Judicial report: CAWBOURNE OWEN which was a scratching today with a toe fracture, raced at Waikato GRC on 17.08.17 and the Trainer reported to the Stewards that the injury became apparent the following day.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	BIGTIME JONTY (3) - Was bumped and turned sideways when the start was made but recovered well to win the race. PAWS FOR CONCERN (4) - Bumped when the start was made and again soon after and lost ground on both occasions but made up ground to finish 3rd. EYE KNO (8) - Checked over heels entering the home straight and shifted out making contact and lost several lengths and all chance. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a quadricep muscle injury. PARIS GLOBAL (10/6) - Bumped and unbalanced after the start and settled back but made up ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C2 - C2 - 375	DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (4) - Was galloped on going into the bend and lost five lengths and stayed back to finish last. HOMEBUSH SLOAN (5) - Galloped on the heels of another runner going into the bend, lost three lengths and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	NERO (6) - Was hampered early in the race and got back when checking over heels but made up ground well to win the race. BIGTIME LADY (7) - Raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished well back.
Race 4	Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 410	BIGTIME BAKAGAIN (2) - Was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE BRANDY (5) - Raced wide over extra ground throughout and finished in 2nd last place. BIGTIME SPIRIT (6) - Also raced wide throughout over extra ground and finished last. CAWBOURNE NATH (7) - Began awkwardly losing two lengths but ran on to finish in 4th place.
Race 5	TAB Supports Greyhounds C2 - C2 - 375	CAWBOURNE HINT (1) - Began well but was crowded going to the first turn when runners drawn further out shifted in and he was shuffled back to the rear and never recovered. BIGTIME GEORGE (2) - Began awkwardly losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 6	Use Petraveller.com.au C4 - C4 - 375	KALISI (2) - Was checked when tightened from outside going into the bend and she went back to last and stayed back to finish several lengths last. Was referred to the Vet and found to have pectoral and lattisimus dorsi injuries. KIRKHAM JASPER (3) - Was also tightened going into the bend and lost three lengths. BREEZE ATTACK (4) - Shifted in going into the bend and caused tightening and checks to runners to his inside. BIGTIME JAY JAY (7) - was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 2nd place. WATCH MY BACK (8) - Was slow away from the boxes losing two lengths and then raced wide over extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 7	Personal Protective Services C1 - C1 - 410	LADY ZEENA (7) - Was bumped and unbalanced going into the bend and she lost momentum, went back to last and stayed there for the remainder.
Race 8	Ionlyflyfirstclass.com C0 - C0 - 457	BIGTIME SANDY (1) - Was checked going into the bend and went back and out into the line of following runners which were checked. BIGTIME EVE (3) - Was checked from behind and turned sideways when leading into the bend but recovered quickly to go on and win the race. CAWBOURNE BETTSY (4) - Was hampered going into the bend and forced wide over extra ground. MISCHIEF VIKING (7) - Forced wide into the bend but made up ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 457	APRICITY (2) - Shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to several other runners and also to herself and they all lost several lengths and all chance. THRILLING RORY (4) - Forced wide into the bend losing several lengths. THRILLING STAN (6) - Slow to begin losing three lengths and was then checked going into the bend and stayed back to finish 7th. PATTY BOY (8) - Checked going into the bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 10	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C2 - C2 - 457	MIJA SYDNEY (3) - Was the favourite and appeared momentarily hesitant between runners going into the bend and went back to last before making up some ground in the home straight. He was given the benefit of some doubt due to movement out from an inside runner but his future races will be monitored closely.
Race 11	Adrian Clark - Bloodstock Consultant C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	BIGTIME SAM (4) - Was hampered on the bend when avoiding heels and lost momentum briefly. CAWBOURNE BUCKLE (5) - Was checked when bumped from the outside at the start and she lost ground, settled back and stayed there throughout. BIGTIME MONTY (6) - Was checked from the start and he went back to last and stayed there throughout. BIGTIME RANSON (7) - Jumped in abruptly from the start and caused checks to other runners which both lost ground.
Race 12	Jarred's Last Hurrah!!! Givealttle.co.nz C5 - C5 - 457	MAP MY RUN (2) - Checked off heels entering the home straight and shifted out checking three other runners. BIGTIME FLYER (3) - Checked entering the home straight and lost momentum. TRANQUIL RUE (7) - Checked and lost ground on the home turn and stayed back to finish last. TAKAMORI (9/6) - Bumped after the start and settled back and the checked on the home turn and lost ground and stayed back.
Race 13	Brooks Timing C1 - C1 - 375	NDORA (2) - Shifted out on the home turn and was galloped on and unbalanced for a short distance but recovered to finish in 3rd place. EL HEFE (7) - Was galloped on going into the bend and lost several lengths and all chance. BIGTIME MARK (8) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground quickly until running into another runner going into the bend and lost several lengths. ALQUEZAR (10/4) - Checked entering the home straight and lost momentum.
Race 14	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 375	MAHALA BAY ((2) - Was checked in the approach to the home turn and lost momentum briefly. CAWBOURNE PATTY (5) - Was bumped and unbalanced on three occasions in the back straight and into the bend and she went back to the rear and finished last.
Race 15	www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375	The field was three minutes late getting to the starting point. MISTER EBBY (8) - Became unbalanced and lost ground going into the bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
