Judicial report: Race 8 UNO NATHAN was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.03pm. Over the concluding stages of Race 1 the lure began to lose power with the leading runner within the required distance of the lure. The authorisation of dividends was withheld until such time Stewards were satisfied no runner had been materially affected by this variance. The lure was replaced twice and tested to satisfaction prior to start of the next event. Follow up from Waikato GRC on 18 May - D Schofield advised the following day that ZIPPING LINK (race 9) was showing signs of soreness over the ride side hindquarters and was subsequently scratched from todays meeting and has taken a 28 day stand down. PERCENTAGE GIRL which was not presented for a post race veterinary examination at Waikato GRC on 18 May was presented for a veterinary examination at todays meeting and found to have an injury to the left gracilis with a 42 day stand down imposed.

Shifted out off heels rounding the first turn contacting runners. DIVA POSE (5) - bumped rounding the bend. OPAWA SHY (6) - bumped after the start. Contact for a distance entering the first turn. Hampered rounding the first turn shifting out losing ground. RED DEE (7) - contact leaving the boxes becoming badly unbalanced then shifted in onto another runner losing ground. MAKE IT SNOW (8) - bumped leaving the boxes. Contact for a distance entering the first turn. Hampered rounding the first turn shifting out losing ground.
Race 2	Sandy Shane Stakes - C0 - 527	This was a 6 minute delay to the start of this event due to a mechanical issue with the lure following race 1. ELECTRIC LOTTO (1) - tightened racing toward the first turn making contact for a distance then losing ground rounding the first turn. SAN TAN SAMSON (2) - tightened making contact for a distance racing toward the first turn then angled in rounding the first bend into the line of another runner. KURI PAI (3) - tightened and hampered for a distance racing into the first turn becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. WAIROA WOLF (4) - contact after the start then tightened and hampered becoming unbalanced losing ground then taken wider rounding the first turn. Steadied off heels entering the bend leaving the back straight when racing at the rear of the field. Veterinary examination revealed left metacarpal pain with a 28 days stand down imposed. PRETTY IN PINK (5) - slow away then tightened and checked. HUMBLEBRAG (6) - contact after the start then tightened and jostled for a distance racing into the first turn losing ground and shifting out. WAIROA ANGEL (7) - slow away then inconvenienced. BIGTIME SASSY (8) - angled in after the start then made contact for a distance racing into the first turn losing ground. Steadied off heels entering the bend leaving the back straight when racing at the rear of the field.
Race 3	Pump and Engineering Ltd Sprint - C3/4 - 318	There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this event due to the delayed start time of race 2. HALLO STAR (3) - tightened after the start then jostled for a distance in the back straight losing ground. LOCHA KNOCKA (4) - angled in after the start making contact then jostled throughout the back straight losing ground entering the first turn. GOD PARTICLE (6) - bumped after the start. Made contact for a distance racing into the first turn. TUMBALAIOO (7) - bumped after the start. Made contact for a distance racing into the first turn then tightened and hampered losing ground. WHEELIE CHILLIE (8) - angled in rounding the first turn making contact. Angled in rounding the final bend colliding with another runner for several strides. IRINKA DARCY (9/1) - contact after the start then jostled for a distance in the back straight and entering the first turn. Tightened rounding the final bend making contact for several strides losing ground.
Race 4	Last One Standing 4/6 Sprint - C0 - 318	MAGNETUDE EIGHT (1) - contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Shifted out off heels first turn. TYNECASTLE FLYER (2) - slow away. Tightened and hampered soon after the start having to shift out across heels becoming unbalanced losing ground. Jostled for some distance rounding the bend shifting out rounding the final turn. BITTERS (3) - Contact for a distance after the start. Bumped first turn. BROTASTIC (5) - soon after the start shifted in off heels into the line of another runner getting briefly dragged down losing ground. Jostled for some distance rounding the turn becoming unbalanced rounding the final bend losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. EMOJI (6) - contact first turn becoming briefly unbalanced losing ground. VICTINI (7) - slow away. Checked first turn having to shift out off heels making contact losing ground. Tightened making contact entering the final straight. BODYGUARD (8) - slow away. Checked first turn contacting hindquarters and taken wider losing ground. Tightened making contact entering the final straight.
