Judicial report: 1) STORMING NORM (Race 2) and SEA FEVER (Race 10), both trained by B Conner, and WOW MADONNA (Race 4) trained by M & P Binnie were all scratched free of penalty due to the adverse weather and road conditions in the South Island. 2) GOLDSTAR DALLAS (S & B Evans) was a late scratching from Race 7 when found to have wrist pain. 3) ASSERTING POWER (A Bradshaw) has completed 10 clear runs since being stood down on 24 March with this suspension cancelled as per Rule 55.7.

Checked by inside runner on bend losing ground. TAMARA MAY (3) - Came together with outside runner home turn. CABARITA (9/4) - Angled inwards back straight. MAUDIE'S BABE (5) - Ran outwards on turn and turned sideways losing ground. Continued to run wide home turn. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MY FIRST LITTER (6) - Angled inwards home turn contacting inside runner. SMASH LILLY (7) - Pushed very wide home turn.
Race 3	A2B Asphalt Canterbury Sprint - C3 - 295	MISS HARPER (1) - Angled outwards home turn. FROSTY ACTION (4) - Pushed up the track home turn. ROADWORKS (5) - Ran wide home turn. NICEY SPICEY (6) - Checked at start dropping to rear. Checked by inside runner into bend losing ground. Tightened late in run home. MANDI MAE (7) - Ran outwards into bend checking outside runner and dropped to rear. NIPPA-A-SPOT (8) - Raced wide around bend.
Race 4	Glenbyre Tavern Dash - C5 - 295	OHOKA BILLY (1) - Came together with outside runner into bend and continued to jostle for a few strides. Tightened from outside home turn. Assessed by vet and found to have a hip strain. BARCIA EXPRESS (3) - Ran outwards home turn. CUSTOM PAINT (4) - Checked outwards off heels home turn losing momentum. Assessed by vet and found to have split webbing. KNOW SCRUTINY (5) - Tightened by outside runner early stages. Came together with inside runner into bend and continued to jostle for some strides. Tightened from outside home turn. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. SARCASM (6) - Last on jumping. Badly checked on turn and ran outwards losing chance. Race 10	2017 Kolorful Kanvas Garden City Classic Final - R/Af - 520	TRUMPED (1) - Slow to jump. Checked off heels first bend. OPAWA BRAD (2) - Came together with outside runner back straight. Hit rail at the lure. Assessed by vet and found to have a cut to a leg with sutures required. SHADY SNAPPER (4) - Tightened and shifted outwards into first bend. WAIMAC (9/5) - Slow in early stages. SHIFT THE BLAME (6) - Checked by outside runner early stages losing ground. Tightened and ran outwards into back straight losing ground. DRAXLER (7) - Ran inwards early stages contacting inside runner and losing ground. Came together with inside runner back straight and turned sideways for a stride. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C5 - 295	SWIMMING GOAT (2) - Was checked by the vet after the race at the request of Trainer C Weir with no injury detected. TECHNIC (4) - Settled well back after outside runner ran inwards sharply at start. Held up for room into bend and lost momentum. SWEET ABBY LEE (5) - Ran sharply inwards at jump checking inside runner. Tightened by outside runner into bend. MISS FANNING (6) - Ran inwards into bend tightening runners. KNOW HASSLE (8) - Last to jump. Forced wide around bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	OITY ALLEN (1) - Ran outwards into bend causing checks to several runners then received check losing ground. ASSERTING POWER (3) - Slow to jump. Hampered into bend losing ground. TIP THE BABE (4) - Tightened early stages dropping to rear. Hampered into bend losing ground. SMASH BOMBER (5) - Checked by inside runner into bend losing ground. BELIEVE (6) - Checked by inside runner into bend losing ground. CARNEGIE HALL (7) - Contacted from behind when crossing down the track into bend and badly checked.
