Judicial report: BRADAM BEGINS and UNAWARES both completed satisfactory trials which were required under Rule 80.1. Trainer T.Pilcher was fined $ 50-00 under the provisions of Rule 71.1 c after placing the wrong rug number on his Greyhound ANGIE ZARR in race 4. Representatives for Trainers L.Cole and M.Gowan who both had runners scratched at Wanganui on Friday 28.04.17 and presented those greyhounds at todays meeting for vetting, were advised that they were outside the time allowed for presentation and that in future late presentation could result in 28 day stand downs being imposed.

BIGTIME ROSIE (4) - Checked going into the bend and lost three lengths and all chance. BEAUMONDE (5) - Was slow to begin and settled back. Checked over heels on the bend and shifted out losing ground and finished last. CAWBOURNE KAI (8) - Checked and lost ground going to the first turn but recovered to make up ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C0 Heat 2 - C0q - 410 Heat 2	BIGTIME JACK (1) - Bumped another runner when improving through on the inside on the bend. TOMORROW STAR (3) - Checked after the start and was then jostled and unbalanced going to the first turn and stayed back for the remainder to finish last. HOMEBUSH GISELE (5) - Began well but shifted in abruptly causing checks to other runners. Was jostled on the bend and unbalanced for some distance losing several lengths. BIGTIME OTTEY (6) - Began very awkwardly losing four lengths. Was then crowded from the outside going to the first turn and unbalanced losing ground. CAWBOURNE GIBBO (7) - Shifted in going to the first turn and crowded other runners and was itself checked and went back to last and stayed there.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	WETCHESTER (3) - Shifted out to race wide over extra ground approaching the home straight. BOTANY DIANNE (4) - Crowded and checked going to the bend and lost several lengths and all chance and stayed back. BIGTIME TALKER (6) - Checked when the start was made and settled back but made a big run out wide and went on to win the race. AMY BAXTER (7 - Shifted in abruptly from the start and caused a check. Jostled when placed in restricted room going into the bend and was shuffled back to the rear and stayed there.
Race 4	Use Petraveller.com.au C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	ROBINS ZARR HOOD (2) - Was crowded from the outside at the start and settled back. CAWBOURNE POTTSY (3) - Was tightened and jostled from the start and settled back wher he stayed throughout. BIGTIME FEVER (4) - Was dictated in from the start and soon after, bumped with another runner and was briefly unbalanced losing momentum. CAWBOURNE JARROD (9/5) - Jumped in abruptly from the start and inconvenienced several other runners for a short distance.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 375	TOKI GIRL (1) - Was jostled and unbalanced from the start when crowded from the outside for a short distance. KIWI BAXTER (2) - Jostled for a short distance after the start and lost momentum. Crowded from outside going into the bend and went back to near the rear and stayed there. BIGTIME SUGAR (3) - Shifted in from the start and caused checks to inside runners. KAY MARTING (4) - Tightened and checked back to the rear going into the bend and never recovered. BARN DOOR BILLY (7) - Shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to inside runners.
Race 6	Brooks Timing C2 - C2 - 375	UNO AGAIN (5) - Checked entering the home straight when racing at the rear. BILLY MARLOW (6) - Bumped after the start and briefly unbalanced and then raced wide but ran on for 3rd place. BIGTIME BREAK (7) - Began very awkwardly losing four lengths and then raced wide over ground on the bend. SCOTTA PIE (8) - Checked entering the home straight when racing at the rear.
Race 7	Paul Claridge Electrical C3 - C3 - 375	BIGTIME BLACKIE (4) - Became awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and was checked losing ground. FEEL THE FORCE (7) - Was bumped and turned sideways going into the bend and was unbalanced losing four lengths. YOU'RE THE BEST (8) - began awkwardly losing five lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place.
Race 8	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C1 - C1 - 410	CAWBOURNE DANIAL (4) - Was checked on the bend and lost momentum for a short distance. TAKE THE SHORTS (8) - Was slow to begin and lost three lengths. He was then checked on the bend and shifted out to race wide into the straight and finished well back.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	BIGTIME THINKER (8) - Was the slowest to begin losing four lengths and she then raced wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in the rear group.
Race 10	Adrian Clark - Bloodstock Consultant C1 - C1 - 457	The race was all clear.
Race 11	Prestons Master Butchers C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	APATCHE AJAY (1) - Was away well from the start but was not able to hold a good handy position and drifted back to last and finished there. SECRET AGENDA (5) - Bumped with another runner a short distance after the start and was briefly unbalanced losing momentum and settled back. CAWBOURNE ANGUS (9/3) - Was bumped and unbalanced after the start and settled back.
Race 12	Classic Restricted Age - R/A - 457	The race was all clear.
