards however deemed the performance on this occasion as unsatisfactory and stood the greyhound down to trial prior to any future nomination being accepted. FERAL WHANAU (2) - contacted form the outside and lost balance shortly after the start. KINGMAN (10/4) - checked inwards off heels shortly after the start contacting inside greyhound. Bumped with outside runner exiting the bend. POETIK (5) - checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. JOEY BAXTER (6) - forced up the track rounding the bend. ZARA DAIKEN (7) - JINJA CREAM FIZZ (8) - held up for racing room for a period rounding the bend before being bumped from the inside.
Race 15	Livamol Dash - C1 - 295	HATFIELD (3) - squeezed for racing room and had to check off heels entering the bend. MAGMA (4) - checked and fell to the track entering the bend. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. EPIC OWEN (6) - bumped from the outside prior to the bend. Squeezed for racing room prior to the bend. LEO'S SON (7) - bumped with inside greyhound prior to the bend. Shifted up the track avoiding falling runner entering the bend. SIERRA DELTA (8) - slow to jump. Inconvenienced by fallen runner entering the bend.
