Judicial report: (1) FANCY NOMIKAI (DJ MacMillan) completed a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to Rule 38.10 in accordance with Rule 57.1. (2) SMASH KING (M Grant) required to complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 38.9.

Race 1	SOUTHLAND GREYHOUNDS WELCOME - C0 - 390	SMASH KING (1) - bumped and became unbalanced when checked into the turn. Ran outwards and wide on turn losing all chance. A post veterinary check revealed no injury. After reviewing the film and hearing submssions from the trainer M.Grant Stewards took into account the check immediately prior to running out but deemed the greyhound's performance to be unsatisfactory and under Rule 38.9 required the greyhound to complete one Satisfactory Trial before competing again. HILTON HANGOVER (3) - shifted inwards into turn checking runner to inside. JAKALBERRY JEWEL (7) - slow to jump.
Race 2	CONGRATULATIONS ZANE B - C0 - 457	GLASS HARPOON (2) - jumped awkwardly losing ground early. KOPUTAI (8) - ran wide in straight.
Race 3	2017 GRNZ GALA AWARDS - C1 - 457	OPAWA JANET (2) - slow to jump then shifted outwards clipping hind quarters of runner to outside. DAVE'S PICK (4) - hind quarters clipped shortly after the jump and lost ground.
Race 4	CELEBRATING THE NEED FOR SPEED - C2 - 457	PERFECT RESULT (3) - jumped awkwardly losing ground early. VERTA BALE (6) - tightened between runners into turn and badly checked losing ground.
Race 5	WHEELCHAIR NORM SPRINTER OF THE YEAR - C4/5 - 390	EXPRESS GUNN (4) - checked at the jump losing momentum. NIPPAOFSAMBUCCA (5) - ran inwards from jump checking runner to inside. OPAWA WAIHEMO (7) - checked into the turn losing ground. ABRASADOR (8) - shifted inwards into the turn checking runner to inside.

HOMEBUSH CLINT (8) - bounded at the jump losing ground early. Dictated wide in run to the turn. DEBORAH BAY (9/5) - pushed outwards into turn forcing another runner wide.
