OPAWA SMOKE (2) - Galloped on the back of another runner starting on the bend and lost several lengths and stayed back. THUNDER STORM (6) - Was galloped on and dragged down going into the bend, lost several lengths and finished a distance last. Was classed as falling and referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. |

JINJA COLL (3) - Was forced wide going into the bend and lost ground and never recovered. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (5) - Forced wide into the bend, lost ground and stayed back to finish last. BELLA JADE (8) - Shifted in when going to the lead entering the bend and caused crowding and checks to other runners which lost ground. |

SNOW BALL CHANCE (2) - Was bumped and unbalanced on jumping from the boxes and settled back. Then jostled for some distance going to the first turn and settled back where he stayed throughout. ANOTHER JAIME (3) - Bumped when jumping from the boxes, was unbalanced and settled back. Jostled for some distance going to the first turn and lost momentum and stayed well back. Was referred to the Vet and found to have a spike wound to the off hind foot. THRILLING MIA (7) - Following the race, was observed to be in season and was stood down for 28 days. |
| Race 4 | LASER PLUMBING C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | STINGER (3) - Was crowded soon after the start and settled back but made up ground for 4th place. GUNNA BLUE BLOOD (4) - Was reasonably handy going into the final bend but was checked losing five lengths and stayed well back. |
| Race 5 | WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305 | BRILLIANT ASHLEE (3) - Was bumped jumping from the boxes and inconvenienced and settled last but did make up some ground to finish 5th. OPAWA TOMMO (5) - Was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going into the bend and was eventually checked back to the rear and stayed there. |

HU XIAN (4) - Was handy going into the bend but was in tight quarters and was checked losing several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |

HAWKESBURY FEVER (9/4) - Was hampered when the start was made and settled back but recovered to make up ground and finished in 2nd place. |

She was then bumped and checked going into the first bend and drifted to eventually finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet and found to have pain in the right hind calf muscle. BIGTIME DAZZLER (6) - Was slow to begin and settled back but made up ground to finish in 4th place |
