Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: UNO NATHAN which had been a late scratching and stood down for 21 days at Auckland on 21.05.17, was re-presented today under the provisions of Rule 81.5 and cleared of injury and is now cleared to race. MR MAIZE and MISTER EBBY have both completed 10 clear runs after there initial stand downs and their papers were endorsed under Rule 79.7.

Race 1 Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375 SINGS LIKE ELVIS (2) - Was slow away from the boxes losing two lengths but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. VANOS (8) - Began awkwardly losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place.
Race 2 Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375 TOKI GIRL (3) - Was hampered going into the bend and lost momentum for a short distance. Was checked again on the bend and lost ground but recovered to finish 2nd. ATOMIC MISSILE (5) - Checked going into the bend losing momentum briefly and then raced wide for the remainder. TOTES (6) - Shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to other runners. GOODTIME LADY (7) - Checked when the start was made losing several lengths and all chance. BIGTIME BLUE (8) - Jumped in abruptly and went over the top of and landed on GOODTIME LADY with both runners losing several lengths. BIGTIME BLUE then made firm contact with the rail going into the bend and was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. PIKO PIKO (9/4) - Ran wide into the bend when avoiding other runners and stayed wide and finished in the rear group.
Race 3 Use Petraveller.com.au C4 - C4 - 375 OPAWA TOMMO (1) - Crowded from the outside after the start and went back to the rear group. CAWBOURNE STICK (2) - Tightened after the start and went back but recovered to finish in 3rd place. BIGTIME THINKER (3) - Tightened after the start, went back to last and stayed well back for the remainder. TAKAMORI (4) - Jumped in from the start and tightened other runners and was also hampered and lost ground. KING'S CALL (6) - Was handy on the bend but was bumped from the inside and unbalanced and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 4 Classic Restricted Age - R/A - 375 SPRING ALLEGRO (2) - Was tightened and checked losing several lengths going to the first turn and stayed back to finish several lengths last. Appeared uncomfortable in his action and was referred to the Vet and cleared of injury. DAISY LARA (4) - Checked over heels on the bend and lost momentum briefly. CAWBOURNE NATH (7) - Was slow to begin losing two lengths.
Race 5 Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 375 ACT NATURALLY (1) - Was tightened adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and was eventually checked back to last and stayed back to finish in that position. BIGTIME BASHER (2) - Shifted in going to the first turn and checked another runner and was also briefly hampered in the incident.
Race 6 Paul Claridge Electrical C3 - C3 - 375 BIGTIME BREAK (5) - Was the slowest to begin and settled back. Was then bumped and forced wide into the bend covering extra ground and stayed well back.
Race 7 Personal Protective Services C0 - C0 - 457 BIGTIME ALLGOOD (1) - Was slow to begin and settled back. Was checked going into the first turn and lost several lengths and stayed well back. SOZIN'S GALAXY (8) - Shifted in abruptly going into the first turn and collided with BIGTIME ALLGOOD losing several lengths and all chance.
Race 8 Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C1 - C1 - 457 HEZAMAN (1) - Was slow to begin losing two lengths. CAWBOURNE BRANDY (2) - Shifted out several widths from the start and hampered other runners. Continued to race wide covering extra ground but still finished in 2nd place. BONUS LOTTO (5) - Inconvenienced after the start by a wide runner. TAKE ACTION (10/3) - Inconvenienced for a short distance after the start by a wide runner shifting out. CAWBOURNE EXCITE (9/4) - Raced very wide on the bend and in the home straight and finished well back.
Race 9 Calendar Restricted Age - R/A - 457 The race was all clear.
Race 10 Plasterboard Silver Collar Heats 4th June C2d - C2d - 660 CAWBOURNE ESKI (2) - Slow to begin losing two lengths and then checked over heels going into the first bend losing further ground and he stayed well back. TRANQUIL BLOSSOM (4) - Got back from the start but gradually made up ground until the final bend when held up for several strides. Once into clear running, she finished well to win the race. OUR GYPSY (9/8) - Hampered going into the first bend and lost momentum for a short distance. Stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 11 Adrian Clark - Bloodstock Consultant C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 BIGTIME BAKAGAIN (4) - Checked when the start was made and went back to the rear but then made up ground well for 4th place. CAWBOURNE TODDY (5) - Hampered and forced in checking another runner when the start was made. UNCOMPLICATED (7) - Jumped in at the start and caused checks to other runners.
Race 12 Preston's Mater Butchers C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 SEE EYE AYE (4) - Bumped and unbalanced losing ground when the start was made and settled back where he stayed for the remainder. BIGTIME MCDADDY (5) - Bumped and unbalanced when the start was made and settled back but made up some ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 13 J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375 LISSADELL MARCUS (2) - Tightened going into the bend and inconvenienced for a short distance and lost ground. LIGHTNING LU (5) - Shifted in going into the bend and checked another runner. MANGAMAHU JACK (8) - Missed the start by several lengths and then shifted out to race wide into the home straight and finished 2nd last.
