Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.

Judicial report: BIGTIME JASON ( L Cole ) was re-presented under rule ( 56.6 & 56.6 ) and was found to be clear of injury after being stood down Waikato Greyhounds on the 27-7-2017 is now cleared to race.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	KINETIC SHADOW ( 1 ) - tightened and jostled for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. MIKACHU ( 4 ) - bumped and pushed across soon after the start- jostled with runner on his inner racing in to the bend. CAWBOURNE BROADY ( 9/7 ) - raced wide throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground.
Race 2	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	SIOUX BAXTER ( 1 ) - was away well on the inner tightened slightly in to the bend went back to the rear was unable to improve there after referred to the vet and was found to have a right side gracilis muscle injury YELLA ELLA ( 5 ) - dwelt at the start -improved around runners soon after. JUDGE'S CALL ( 8 ) - forced to race wide in to and across the top bend.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 410	UNAWARES ( 5 ) - stumbled going down on his nose coming out of the boxes - unbalanced and then checked off hind quarters racing in to the bend finished several lengths in the rear at the line was referred to the vet and was found to have re injured lesion left latimmus dorsi CAWBOURNE TODDY ( 7 )fav - settled back checked in to bend held up for some strides approaching the home turn. MR MAIZE ( 8 ) - raced wide throughout.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets C2 - C2 - 375	BIGTIME PINK ( 4 ) - tightened and checked in to bend - tightened again on the top bend losing a length or so. BIGTIME GEORGE ( 5 ) - forced to check out wide on the home losing all chance home turn to avoid a runner coming back on him. BIGTIME BREAK ( 6 ) - forced extremely wide on the home turn losing all chance. CAWBOURNE GUNNA ( 8 ) - racing handy went off stride near home turn dropped out to finish a margin in the rear at the line was referred to the vet and was found to have a fracture of the right hock.
Race 5	Use Petraveller.com.au C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	BIGTIME SUGAR ( 3 ) - went back several lengths off heels racing across the top bend. BIGTIME THINKER ( 6 ) - settled back was checked losing momentum on the top bend when looking to improve.
Race 6	Wanganui Stayers Heats 4th August C3 - C3 - 375	CAWBOURNE ELPASO ( 2 ) - was beat away raced handy in to the bend drifted back through the field to finish a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet was found to have muscle tear in left gracilis . FUSION CRONULLA ( 3 ) fav - dwelt at the start checked and lost ground in to bend - soon after checked when tangling for some strides with runner on his outer was unable to improve there after referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. HARD MERCH ( 5 ) - bumped soon after start recovered well. MILA MILA ( 6 ) - tightened and checked back soon after the start.
Race 7	Adrian Clark - Bloodstock Consultant C4 - C4 - 375	This race started approximately 3.5 minutes late due to the tight turn around between races 6 & 7. HYPOCRITICAL ( 7 ) fav - forced wide in to bend when looking to improve could not get in to contention there after.
Race 8	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C1 - C1 - 457	CLASSY DELTA ( 1 ) - led in to the bend was tightened went back on heels losing moment and ground. BANSHEE REEL ( 2 ) - jostled for some strides in the run to the bend losing ground back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. APRICITY ( 3 ) - tightened and checked back in the run to the bend recovered well soon after. LIGHT 'EM JAX ( 4 ) fav - bumped at start settled back - checked back off heels in to the bend improved through the field to the lead. CAWBOURNE BRYCE ( 8 ) racing in to the bend angled across tightening in side runner who went back catching this runners heels- CAWBOURNE BRYCE checked and went back through the field was unable to improve and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	$5,000 Bonus Quaddie C2d - C2d - 660	PHANTOM WAY ( 2 ) - tightened and jostled for some strides in the run to the first bend was then forced to check off heels losing several lengths. PACIFIC SUNRISE ( 3 ) tightened and jostled in the run in to the first bend. STINGER ( 4 ) - racing in to the first bend was hampered for some strides when checked and ran on the heels of a couple of runners -Stinger lost momentum and several lengths was not able to get back in to contention. CAWBOURNE KAI ( 6 ) - hampered in the run around the first bend when galloped on losing moment and was unable to get back in to contention.
Race 10	Ionlyflyfirstclass.com C2 - C2 - 457	BIGTIME SAM ( 2 ) - jostled and tightened losing a couple of lengths racing in to the bend. IDOL LEANNE ( 3 ) - angled outwards and was bumped as a runner came across in the run to the bend. THRILLING FERGUS ( 5 ) fav - ran outwards coming together with runner on his outer soon after the start. CAWBOURNE MUZZA ( 6 ) - tightened and checked soon after the start losing momentum and some ground. TAMMY'S FIRE ( 7 ) - raced across from the boxes bumping with a couple of runners.
Race 11	Wanganui Cup Heats 4th August C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	FIVE EYES ( 4 ) - caused himself to be hampered racing to the bend when angling outwards wide forcing outside runners wide in to the bend. BIGTIME CALEB ( 6 ) - tightened and jostled between runners in the run to the bend. BIGTIME DOUG ( 7 ) - was pushed inwards across soon after the start tightening runners on his inner for some strides -was forced wide in to the bend losing all chance. BERNIE'S BOY ( 9/8 ) - Angled across soon after the start tightening runners on his inner for some distance -forced wide in to the bend losing all chance.
Race 12	M&M Master Butchers now in the Kapiti Coast C5 - C5 - 457	TAKAMORI ( 7 ) - settled back was checked and lost momentum when racing in to the bend was unable to get in to contention there after. SPRING ALLEGRO ( 8 ) - forced to race widest in to bend when attempting to improve lost ground to the rear was unable to improve there after.
