SHADY SNAPPER ( 2 ) - tightened when improving along the inner racing in to the bend. BIGTIME NARELLE ( 3 ) - bumped at start- tightened and checked going back to the rear racing in to the bend. BIGTIME JANE ( 5 )fav - trailed the leader couldn't quicken in the run to the line. BIGTIME PADDY ( 7 ) - checked when racing between runners in to the bend. |
| Race 2 | Big Barrel Stakes C2d - C2d - 660 | CAWBOURNE ESKIE ( 1 ) fav - tightened and checked back to the rear racing in to the bend on the first occasion lost touch the field in the run along the back straight attempted to make ground racing across the top bend finishing towards the tail of the field and was referred to the vet and was found to have a left side pectoral muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended. TRANQUILL BLOSSOM ( 2 ) - severely tightened racing in to the first bend recovered good ground there after. STINGER ( 3 ) - raced midfield checked off heels soon after was checked again went off strides dropped back to the rear and was referred to the vet and was found to have an injury to the right lattimus dorsi muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended. |

CAWBOURNE PALMER ( 3 ) - in the run in to the bend was jostled and tightened angled over heels -checked again racing in to the bend when contacted from behind. MISTER EBBY ( 4 ) checked back towards the rear in the run to the bend recovered well to be narrowly beaten on the line. BIGTIME MONTY ( 6 ) - checked and forced to race wide in the run in to and across the top bend. |

RIDE AIN'T OVER ( 8 ) fav - raced widest in to the bend . |

TRANQUIL RUE ( 2 ) - tightened jostled and checked in the run to the bend- checked again soon after when caught between runners and went back. ALLEGRO BEATY ( 5 ) - jostled for some strides then checked losing position in the run in to the bend. NITEHAWKE ROSE ( 8 ) - checked in the run to the bend becoming unbalanced losing momentum racing wide in to the bend |
| Race 6 | Preston's Master Butchers C4 Final - C4f - 457 | CAWBOURNE JARROD ( 3 ) - dwelt and was last away raced widest in to the bend and was unable to improve there after. ALLEN HADRIAN ( 8 ) - raced in restricted room nearing and in to the home straight being held up for some strides. BIGTIME BAKAGAIN ( 9/4 ) raced handy to the home straight where the dog appeared to cramp up in the latter stages was referred to the vet with no stand down recommended after the dog recovered soon after. |

CAWBOURNE BRICK ( 4 ) - racing midfield in the run on to the bend ran on to the heels and went back a length or so. BIGTIME LADY ( 8 ) - began very awkwardly being last away by 6 lengths and was never in contention. CAWBOURNE CLOVER ( 10/3 ) - drifted in the run across the top bend finishing in the rear at the line. |
| Race 8 | Arch Lawrence Distance Invitation - INVd - 766 | TEEMARIA ( 1 ) - dropped to the rear racing to the post on the first occasion dropped off the pace and was never a chance there after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. Trainer A Lawrence was questioned regarding the dogs poor performance tonight and reported that due to a previous injury the dog may have been short on condition going in today's event. |
| Race 9 | Group 2 Palmerston North Gold Cup Invitation - INV - 457 | MARK'S BOY ( 2 ) severely crowded racing in to the bend becoming unbalanced and losing momentum back to midfield. STORM WARNING ( 3 ) - hampered in the early stages when in behind runners improved around runners racing across the top bend to finish strongly in the run home. SPRING ALLEGRO ( 4 ) - checked at the start - bumped soon after going to the outer raced wide in to the bend and was unable to improve. LETRON JAMES ( 5 ) - ran inwards from the jump checking other runners soon after bumped and went inwards crowding a runner on the inner for a couple of strides. OPAWA JIMBO ( 6 ) - held up in behind in the run to the bend. AMERICAN WARRIOR ( 7 ) fav - pushed in on to runners tightening inwards causing crowding and checks in the run to the bend. ALLEGRO GUN ( 8 ) - angled across from the jump causing crowding and checks to several runners on his inner in the run to the bend. |
