Judicial report: 1). VERTA BALE (A Roberts) - completed a satisfactory trial after marring at the Geelong GRC's meeting on the 16th June 2017 and is now permitted to be nominated to race.

2). OPPIE BALE (A Roberts) - completed a satisfactory trial after marring at the Sandown Park 's meeting on the 15th June 2017 and is now permitted to be nominated to race.

3). AURELIUS JEWEL (A Roberts) - completed a satisfactory trial after failing to pursue the lure at the Christchurch GRC's meeting on the 4th August 2017 and is now permitted to race when its 28 day stand down expires.

4). PROMISE TO KEEP - will now Box first at the request of trainer A LEE.

5). RUM GIN MIXER ( A Joyce) - stood down pending a satisfactory trial.

6). All available films will be further reviewed in the coming days and any matter arising will be dealt with subject to Rule 11.1 (b).

Race 1	The Fitz Sports Bar Sprint - C0 - 295	BLACK EYE BILL (3) - bumped from the outside early. HOMEBUSH BRODIE (4) - began awkwardly settling a distant last. GOTCHA MILLIE (5) - forced down the track early bumping with inside runner. INCOMING STORM (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages.
Race 2	Happy 45th Anniversary Pud & Lucky Munro Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH DEMI (1) - contacted from the outside at the jump. CULVIE YOGI (9/2) - came in and contacted inside runner at the jump. VENETIA (6) - dragged down rounding the bend. Bumped from behind again shortly after. Veterinary examination post race - Cleared of injury. GORM THE GREAT (7) - climbed on heels rounding the bend and lost momentum. ran wide throughout the run home. BUBLIN MAX (8) - obliged to check outwards off heels rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 3	Clarkson's Sign Studio Sprint - C0 - 295	BOTANY WHISPER (3) - awkwardly placed on the running rail prior to the bend briefly shortening stride. OLIIEBOLLON (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend having to steady. Checked again shortly after when again awkward on heels. FEAR FAILURE (6) - contacted from behind prior to the bend. EUROPE WHO (7) - bumped with outside runner in run to bend. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend and had to check losing ground. Ran wide exiting the bend and throughout the run home. HOMEBUSH AUSTIN (8) - came in and bumped with inside runner in run to bend.
Race 4	Little Brown Jug Stakes - C0 - 520	FIRED UP JASPER (1) - awkwardly placed on heels prior to the bend checking outwards contacting outside runner. EYREWELL VALETTA (2) - began awkwardly. Inconvenienced entering first bend. GOLDSTAR CHIEF (4) - contacted from the outside prior to the first bend before being squeezed for racing room and losing ground. AMY AMY (5) - ran wide rounding the first bend. EYREWELL LUCY (7) - came down the track and contacted inside runner prior to the first bend. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runner shortly afterwards and lost momentum. DREAM KAY (8) - veterinarian examination revealed a laceration to the left hind top of webbing with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	Happy Birthday John McInerney Sprint - C0 - 295	DOPPLEBOCK (2) - came up the track in the run to the bend and bumped with outside runner. GOLDSTAR LOTTIE (3) - bumped outwards into runner in run to the bend losing ground. Inconvenienced entering bend. Veterinary examination post race - Cleared of injury. PROMISE TO KEEP (4) - proved difficult to box - Placed on Box first list at the request of trainer A Lee. CHOP SHOP (5) - contacted from outside runner early stages. Checked by inside runner prior to the bend and again entering the bend effectively losing its chance. MOJITO RAMA (6) - squeezed for room early losing ground. HOMEBUSH SHEA (7) - boxed first. Squeezed for room early. MAC WAGGER (8) - came inwards at the start crowding the racing room of inside runners.
Race 6	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C0 - 520	CALL ME SOON (5) - contacted from outside in run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR SCOOBY (7) - began slightly awkward. Inconvenienced shortly after and had to steady. PEEKAY SHOUT (8) - came down the track abruptly in the run to the first bend contacting inside runner.