Race 5	Aqua Mouse Sprint - C1 - 318	SACRED CAN YOU (1) - bumped first turn. ALCUDIA (2) - contact after the start then tightened and checked entering the first turn losing ground. FRANKINCENSE (3) - tightened and checked after the start shifting out to obtain clear racing room. Inconvenienced first turn having to shift wider on the track. ON FLECK (4) - contact after the start and again on several occasions rounding the first turn. Tightened and inconvenienced for a distance rounding the bend. KEN WILDE (6) - tightened making contact after the start and again rounding the first turn. Attempted to angle in for a distance rounding the bend making contact on a number of occasions then losing ground entering the final straight and shifting in across the line of another runner. ON DEMAND (7) - bumped after the start then checked entering the first turn losing ground. Checked off heels entering the final straight.
Race 6	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Stakes Series Final - C1f - 527	PRINCESS ALEA (2) - tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn losing ground. ZARZUELLA (3) - bumped racing toward the first turn. ZIMMER FRAME (4) - contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Shifted out off heels entering the first turn. JINJA HEART (5) - contact for a distance after the start and again rounding the first turn. JOE JOE (6) - bumped after the start. JINJA MIA (7) - contacted hindquarters after the start. CAWBOURNE WALES (8) - raced wide throughout losing ground.

Came together in the final straight then jostled concluding stages. SOUTHERN BLUE (2) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Collided first turn losing ground. SCREAMING SKULL (3) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Checked first turn shifting out off heels losing ground. FANTASTIC RICKI (4) - bumped first turn shifting in making contact with the running rail losing ground. Steadied when tightened entering the back straight. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. WESTWORLD (5) - slow away then inconvenienced. Contact first turn losing ground. Shifted out off heels entering the final straight. Race 10	Leathwick A.Asia Sprint - C5 - 318	OBSTINATUS (2) - tightened making contact entering the first turn becoming briefly unbalanced. Bumped entering the final straight. FANTASTIC LUCY (3) - Bumped entering the final straight. VEGAS BURST (4) - slow away. Became uncomfortable in its action racing into the first turn shifting very wide losing contact with the field. A Post race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left gracilis with a 42 day stand down imposed. SKETCHY CHIEF (5) - contact entering the first turn becoming unbalanced shifting out onto another runner. JUMP UP (6) - tightened and checked entering the first turn losing ground. RAGING DEMON (7) - checked off heels entering the first turn losing ground. CLASSY IMPACT (8) - hampered first turn making contact and taken wider losing ground.
Race 11	Lochinvar Brando Stakes - C3 - 527	JINJA SQUEAK (3) - contact first turn. Bumped entering the final straight. TRON BRADMAN (4) - slow away. Checked entering the first turn shifting out off heels losing ground. OPAWA KIM (5) - slow away. Tightened entering the first turn making solid contact losing ground. Angled in making contact rounding the first turn then continued to make contact racing into the back straight losing ground. Lost contact with the field rounding the final bend. Post race veterinary examination revealed right hip support pain with a 10 day stand down imposed. BLOOMINGDALES (8) - angled in making contact for a distance racing toward the first turn. OPAWA KURU (9/1) - tightened making contact rounding the first turn and into the back straight losing ground. GOOD JOB (10/6) - tightened making contact for a distance racing toward the first turn then checked losing ground. Bumped entering the final straight.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	CARLUKE (1) - contact after the start. BIGTIME MOOLA (2) - contact after the start. OPAWA POPPY (3) - tightened making contact for a distance in the back straight becoming badly unbalanced entering the first turn losing considerable ground. Held up for a distance rounding the final bend shifting out making contact for several strides entering the final straight. PAT NOT PLAIT (4) - tightened making contact for a distance in the back straight becoming unbalanced entering the first turn losing ground. MR. MUMBLES (5) - tightened racing into the first turn making contact on several occasions shifting out losing ground. SKINNY ANKLES (6) - inconvenienced in the back straight shifting out off heels.
