Judicial report: 1). Trainer B I Conner - was fined $100.00 for presenting SEA FEVER (Race11) up 1.6kg's in weight from its most previous start on the 23 October 2017.

2). Trainer J Tanner - was fined $50.00 for failing to kennel CUT THE RIBBONS (Race 6) by the prescribed time.

3). ROVER BALE - stood down for 3 months and ordered to preform a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any race after Marring in Race 9.

KALONGA (5) - contacted from the inside in the run to the bend. STAR BUCKING (7) - boxed first. STU ON IT (8) - boxed first. Slow to jump.
Race 2	I Pave Concrete Dash - C2 - 295	ULTRA ACTION (1) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend and had to steady. UNFOUNDED (2) - bumped with outside runner early stages. Placed in restricted room and dragged down entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian - Cleared of injury. OHOKA ANGEL (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages and again entering the bend. SPARKLING TERRA (4) - inconvenienced entering the bend. ON EDGE (5) - inconvenienced entering the bend. ZIPPING JEN (6) - checked entering the bend losing momentum.
Race 3	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3 - 520	VICARIOUS (2) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend. CAWBOURNE PALMER (9/3) - improved performance queried - Reported that the greyhound had benefited from a spell after sustaining a calf muscle injury and had appreciated a drop in class. It was also reported that the greyhound had been trialing well in the lead up to today's engagement. LITTLE BIT FUNNY (10/5) - squeezed for racing room and lost ground entering the first bend. OPAWA ANTHONY (6) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the first bend receiving a slight check. BOSTON BILLY (8) - boxed first.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C2 - 295	OHOKE TYLER (1) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend and had to steady. Made contact with the running rail exiting the bend. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. WE ROCKING (2) - jostled with inside runner prior to reaching the bend. Inconvenienced entering the bend. GIANCANA (9/3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. HIGH RETURN (5) - came down the track abruptly early stages. BILLY FROST (7) - began awkwardly. Forced up the track rounding the bend. JOEY BAXTER (8) - awkwardly placed rounding the bend and shifted up the track.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C2 - 295	SMASH REBEL (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend and had to steady for a stride. SEEKING BAXTER (5) - came down the track and made contact with the running rail prior to the bend. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. WONG ANSWER (6) - boxed first. Placed in restricted room rounding the bend and had to check losing ground. GOLDSTAR LINKIN (8) - slow to jump.
Race 6	Mac Developments Dash - C3 - 295	OPAWA BLINKY (2) - commenced to weaken prior to the bend retreating back through the field. Referred to the veterinarian and found to have a torn hip support. KNOW SALUTE (3) - contacted from outside early stages. Awkward on heels rounding the bend. TIP THE BABE (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Contacted from the outside entering the bend losing ground. KNOW LOGIC (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages and again when entering the bend. CUT THE RIBBONS (6) - boxed first. Squeezed for racing room early stages. Contacted inside greyhound entering the bend. Checked off heels exitng the bend. CULVIE JAY DEE (7) - came down the track early stages crowding inside greyhounds. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend had had to steady losing ground.
Race 7	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	SPRING SAM (1) - bumped from the outside rounding the first bend. Raced in tight quarters exiting the bend. SHREDDIN' (2) - bumped with outside greyhound in the run to the line. AVENGER BALE (4) - jostled with outside greyhound early stages. Checked outwards off heels entering the first bend. Bumped with outside greyhound exiting the bend. LETRON JAMES (5) - jostled with inside greyhound early stages. Bumped with inside greyhound exiting the bend. Again bumped with inside greyhound in the run to the line. OPAWA BRAD (7) - contacted inside runner rounding the first bend.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	SADER NATION (1) - slow to jump. BOTANY ALAN (3) - awkwardly placed on heels prior to the first bend. Squeezed for racing room rounding the first bend and made contact with the running rail. Referred to the veterinarian - cleared of injury. OPAWA NORRIS (4) - climbed on heels entering the first bend. ZIPPING CLYDE (6) - slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels entering the first bend and ran up the track. HE'S ALL POWER (7) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend shifting up the track. ALLEN ABLETT (8) - dragged down first bend. Referred to the veterinarian - cleared of injury.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 520 Heat 3	TOM TEE (1) - placed in restricted room prior to the first bend and road up the running rail for a brief distance. Checked rounding final bend. Marred by outside greyhound final stages. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. RUNWAY BONO (2) - contacted outside greyhound early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Checked outwards off heels rounding the first bend contacting outside greyhound. CACTUS JACK (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Contacted from the inside rounding the first bend and into the running line of trailing runner. NOZZNO FEAR (4) - bumped with inside greyhound early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the first bend having to check outwards off heels. OPAWA SHACKLEY (5) - placed inside greyhounds in restricted room entering the first bend. MINA ALLEN (6) - contacted and turned abruptly from the inside rounding the first bend and forced outwards into the path of trailing runner. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. DAVE'S DOT (7) - severely checked entering the first bend. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. ROVER BALE (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding the first bend. Again awkwardly placed on heels rounding the final bend. Made muzzle contact with inside greyhound on several occasion through the later stages of the run home. Stood down for the mandatory 3 months (Second offence) for Marring and directed to perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Heat 4 - C5q - 520 Heat 4	MUST BE RUSTY (1) - awkwardly placed on heel entering the first bend checking outwards and causing interference to outside runners. CROTTY (2) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Checked entering the first bend losing momentum. MAZU (3) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend. Checked entering the first bend. JIMMY'S ROCKET (4) - bumped with outside greyhound early stages. Shifted up the track entering the first bend forcing outside greyhound up the track. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding final bend and lost ground. Referred to the veterinarian - Cleared of injury. AMERICAN WARRIOR (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Checked entering the first bend and again rounding final bend. QUISTIS BALE (6) - forced up the track rounding the first bend. Hampered rounding final bend.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Heat 5 - C5q - 520 Heat 5	HOMEBUSH FUED (3) - raced in restricted room early stages and again prior to the first bend having to steady. Bumped outside runner shortly after on several occasions. HARRY FIELDS (5) - bumped from the outside early stages. Referred to the veterinarian - found to have recovered in an acceptable manner. SEA FEVER (6) - raced up 1.6kg's from it's most previous start. Contacted inside runner early stages. HELSKI BALE (7) - bumped outwards entering the first bend. PANEL BEATER (8) - bumped with inside greyhound in the run to the first bend.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C3 - 295	RUM GIN MIXER (1) - held up momentarily final bend. OPAWA SHORT (2) - bumped from the outside early stages. Contacted outside runner exiting the bend. Fell heavily at the lure before regaining its feet. Collapsed once rejoining the field at the lure and was found to be deceased prior to being removed from the track. A postmortem will be carried out and the findings reported to stewards in the coming days. MUST DESIRE (3) - boxed first. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend and lost momentum. GENETIC MARLOW (4) - inconvenienced entering the bend. SPEEDY RETURN (5) - boxed first. DORA DUFRAN (6) - came down the track in the run to the bend and bumped inside runner. MANDI MAE (7) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend and lost momentum.
