Judicial report: 1). SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT: CHRISTCHURCH GRC – 5th May 2017: Race 4 – DREAM COLLECTOR AT STUD STAKES. Co- Trainer S Evans has advised that upon returning to his home kennels GOLDSTAR JAGGER was found to be lame. Veterinary examinations revealed the dog to have sustained a fractured hock necessitating its scratching from today’s assignment.

2). GOLDSTAR LINKIN completed a satisfactory trial and is now clear to start when its 28 day stand down expires.

GHISELLA (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. TERRA ALERT (3) - came down the track entering the bend placing pressure on inside runners. Placed in restricted room shortly after and lost considerable ground. UNFETTERED (4) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. JINJA LOCH (6) - checked outwards off heels shortly after the start. KABLITZ (8) - slow to leave the boxes.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C1 - 295	BIG CATCH (3) - checked outwards off heels early stages making contact with outside runner and losing momentum. Held up rounding bend. JINNO GINO (5) - bumped down track early stages bumping with inside runner. DUKE BAXTER (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages. EPIC FORCE (7) - came down track early stages making contact with inside runner.
Race 3	Flair Sprint - C1 - 295	KNOW BIAS (2) - squeezed for room entering the bend and had to steady. Checked outwards off heels exiting bend making contact with runner. ABACUS MAGIC (3) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. BEN JAMMING (4) - awkwardly placed on heels entering bend losing ground. Checked outwards off heels. Cleared of injury post race. MAX BRAINSTRAIN (5) - squeezed early. FLOWER BOMB (6) - ran with contact to inside runner through the early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels and had to steady entering the bend. OPAWA OPAL (8) - contacted from behind exiting the bend.
Race 4	DogZone Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH STEAL (1) - contacted from outside and lost ground before making possible contact with running rail. Cleared of injury post race. Kennel representative J McInerney (Jnr) advised it was their intention to spell the dog. CROTTY (2) - had to steady for a stride when awkwardly placed to the inside of runners rounding bend. ALEX RUMBLE (7) - Placed in restricted room rounding bend making contact with runner to its outside. Failed to regain balance and fall to the track. A post race vet check found the dog to have sustained a fractured right front Humerus. KNOW CHEERS (8) - Awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding bend before being terminally dragged down. Vet check cleared post race.
Race 5	Little Brown Jug Stakes - C1 - 520	MAGMA (1) - checked out off heels rounding first bend. NIPPA EEL (2) - lost momentum when in restricted room entering the first bend. GHOST (4) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend and had to check outwards. PENALTY BALE (5) - placed in restricted room prior to the fist bend before being dragged down losing ground. Vet check clear post race. LAGOON TWIST (6) - slightly dragged down final bend. Cleared of injury post race. CAWBOURNE LEAHA (8) - climbed on heels rounding final bend and had to check.
Race 6	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	ZORBA THE GREEK (3) - boxed first. Placed in restricted room entering bend and had to steady. JINJA WILLY (4) - began awkwardly and settled last. WHAT'S WONG (5) - squeezed for racing room first bend and lost ground. CHIPPY JORDY (7) - contacted inside runner entering bend.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Dash - C1 - 295	UNCONSCIONABLE (4) - squeezed for racing room early. ROO BALOO (5) - came down track early stages contacting inside runner. Squeezed for room rounding bend and had to steady. MINOR BRAINWAVE (8) - ran wide rounding bend.
Race 8	Anglers Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	CRAZY SUNDAY (1) - ran up track rounding bend. AD'S SPICE (4) - squeezed for room and had to steady rounding bend. GAME CONTROLLER (5) - came up the track early stages and bumped with outside runner. SWEET AS BRAD (6) - squeezed for room early stages. SMASH ATTACK (7) - came inwards early and bumped with inside runner.
Race 9	A2B Asphalt Canterbury Stakes - C1 - 520	SEA SPRAY ELSA (1) - jostled with outside runner in run to first bend. Ran wide down back straight. CAIRO (2) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Bumped with inside runner exiting final bend. DYNA HADVAR (3) - jostled with inside runner in run to first bend. Bumped with outside runner exiting final bend. OPAWA SOPHIE (5) - slow to jump. Ran wide down back straight. HELL'S A COMING (9/6) - turned inwards when bumped from outside entering first bend. CAWBOURNE SENOR (8) - contacted inside runner entering first bend.
Race 10	Fast Archer At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	VELVET GIRL (4) - bumped from outside early stages. Inconvenienced rounding first bend losing momentum. QADIR BALE (6) - squeezed early losing ground. Made contact with outside runner entering first bend. CHARLIE RUNKEL (7) - came down track early stages. Bumped from inside entering first bend before making contact with running rail. Vet check cleared post race.
Race 11	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	SLICK ACTION (1) - contacted from outside prior to the bend. ELORA (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. held up for racing room when again placed in restricted room rounding bend. FLAT PACK (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend becoming awkward on heels and losing ground. DRAGON QUEEN (7) - squeezed early and lost ground. COLERIDGE JIM (8) - boxed first. Inconvenienced entering bend losing momentum.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295	ANA DIOR (3) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. GOLDSTAR BOMBER (6) - contacted from the outside prior to the bend before have to steady and lose ground when placed in restricted room. FALCONHURST (7) - contacted inside runner prior to bend.
