| Race 2 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305 | BIGTIME STEVE (1) - Tightened and lost ground going into the bend. JERICHO WARRIOR (3) - Tightened going into the bend losing ground but recovered to finish 3rd. BLACKFORT DOWN (4) - Shifted in going into the bend and tightened three inside runners. Faltered on the bend when 2nd and finished several lengths behind the field and referred to the Vet and found to have a gracilis muscle injury. COOL WOLF (5) - Checked when sharing the lead into the bend and lost three lengths. Checked several strides further on and lost three lengths. HOMEBUSH BELLE (9/2) - Slow to begin and was then tightened into the first turn losing momentum. STAR MECHANIC (10/8) - Slow to begin and was then checked on the bend losing momentum and stayed back. |

BIGTIME KAEA (5) - Checked going to first turn but recovered to go on and win the race. IT'S ALL ME (6) - Slow to begin and settled back but did make up some ground for 5th place. SWIFT LIBERTY (8) - Checked over heels entering the home straight and lost momentum briefly. |

BIGTIME WILD (10/8) - Handy into the first turn but was checked losing momentum and went back several places. |
