Track: Dead Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CITRUS A PEEL & VEE VEERY GOOD ( G & J Clarke ) both completed satisfactory trials per rule ( 55.10 ) and are now cleared to race.
The track was rated Dead with rain falling in the early part of the meeting and was upgraded to GOOD after race 8 due to the track improving.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	ALLEGRO POWER ( 1 ) fav - awkwardly away -checked in to bend losing momentum was unable to improve. MARK BE GOOD ( 2 ) - in the run to the bend ran outwards across the face of several runners. BIGTIME AMELIA ( 4 ) - ran outwards sharply from the start bumping in to a couple of runners raced wide there after. ANOTHER VESPA ( 5 ) - hampered in to bend losing ground. BRIGHTEYE'S SOUL ( 7 ) - bumped hard in the run to the bend recovered well finished on. VEE MARINA ( 8 ) - bumped hard racing in to the bend losing momentum racing out wide and was unable to improve.
Race 2	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C1 - 520	TRANQUIL BLOSSOM ( 3 ) fav - away fairly angled outwards bumping in to another runner and was severely hampered being checked back to the rear in the run to the first bend - she made good ground along the inner to be handy towards the home turn and was checked again recovered well to finish on strongly in the run to the line. OPAWA PENNY ( 4 ) - was bumped soon after the start -then attempted to force her way across causing herself and inside runner to be checked and lost ground in to the first bend and was unable to get in to contention there after. PACIFIC SUNRISE ( 5 ) - racing handy on the home turn where she was tightened in on to another runner causing her to be checked going back several lengths. CHARLIE BO BO ( 7 ) - improving around runners nearing the home turn where he moved inwards tightening on to inside runners causing himself to lose a couple of lengths. OPAWA SHILOH ( 8 ) - in the run to the first bend attempted to angle across and was galloped on dropping back did not improve there after was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis muscle.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 305	CHAIR UP was a late scratching at kenneling with a painful wart on pad of left hind. HALF SILVER FERN ( 2 ) - began awkwardly was unable to clear the rear runners throughout.
Race 4	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	YOU'RE THE BEST ( 1 ) - went up with lids slightly being slow away improved in to the field soon after was buffeted and checked after angling outwards going back towards the rear racing in to the bend was forced wide on the home turn and finished in the rear at the line. AMERICANO ( 2 ) - best away in the initial stages soon after moved outwards coming together with runner on his outer and was buffeted and checked as he went back through the field towards the rear -ran wide on the home turn finishing towards the rear was referred to the vet and was found to have pain right hind quadriceps & left deep pectoral muscle. HIP HOP RAPPER ( 4 ) - in the run to the bend angled inwards bumping with AMERICANO for a couple of strides then angled in a cross the face of this runner.
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 520	CAWBOURNE MUZZA ( 1 ) - bumped and checked soon after the start for a stride or so. CHIP OFF BLOCK ( 2 ) fav - bumped and checked soon after the start losing a length or so. BIGTIME MONTY ( 3 ) - checked soon after the start stumbling slightly for stride losing a couple of lengths- was forced wide and checked losing ground racing in to the bend on the first occasion. JINJA LOREN ( 4 ) - raced across from the start causing tightening and checks to several runners on her inner soon after was tightened and caught heels racing in to the bend on the first occasion. PHANTOM WAY ( 5 ) - in the run in to the first bend was forced across and tightened on to heels -she came outwards catching the hind of another runner and also forced runners on her outer to be race very wide around the bend- PHANTOM WAY lost a fair bit of ground at this point and was unable to improve there after. TAMMY'S FIRE ( 6 ) - had her line dictated across and tightened racing to the first bend - was bumped and checked back soon after finishing in the rear at the line. METEOR VEGE ( 9/7 ) - raced across from the start causing tightening to several runners racing to the bend on the first occasion where she was tightened in between runners causing her to check out over heels and was hampered for some strides as the field raced in to the back straight.
Race 6	WANGANUI TOYOTA C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	CAWBOURNE MEZZA ( 3 ) - bumped hard soon after the start recovered well to get back in a handy position racing in to the bend. ALLEGRO BEAU ( 4 ) - began awkwardly checked back ran on to midfield. TAKEAWAY ( 5 ) - checked soon after the start went back -ran wide on home turn finished in the rear at the line. CAWBOURNE POTTSY ( 6 ) - ran across sharply from the start causing tightening and checks to several runners on his inner.. DOOSH ( 7 ) - angled across soon after the start coming together with runner on his inner and was jostled for several strides.
