Track: Good The track was power harrowed on the 21-2-2017 with the Track being presented in a very good racing order throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: Supplementry to Palmerston North meeting on 20-2-2017 ( DOOSH ) J T McInerney was put on the box first list until further notice after being difficult to load away in race 9
LAST MAN ALIVE race 3 ( M Olden ) stood down rule ( 79.1b ) 1st offence 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to allegations of misconduct between a Handler and Track staff during the meeting.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	IT'S ALL ME ( 1 ) - dwelt at the start- checked in to the bend - became unbalanced for a couple of strides when angling outwards. DOUBLE BLUE ( 3 ) - ran outwards from the jump bumping in to ATE A LITTLE - DOUBLE BLUE angled outwards racing wide around bend in to the home straight. ZIGGY ATTACK ( 5 ) - forced wide in to bend. ALAMEIN KINETIC ( 6 ) - tightened in to bend resulting in checking runner on her inner. CAWBOURNE BROADY ( 7 ) fav - slow in to stride- forced to race wide when improving position in to the bend - bumped with another runner nearing the home turn losing a couple of lengths. ATE A LITTLE ( 8 ) - bumped soon after the start- checked in to bend losing some ground. MIGHTY ARTEMIS ( 9/4 ) - racing handy on to top bend checked out over heels coming together with CAWBOURNE BROADY hampering both runners for a couple of strides.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	MINUTE SIXTEEN ( 1 ) - checked in to bend losing momentum and ground. LIGHTNING ( 2 ) - angled in across the face of MINUTE SIXTEEN racing in to the bend -then ran wide. ALMANZA ( 3 ) - angled outwards soon after the start - was checked and forced to check out sharply off heels racing in to the bend and as a result lost all chance. HOWLIN' ACE ( 6 ) - checked soon after the start-checked and forced extremely wide losing balance for several strides and all chance soon after entering the bend and was referred to the Vet where no abnormalities were found. TOMORRPW STAR ( 7 ) - held up momentarily when avoiding heels racing in to the bend. CAWBOURNE GONSKI ( 8 ) fav - checked in to bend- forced to race wide for some strides to the home turn.
Race 3	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 FINAL - C0f - 520	BILLIE TEE ( 3 ) - was crowded when racing in restricted room racing in to the bend on the first occasion. LAST MAN ALIVE ( 8 ) - improved around runners towards the leading dogs nearing the home turn -LAST MAN ALIVE turned his head inwards and eased in the run to the line he was referred to the Vet and was found to have pain right deltoid and spike injury on a knuckle near hind a 14 day stand down was recommended. After viewing a replay and hearing submissions from Trainer M Olden LAST MAN ALIVE has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	KING CORMACK ( 2 ) - tightened and hampered for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. ANOTHER FLAG ( 6 ) - angled inwards tightening runners - checked outwards in to bend causing checks to runners in behind. ROCKY'S TOO MUCH ( 8 ) - checked and ran wide in to the bend. MISS MUFFET ( 9/5 ) - forced to check off heels ran wide in to bend
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	MILLY RIVERS ( 5 ) - bumped with TODD BLUE BLOOD soon after the start- bumped with CAWBOURNE WESTY racing in to the bend on the first occasion. CAWBOURNE WESTY ( 7 ) was bumped and hampered racing in to the bend on the first occasion. TODD BLUE BLOOD ( 9/4 ) - bumped soon after the start -jostled and ran out across the face of runners racing in to the bend on the first occasion.
