Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1). IT'S A MUST (J & D Fahey) - completed a satisfactory trial after being stood down for Failing to Pursue the Lure at the Southland GRC's meeting on the 27th December 2017 and is now permitted to be nominated to race.

2). GOLDSTAR BRYTON (S & B Evans) - fined $100.00 for presented this greyhound up 2kg's from the weight recorded in its last race on the 9th January 2018.

3). HOMEBUSH INDI (J T McInerney) - was a late scratching after being found to be in season upon retrieval from the kennels.

All available films will be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

Inconvenienced rounding the bend. OLIVER BLACK (6) - inconvenienced rounding the bend. ROAD BLOCK (7) - boxed first. Slow early. Made heavy contact with the running rail entering the bend when awkwardly placed to the inside of runner losing all chance.. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE LEAHA (8) - slow early. Held up rounding the bend. Inconvenienced rounding the bend.
Race 2	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C1 - 520	BOSSY AFFAIR (1) - jostled with inside runner down the back straight before being squeezed and losing ground. KNOW LEAVE (2) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Had to steady when awkwardly placed to the inside of runner rounding final bend. ALLEN MACK (4) - jostled with outside runner down the back straight. RAYLENE (5) - began awkwardly before being bumped down the track. Raced shoulder to shoulder with outside greyhound entering first bend. GOLDSTAR LIBERTY (6) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Checked off heels rounding final bend. HOMEBUSH ELLIE (7) - bumped inside runner down the track early stages. Race shoulder to shoulder with inside greyhound entering the first bend. ZARA ZARA (8) - turned outwards entering the first bend.
Race 3	Glenbyre Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	COME SUNDAY (2) - checked outwards off heels early stages and continued to shift up the track thereafter. LEO'S SON (3) - had to steady entering the bend when awkward on heels. JINJA CODY (4) - came up with the lids and was slow to jump in consequence. Obliged to checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. SMASH DAMAGE (7) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend.
Race 4	A2C Asphalt 2 Concrete Ph 0800222583 Stakes - C1 - 520	GO ALL LIN (1) - ran wide throughout. ANDRE'S MAGIC (4) - inconvenienced first bend. SKITZER (5) - came up with the lids and was slow to jump in consequence. OPAWA PURDIE (6) - contacted from the inside early stages. DARLEK IAN (7) - boxed first. squeezed for racing room early stages. Bumped inside greyhound first bend.
Race 5	Spectator's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C1 - 295	OPAWA MINSTREL (1) - had to steady when placed in restricted room between runners and the running rail entering the bend. GOLDSTAR SAWYER (2) - climbed on heels entering the bend and lost momentum. HOMEBUSH HUNDY (5) - had to steady when awkwardly placed between runners rounding the bend. SCISSOR CLIP (6) - dragged down entering the bend. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and cleared of injury.

Race 8	Flair Inc. Sprint - C1 - 295	JUST JAMES (3) - placed in tight quarters and had to checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. NICKY BAXTYER (5) - proved difficult to catch post race. ELORA (6) - jostled early stages. Contacted from behind rounding the bend. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination and found to have sustained a mild strain to its left hock with a 14 day stand down imposed. SASS 'EM UP (7) - boxed first. Squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. HOMEBUSH IVANA (8) - jostled early stages.
Race 9	The Turf Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	PEEKAY SHOUT (2) - began awkwardly. RENEGADE COMET (4) - checked prior to entering the back straight and again shortly afterwards losing ground. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination which revealed a mild hock strain to its left hock with a 14 day stand down imposed. VASTERBOTTENOST (8) - checked inside greyhound entering the back straight.
