Track: Good . Despite early showery conditions the weather improved during the meeting and the track was in a good safe condition.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: With the bitterly cold weather conditions, showers and windy weather Stewards, after consultation with the club, allowed some discretion in the dress code and headwear of handlers.

Race 1	Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	UNCLE JOCK (1) - shifted outwards in run to the turn checking trailing runner. Checked into the turn then ran wide on track checking trailing runners. GOLDSTAR SAWYER (2) - checked in the run to the turn. LAVARNO (6) - ran inwards into the turn checking runner to inside. BUBLIN MAX (7) - heels clipped into turn losing ground quickly. Checked on turn. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. GOLDSTAR RAVEN (8) - clipped heels of another runner into turn losing momentum then checked on turn.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	HUNGRY MACHINE (3) - bumped shortly after the jump losing ground early. BRAD BAXTER (5) - shifted abruply inwards shortly after the jump bumping runner to inside. HOMEBUSH STORMY (6) - ran outwards on turn dictating other runners wide. DAVE'S PICK (7) - dictated wide on turn. GOLDSTAR RENEE (8) - dictated outwards on turn and then ran wide in straight.
Race 3	Glamour Hooves Racing Stables Stakes - C0 - 545	EYREWELL LUCY (2) - ran outwards on first turn badly checking trailing runner and losing ground. TAKEN BY STORM (3) - dictated outwards and severely checked on first turn, losing ground. KOPUTAI (5) - ran sharply outwards from the jump checking and dictating runner to the outside wide on the track. Ran wide throughout. EYREWELL VALETTA (7) - forced wide from the jump losing ground. PEEKAY SHOUT (9/8) - bounded at the start losing ground early.
Race 4	Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C0 - 545	EYREWELL TANGO (4) - slow to jump. MELTING WORLD (5) - ran wide on first turn losing ground. EYREWELL VIENNA (6) - slow to jump. UNO ELEVEN (9/8) - ran wide on first turn losing ground.
Race 5	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310	BOTANY COLD (1) - tightened into turn and checked, falling and taking no competitive part in the race finishing a distant last. In falling checked two trailing runners. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. NIPPAOFSAMBUCCA (3) - checked into the turn losing ground. ADJUDICATOR (5) - checked and pushed wide on turn losing all chance. NIPPA EEL (6) - slow to jump. ANA DIOR (8) - checked and pushed wide on turn losing consiuderable ground. KNOCKA FEW BACK (9/4) - ran inwards into turn checking runners to inside.
Race 6	Green Island Barber Sprint - C3 - 310	HOMEBUSH RILEY (4) - pushed wide into straight losing ground. ASSERTING POWER (5) - shifted outwards at jump bumping and checking runner to outside. OXFORD RED (6) - bumped and checked at the start, then tightened in run to the turn. Ran outwards on turn and into straight dictating other runners wide. OPAWA BLINKY (7) - shifted inwards in run to the turn checking runner to inside. Checked between runners into turn losing ground, then dictated wide into straight.
Race 7	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C4 - 310	No racing incidents to report.
Race 8	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C1 - 545	SUBTERFUGE (2) - checked at end of back straight and in turn checked trailing runner. GOLDSTAR ARCHIE (3) - ran outwards on first turn checking trailling runner. Shifted inwards at end of back straight checking runner behind. AVALANCH CITY (6) - tightened at jump then checked when improving on first turn. Further checked at end of back straight. SOUTHERN HONEY (7) - slow and checked at jump. HOMEBUSH FLUTEY (8) - shifted inwards at jump checking runnerrs to insid then checked on first turn.
Race 9	Williams Signs and Graphix Ltd Sprint - C2 - 545	CAWBOURNE STEELE (4) - clipped heels of another runner uinto first turn then pushed wide losing ground. OBEYANCE (5) - checked at the jump. GOLDSTAR AVERY (6) - checked at the jump. LITTLE BIT FUNNY (7) - shifted abruptly inwards at jump checking runners at jump. ROCK BOTTOM (8) - heels clipped into first turn becoming unbalanced and running outwards pushing another runner wide. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 10	Green Island Barber Sprint - C2/3 - 545	PENALTY BALE (4) - checked at the jump. SHIFT THE BLAME (5) - pushed outwards into first turn tightening runner to outside. MYSTIC ACTION (6) - jumped awkwardly losing momentum. Tightened between runners in to first turn. FROSTY ACTION (9/3) - shifted outwards at jump checking runner to outside.
Race 11	Otago Distance - C1/2d - 770	HERITAGE WATCH (2) - checked into first turn. WAIMAC (6) - shifted ground inwards into first turn checking runner to inside.
Race 12	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C5 - 310	AMINO TROUBLE (5) - checked on the bend. OPAWA SHELDON (7) - shifted inwards on turn bumping runner to inside and lsoing ground.
Race 13	Racing Again Tuesday 25 July - C1 - 310	OPAWA BEAR (4) - struck rear of runner into turn when checked and lost all chance. MURPHY MAGIC (5) - tightened into the turn between runners, clipped heels of another runner and fell taking no competitive part in the race. A post race veterinary check revealed a ruptured ligament with a 30 day stand down recommended. GRAEBURN (7) - checked into turn losing ground. GOLDSTAR LINKIN (8) - rear clipped into turn becoming unbalanced and losing all chance. DETECTIVE DASH (10/6) - ran inwards into turn with heels clipped by trailing runner with resulting checks to trailing runners.