Race 6	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C0 - C0 - 305	ZARZUELLA ( 2 ) -racing in tight quarters in to the bend bumped and jostled with other runners. PIKO PIKO ( 3 ) - hampered in to the bend for several strides. ZONIC BLUE ( 4 ) - became awkwardly placed racing in to the bend drifting to the rear and was unable to improve -was referred to the Vet and was found to have pain right quadriceps and left hip support muscle a 10 day stand down was imposed. UNFLINCHING ( 6 ) - angled inwards causing himself to be checked racing in to the bend losing some ground. KNOCK COBANNA ( 7 ) - bumped and jostled with another runner for some distance in the run around the bend to the home straight. MAHALA BAY ( 8 ) - was jostled and hampered for some distance in the run in to and around the bend to the home straight.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	KIRKHAM HARVEY ( 3 ) - led out in to the bend on the first occasion and was galloped on running wide -went amiss and failed to finish the race and was referred to the Vet and was found to have a fracture of the right hock. TAMMY'S FIRE ( 5 ) - galloped on to the heels of KIRKHAM HARVEY bumping and jostling with this runner and was checked to the outer losing all chance there after. LOO LOO BLUE ( 9/2 ) - drifted racing in to the bend on the first occasion and was unable to improve there after referred to the Vet and was found to have pain in the near deltoid area and slow hock reaction to the off side when tested a 7 day stand down was imposed.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	ORANGEY YELOLOW ( 1 ) -tightened and jostled in to the bend losing ground. EL HEFE ( 2 ) fav- ran on to heels racing across the top bend losing momentum and went back to the rear was unable to improve there after. BOYISH CHARMS ( 4 ) - was clipped from behind resulting in him running wide in to the bend.
Race 9	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE OWEN ( 2 ) fav - dwelt at the start - soon after bumped with the inside runner and made ground to midfield was unable to quicken in the run home- was referred to the Vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. SCODELARIO ( 3 ) - was tightened and checked going back racing in to the bend on the first occasion. KING HIT MIKE ( 8 ) - was bumped and forced to race wide in to and around the bend on the first occasion.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	SERGIO STAR ( 1 ) - was tightened jostled and checked back in the run to the bend. BIGTIME RACER ( 2 ) fav - tightened in on to the inside runner bumping and jostling for a couple of strides racing to the bend. CAWBOURNE JAZZY ( 4 ) - angled outwards from the jump raced in the rear and was never in contention thereafter -referred to the Vet and was found to have pain over the right metacarpal a 7 day stand down was imposed.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	LURE ME IN ( 4 ) - checked and held up racing in to the bend on the first occasion. WORLD FREAKSHOW ( 5 ) - severely checked running in to the hind of WHATA SHEMOZZLE - stumbled going wide and losing all chance there after- referred to the Vet and was found to have pain right carpus on flexion a 14 day stand down was imposed. NOONOO ( 6 ) - badly checked and ran wide in to the bend on the first occasion - made good ground there after to get back in to contention. WHATA SHEMOZZLE ( 7 ) - severely checked and dragged down on her haunches racing in to the bend on the first occasion - she recovered her footing having lost all chance and was referred to the Vet and was found to have slow reaction on palpation of the right hock a 7 day stand down was imposed. CAWBOURNE FROST ( 8 ) - angled across racing to the first bend causing severe interference to several runners on her inner.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	All clear
Race 13	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	LISSADELL MARCUS ( 5 ) - bumped and jostled with CAWBOURNE DIEGO racing in to the bend. CAWBOURNE DIEGO ( 6 ) - bumped and jostled with another runner becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides racing in to the bend. TAKEAWAY ( 9/2 ) - made contact with rail racing in to the bend losing some ground- due to a missed communication the information for a vet check did not go through -the Stewards have contacted the Trainer's to report if they find anything amiss with the dog in the next couple of days.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	WONG FULL ARREST ( 1 ) - tightened and checked in to bend going back on to another runner. ALLEGRO SENOR ( 2 ) - tightened on to the heels of WONG FULL ARREST in to the bend lost momentum back to the rear. HOMEBUSH ROCKY ( 6 ) - angled across causing tightening and checks to several runners racing in to the bend. LEKTRA SPIDER ( 7 ) - tightened and pushed in on to runners racing in to the bend.
Race 15	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	LISSADELL BABE ( 2 ) - when racing handy to the bend was crowded and jostled between runners checking back off heels losing ground towards the rear. HANOVER STATE ( 5 ) - when improving wider out was forced to check over heels nearing the home turn.