Race 7	A2B Asphalt Canterbury Sprint - C2 - 295	SMOKEY ACTION (2) - held up for racing room early in the bend. GIANCANA (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and had to steady. Checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. MR. BEAR (4) - began awkwardly. KNOW LOGIC (6) - contacted from the outside prior to the bend. Held up for racing room early in the bend. MANDI MAE (7) - turned outwards entering the bend and ran up the track. NIPPA-A- SPOT (8) - checked outwards off heels rounding the bend running wide.
Race 8	Ron's Muzzle Repairs Ph 0272916330 Dash - C2 - 295	RUM GIN MIXER (2) - came out and contacted outside runner early stages. Bumped again from the outside prior to the bend before running up the track forcing outside runners wider. Veterinary examination post race - No significant injuries found. Stewards spoke with trainer A Joyce regarding the racing conduct of his greyhound entering the bend. After viewing all available films and taking into account Mr Joyce's comments along with the clear Veterinary examination Stewards deemed the conduct at this stage as unsatisfactory and stood the greyhound down pending a satisfactory trial. GHISELLA (3) - bumped with outside runner exiting the bend. ROCKET JEWEL (4) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and lost all momentum. OPAWA KIM (5) - contacted inside runner in run to the bend. Forced up the track entering the bend and obliged to cover extra ground. Bumped with inside runner exiting the bend. CANNONBALL BOLT (6) - began awkwardly. Terminally checked entering the bend. ANOTHER FAN (7) - forced up the track entering the bend and obliged to cover extra ground. SEA SPRAY ELSA (8) - checked entering the bend before being dragged down losing its chance. Veterinary examination post race - Cleared of injury.
Race 9	Islington Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	TERRA MONDO (1) - checked outwards off heels rounding the bend and ran wide. CISCO (3) - bumped outwards rounding the bend before being dragged down losing its chance. Veterinary examination post race - sprained left hock stood down 14 days. KNOW LAPSE (5) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend before having to take evasive action to avoid falling runner shortly afterwards losing valuable momentum. ELORA (6) - boxed first. checked rounding the bend and ran wide. EXTRADITE (7) - came down the track entering the bend and climbed on the heels of forward runner and fell to the track. Veterinary examination post race - minor skin grazes, stood down 7 days. PATTY'S PICK (8) - obliged to race wide rounding the bend.
Race 10	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C2 - 520	FAB ACTION (2) - squeezed for racing room bumping outside runner when exiting the bend. OPAWA ANTHONY (4) - bumped from the inside exiting the bend. KAY BOMB (5) - awkwardly placed rounding the first bend and lost momentum. ESTER ACTION (6) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend and lost ground. Had to check outwards to avoid runners entering shortly afterwards. AVALANCH CITY (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runner prior to the bend. Checked rounding the first bend losing momentum. BOSSY AFFAIR (8) - began awkwardly.
Race 11	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph 0272719588 Dash - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR TU PUC (1) - slow early. RUNNIN' CLOGGS (3) - placed in restricted room in the run to the bend before being squeezed completly losing ground. WHOSE HE (4) - boxed first. Contacted from the outside shortly after the start. IDOL EVE (5) - forced down the track in the run to the bend. KNOW CONTEST (6) - checked inwards off heels at the jump making contact with inside runner. MY BRO MICHAEL (9/8) - came down the track sharply in the run to the bend forcing inside runner down.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C2 - 295	KNOW DECEPTION (1) - contacted from the inside exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH TULIP (2) - began awkwardly. TERRA BINDI (3) - slightly dragged exiting the bend. Veterinary examination post race - Cleared of injury. JINJA LOCH (4) - awkwardly placed on heels in the run to the bend and had to check. TOKEN ACE (6) - forced down the track in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels and checked outwards off heels exiting the bend contacting outside runner. SARAYA JADE (7) - came down the track in the run to the bend forcing inside runner down .Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the bend.
