Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights

Judicial report: AL'S APPRENTICE ( 4 ) ( W Kite ) race 1 stood down 28 days ( 1st offence ) Rule ( 55.1b ) failing to pursue and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	JINJA COLL ( 1 ) - slow away checked in to bend losing momentum and ground. BIGTIME BEV ( 2 ) - best away ,led in to the bend where a runner raced through on her inner forcing her wide and hampered her running for some distance towards the home bend. AL'S APPRENTICE ( 4 ) - fav- slow away improved in to the bend to vie for the lead and ran outwards attempting to mar another runner for some distance in the run across the top bend towards the home turn, was checked on straightening for the run to the line finishing in to 2nd placing at the line and was referred to the vet where the dog has pain on extension of the left hip with a 7 day stand down recommended. On viewing the film the Stewards could not clearly establish wether muzzle contact had been made by AL'S APPRENTICE to the other runner but the dog had clearly not pursued the lure in the run across the top bend and has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) THRILLING MIA ( 5 ) - contacted between runners soon after the start , bumped from behind racing in to the bend , checked again soon after losing ground back to the rear WETCHESTER ( 8 ) - raced wide in to and across the top bend. NDORA ( 9 /6 ) bumped and checked when between runners in the run to the bend. ran extremely wide in to the home straight.
Race 2	J P PRINT PETONE C2 - C2 - 305	LIL DIVA ( 1 ) - checked in to bend losing ground back to the rear OPAWA CRUSADE ( 3 ) - angled outwards from the start ,checked and jostled in to bend losing momentum and ground. KALISI ( 4 ) - checked in the run to the bend recovered well BRILLIANT JAYLA ( 5 ) - angled inwards checked runner on her inner racing in to the bend. NIAM'S WAY ( 6 ) - slowest in to stride held up when attempting to improve from the rear in the run across the top bend.
Race 3	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	MINDER ( 2 ) - slow in to stride racing towards the rear throughout. WHO'S JOHN GALT ( 6 ) - fav- stood when the lids lifted missing the start by a margin losing all chance PAT PATTERSON ( 8 ) - forced to race widest throughout.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	CAWBOURNE SYMSY ( 2 ) - went up with the lids settled back BIGTIME DAZZLER ( 5 ) - went up with the lids settled back ,made ground around the field to race handy in to the far bend effort told in the run to the line
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305	KIRKHAM KYLIE ( 4 ) - away well bumped with another runner early stages became unbalanced racing in to the bend dropping out to finish a margin in the rear at the lure was referred to the vet and was found to have a torn left side gracilis muscle a 28 day stand down was recommended. HOMEBUSH MINNIE ( 5 ) - bumped with runner on her inner soon after the start.
Race 6	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	CAWBOURNE WEB ( 4 ) - bumped and jostled soon after the start , tightened and went back racing in to the first bend. CAWBOURNE RIDGE ( 5 ) - settled back , checked and lost momentum racing in to the back straight ,soon after drifted back to finish in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet was found to have pain in the right gracilis with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 7	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	NGAKAWAU ( 1 ) - midfield in to bend angled outwards in the run across the top bend drifted to finish in the rear at the line was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. YOUR'E THE BEST ( 2 ) - tightened and checked in to bend losing momentum for a couple of strides recovered good ground thereafter. ALL IN BERLIN ( 3 ) - led in to the home straight and was checked from behind going sideways for a stride or so and was narrowly beaten on the line. UNO NATHAN ( 5 ) - forced to check out over heels in to the bend running wide in to another runner finished towards the rear and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right hock with a 14 day stand down recommended. CELESTIAL ACTION ( 6 ) - forced out widest and checked losing all chance racing around the bend. BIGTIME GEORGE ( 7 ) - fav- slow away checked in to bend when attempting to improve in to the body of the field only made fair ground there after. MIKACHU ( 8 ) - improving strongly on the home turn ran in to the hind of leading runner with both dogs being checked and held up for some strides.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	BLACKIE CHAN ( 1 ) - went up with the lids tightened and hampered in to the first bend losing some ground. BIGTIME BOY ( 2 ) - jostled in behind then checked out over heels when tightened between runners racing in to the first bend recovered well. CAWBOURNE STEELE ( 3 ) -from the jump tightened and jostled for some distance racing in to the first bend checked off heels sharply racing around the bend made some ground towards the leaders along the back straight. CAWBOURNE MERL ( 4 ) - hampered for a stride or so racing in to the first bend. IDOL JAZZ ( 5 ) - checked and jostled for some distance in the run in to the first bend where she was checked and ran wide losing ground. ERAMUS ( 6 ) - soon after the start was checked and forced across on to another runner was then caught in midfield and jostled for some strides in the run in to the first bend BIGTIME ONFIRE ( 7 ) - stayed out wide from the start angled across racing in to the first bend checking in behind which allowed this runner to get away to a clear margin on the runners in behind. BIGTIME DONNY ( 8 ) - fav- cut across the face of the field racing in to the first bend causing interference in behind allowing this runner to get away to a clear lead.
Race 9	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES DASH C3 - C3 - 305	NIPPA EeL ( 1 ) - tightened and jostled losing ground in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention. CAWBOURNE DORA ( 2 ) - racing to the bend was tightened and jostled between runners and checked back towards the rear. LEROY SPIRIT ( 3 ) -fav- tightened and checked back losing momentum and ground, made ground towards the home turn finished on.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 520	BIGTIME PHANTOM ( 1 ) - bumped soon after the start , went back when slightly hampered and lost momentum and ground racing in to the first bend soon after slightly hampered for stride losing momentum again , was bumped racing in to the home straight when well back and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found, Trainer Rep B Cole was asked by the Stewards to report on the dogs condition if any abnormalities appear in the next couple of days. BIGTIME PADDY ( 2 ) - fav- only fairly bumped when tightened between runners away settled midfield improved along the back straight finished best. CAWBOURNE TRIXY ( 3 ) - tightened back off heels soon after the start. BIGTIME EVE ( 4 ) - forced across from the jump tightening on to runners on her inner for a couple of strides. NO TIME TOULOUSE ( 5 ) - angled across from the jump resulting in runners on the inner being tightened for a couple of strides
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME REDFOO ( 1 ) - last away made good ground along the inner ran on. CHEAP SHOT MATTY ( 3 ) - attempted to change ground outwards but was held in racing to the bend KIRKHAM JASPER ( 5 ) - forced widest in to and around the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground . HARRY BROWN ( 9/4 ) - bumped with runner on his inner in the run to the bend and again entering the bend when pushed out.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME JANE ( 1 ) - fav- away well hampered and jostled when vying for the lead in to the bend kept a strong run to keep her position in the lead. BIGTIME BASHER ( 2 ) - bumped at the start. BIGTIME SUGAR ( 3 ) - bumped at the start , checked and went sideways for a couple of strides racing in to the bend , ran in to the hind of a runner checking losing several lengths in the run across the top bend. BOX OF FLUFFIES ( 4 ) - vying for the lead when tightened and checked back racing in to the bend ,soon after checked again as following runner caught her hindquarters. BUTTERBALL ( 5 ) - checked at the start settled back checked again entering the bend losing momentum and running wide. FRISKY GAMBLER ( 6 ) - ran in sharply from the jump tightening several runners on her inner and checking herself. BIGTIME TREV ( 7 ) - checked severely in to bend when running on the hindquarters checking outwards losing all chance. POLLY CRACKER ( 8 ) - vying for the lead wider out when checked from behind racing in to the bend recovered well to make good ground to the line.