Race 7	AON CPF C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	OPAWA TOMMO ( 1 ) - slow away tightened on the inner for some strides in the run in to the bend soon after gained clear racing room made good ground. CAWBOURNE ELPASO ( 2 ) - only fairly away raced back in the early stages improved in to the bend finished strongly in the run home. POLLY CRACKER ( 3 ) - angled outwards soon after the start coming together with runner on her outer for some strides was then checked back racing in to the bend. ALL IN BERLIN ( 4 ) - in the run to the bend was bumped and jostled for several strides then checked going back past midfield in the run around the bend. BIGTIME SHAKER ( 6 ) fav - in the run to the bend improved towards the lead angling across tightening and causing checks to several runners on his inner.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	CAWBOURNE FROST ( 2 ) - in the run in to the bend was tightened and jostled and was unbalanced for a stride or so recovered well. FUSION CRONULLA ( 3 ) fav - dwelt at the start settled back improved in to the bend between runners and was tightened and jostled resulting in her catching heels and checking outwards losing all chance. CAWBOURNE WEB ( 4 ) - racing in to the bend was checked and ran wide when being bumped outwards sharply and was almost dragged down losing all chance finishing in the rear was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. CAWBOURNE STICK ( 6 ) - in the run in to the bend improved towards the leaders angling inwards causing tightening and checks to several runners. BIGTIME STU ( 7 ) - stumbled slightly coming off the mats settled back was severely checked and ran extremely wide in to the bend- he balanced up quickly and finished on but had lost all chance in the incident.
Race 9	HATRICK DASH C5 - C5 - 305	BIGTIME JESS ( 1 ) - raced handy on the inner was jostled racing in to the bend when attempting to angle outwards and became unbalanced for a couple of strides nearing the home turn she lost ground back to the rear finishing a margin back on to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have suffered a hock injury to the right hind which was put in a cast with pain relief given. BIGTIME OPAL ( 2 ) fav - from the jump attempted to run outwards bumping in to runners on her outer and was jostled back towards the rear racing in to the bend where she ran wide around the bend making good ground checked out wider nearing the home turn ran in to midfield at the line. BIGTIME THINKER ( 4 ) - bumped hard soon after the start when between runners- bumped again racing in to the bend recovered soon after to gain a run along the inner. AFRICAN PRINCESS ( 5 ) - ran in from the jump bumping and jostling runner on her inner - soon after racing in to the bend angled in off heels bumping with runner on her inner again losing momentum back towards the rear raced wide out off heels racing in to the home straight. BIGTIME BLACKIE ( 6 ) - began very awkwardly being last away by a good 6 lengths improved along the inner nearing the home turn finished on well. LOVER ( 8 ) - raced wide around the bend - caught up in bumping and jostling losing momentum and several lengths nearing the home turn.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	FRONTAL LOBE ( 6 ) - raced handy to the first bend received a slight check soon after dropped back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing well back at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have spike wounds and grazing inside of right hind no stand down recommended.
Race 11	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME FEVER ( 3 ) - soon after the start was bumped and jostled between runners for a few strides going back towards the rear nearing the home he was forced to check back and out over heels losing momentum for a couple of strides finishing in the rear at the line. DOWNGRADE KING ( 4 ) - ran outwards from the jump bumping with another runner settled back looked to improve nearing the home turn and was checked as inside runner checked outwards bumping him where he lost ground running wide in to the home straight. KIRKHAM KYLIE ( 5 ) - was pushed and bumped inwards soon after the start resulting in being galloped on for a stride- ran out sharply on the home turn bumping with runner on her outer. SEDGEBROOK BABE ( 7 ) - Raced handy but wide in to and around the bend was bumped and checked on the home turn losing momentum and some ground finishing in behind midfield. AL'S GIRL ( 8 ) - angled across from the jump causing some tightening and jostling in behind for a few strides.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305	This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of Raceday Control. OPAWA CRYSTAL ( 1 ) - dwelt at the start tightened on the inner making contact with the rail racing in to the bend and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. HARKONEN BALE ( 3 - was tightened for several strides when pushed inwards racing in to the bend. BIGTIME JANE ( 5 ) - bumped and jostled with runner on her outer for some strides in the run to the bend. ROXY FOXTROT ( 6 ) - bumped and jostled with runner on his inner for some strides in the run to the bend. HYPOCRITICAL ( 7 ) fav - tripped and stumbled coming out of the boxes and off the mat settled back was forced to check out widest racing in to the bend when looking to improve and made good ground wide across the top bend in to the home straight.
