Judicial report: Trainers G & J Clarke were fined $ 100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69.11 when CASUAL SLIPPER was presented 1.7 kilograms down in weight from the last start on 04.01.17. SWIFTLY CHLOE, an entrant in race 12 was incorrectly late scratched but later reinstated to the field and inquiries are continuing to establish who had authorised the scratching.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	DON'T MENTION IT (1) - Hampered and briefly unbalanced going to the first corner but recovered to win the race. CAWBOURNE KAZ (2) - Bumped and briefly unbalanced after the start. CAWBOURNE MACK (3) - Slow to begin and settled back where she stayed throughout. CAWBOURNE KAZ (4) - Bumped after the start and briefly unbalanced but recovered to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE GIBBO (5) - Slow to begin and stayed well back. BUDDY SWIFT (8) - Slow to begin and then hampered going into and around the bend and finished several lengths last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a grade 3 Tricep muscle injury.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375	CAWBOURNE KAI (4) - Slow to begin and settled at the rear and he never got closer than mid field. STAY FROSTY (6) - Shifted out going to the first turn and raced very wide over extra ground for the remainder and finished 7th. CAWBOURNE LOOKS (7) - Forced wide over extra ground on the bend and never recovered and finished last.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375	CASUAL SLIPPER (1) - Began awkwardly and settled back and was then bumped going to the first turn and lost further ground. He then drifted further off the back of the field and finished a distant last. Was referred to the Vet and found to have pectineus, tricep and hip support injuries. KNEAD YOU (5) - Checked off heels on the bend and was unbalanced and shifted out to enter the home straight wide and finished in the rear group.
Race 4	Use petraveller.com.au C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	CAWBOURNE NATH (1) - Began awkwardly and settled at the rear. He then eased off heels going into the bend losing two lengths but did run on for 5th place when able to gain clear running.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 375	BANSHEE BOY (6) - Crowded from the start and settled back where he stayed throughout. THRILLING CASSIE (7) - Crowded from the outside after the start, jostled for some distance and stayed back to finish in last place. SAMMY BAXTER (9/4) - Crowded from the start and settled back where she stayed throughout the race.
Race 6	Personal Protective Services Ltd C2 - C2 - 375	The race was all clear.
Race 7	Arch Lawrence Invitation 766m 31st March C3 - C3 - 375	THRILLING BERRY (4) - Crowded and checked when the start was made, settled back and finished in the rear group. UNO NATHAN (5) - Crowded from the start and settled back. Checked going into the bend and again on the bend and stayed back from there to the finish. CAWBOURNE GIL (9/7) - Crowded from the start and settled back where he stayed throughout.
Race 8	Palmerston North Gold Cup 31st March C4 - C4 - 375	COOL RYTHM (2) - Jostled for a short distance after the start and then tightened and checked losing ground. RAIN AND TEARS (3) - Jostled for a short distance after the start and then tightened losing ground and stayed well back. AMERICANO (4) - Jostled for a short distance after the start and settled back. Bumped and checked on the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and stayed back to finish last.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C1 - C1 - 457	UNBEKNOWN (2) - Bumped and pushed wide after the start and then checked from behind and unbalanced soon after. Stayed out wide covering extra ground and finished well back. WATCH MY BACK (8) - Slow to begin and then checked over heels losing further ground. Finished well when securing an inside run and finished in 3rd place.
Race 10	Steve 'The Auctioneer' Davis C1 - C1 - 457	TRICK ME VARA (2) - Began very awkwardly and was then checked and lost five lengths. Raced very wide throughout over extra ground and finished last.
Race 11	Adrian Clark- Bloodstock Consultant C2 - C2 - 457	BIGTIME LONESTAR (7) = Jostled going into the bend, lost momentum and several lengths and never recovered. ARCANE RAMPAGE (8) - Jostled going into the bend and lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 12	Preston's Master Butchers C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	VEGAS DANNY (2) - Led into the bend but was galloped on and checked and went back quickly to the rear and never recovered. MAP MY RUN (6) - Hampered at the start and settled in last place. Was held up in restricted room in the home straight and had to ease for a short distance. CAWBOURNE CLOVER (7) - Was jostled for some distance going to the first turn and settled at the rear. Was held up again on the bend when in restricted room but finished on into 5th place when into clear running.
Race 13	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 375	WETCHESTER (5) - Was hampered when the start was made and settled back. He then raced a little wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. PLUM KRAZY (7) - Very slow to begin and stayed well back throughout.
Race 14	www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375	BILLY MARLOW (5) - Checked from the start and then jostled for some distance going to the first corner and settled back. Checked off the back of another runner going into the bend and shifted out losing further ground and stayed back. CONSUMATE EASE (6) - Hampered from the start and settled back and then ran home well for 3rd placing. HANOVER STATE (7) - Jostled for some distance after the start and then bumped and unbalanced going into the bend losing ground. WHATA SHEMOZZEL (8) - Galloped on and unbalanced losing ground going into the bend and stayed back for the remainder.
