Judicial report: CAWBOURNE SANDY completed a satisfactory trial under the provisions of Rule 38.9 and wore blinkers and satisfied the Stewards and is now able to race wearing this item of gear. DE BLONDE failed to pursue the lure throughout in race 3, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

LUKE SKYWALKER (3) - Jostled for a short distance going to the first corner. CARRICK (5) - Jostled going to the first corner and was unbalanced losing ground. Was then checked from behind and a short distance further on, was bumped and forced a little wide into the bend. CAWBOURNE BROADY (6) - Began awkwardly and went up with the lids losing ground and he stayed back throughout. CAWBOURNE JEFF (8) - Led into the bend but was galloped on and checked back to the rear group and stayed back for the remainder. |
Race 2 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520 | SAPPHIRE CLUB (3) - Checked off the back of another runner going into the first turn and lost ground, went back to last and stayed there. WATERLOO BLUE (6) - Unable to avoid an incident ahead and was checked losing several lengths. CAWBOURME GIBBO - Was checked and forced wide into the first bend and lost ground. SEDGEBROOK FREDA (10/5) - Was galloped on and checked going into the first turn and she never recovered and stayed well back. |
Race 3 | METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305 | MOJITO RAMA (1) - Was crowded and lost ground soon after the start. FOSTER BOY (2) - Was slow to begin and settled back. IT'S ELECTRIC (3) - Shifted in and jostled another runner for a short distance soon after the start. Was inconvenienced in the home straight when another runner lay out. MISS MUFFET (5) - Was jostled and checked going to the first turn and lost ground. DE BLONDE (6) - Turned her head on the home turn and down the home straight and was cleared of injury and stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout under Rule 55.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. AHUROA FLYER (8) - Shifted in going to the first corner and was jostled and lost ground. |
Race 4 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305 | MONKEY BARS (2) - Settled back and then raced very wide over extra ground on the bend and finished near the rear. STOLE ME KEYS (5) - Slow to begin losing two lengths. |
Race 5 | J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520 | ELABORATE (1) - Shifted out abruptly from the start and checked other runners. FOREVER AND EVER (3) - Was bumped and unbalanced after the start and lost ground. Jostled with another runner for some distance going into the first turn and lost several lengths. STRIKE LOTTO (5) - Was bumped and unbalanced after the start and lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. OPAWA JUDY (10/4) - Was slow to begin and settled back . jostled with another runner going into the first turn and continued to jostle for some distance losing several lengths and all chance. |
Race 6 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C0 - C0 - 305 | AHUROA PANTHER (1) - Shifted out and bumped with another runner going into the bend and was unbalanced and lost momentum for a short distance. POPPET (4) - Shifted out after the start and caused tightening and checks to other runners. MS RUBBLE DOUBLE (5) - Was checked early in the race and settled back where she stayed throughout. Was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and found to have quadricep pain. AFRICAN VIOLET (7) - Tightened and checked soon after the start and settled back. LOCO AMIGO (9/6) - Was jostled and checked after the start and lost ground but recovered and made up ground for 4th place. |
Race 7 | AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520 | SECRET AGENDA (5) - Was slow away from the boxes and settled back where he stayed throughout. WOOD HE (6) - Was also slow away but recovered to make up ground for 4th place. BIGTIME MICHELLE (7) - Was the favourite and was bumped and briefly unbalanced going into the first bend but was unable to take advantage of clear room ahead for the remainder and finished near the rear. |

Race 9 | FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520 | STINGER (5) - Was tightened early in in the race and settled back. SEDGEBROOK ANGEL (6) - Was bumped and unbalanced going to the first corner and then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. |

CRAZY SUNDAY (3) - was checked going into the bend and lost several lengths and all chance. ORANGEY YELLOW (6) - was galloped on going into the bend losing several lengths and stayed well back. SCISSOR CLIP (7) - Galloped on another runners heels going into the bend and lost four lengths. |

RAPPER TILLY (5) - was also slow away from the boxes losing two lengths and she then checked over heels going into the bend and shifted out forcing another runner very wide and she stayed back throughout the remainder. ROSIE (6) - Was forced very wide over extra ground going into the bend. |
