Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: UNVERIFIED ( J McInerney ) was represented per rule ( 81.5/ 6 ) and was found to be clear of a Seasonal complaint- stand down imposed on the 11-1-2017 recinded from today.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	CAWBOURNE CENTS ( 2 ) fav - severely crowded and fell racing to the bend on the first occasion - recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis area. CHARLIE BO BO ( 3 ) - slow away by several lengths- checked in to bend on the first occasion. LADY ZEENA ( 4 ) - severely checked racing to the bend on the first occasion - referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. AUTUMN LIGHTS ( 7 ) - hampered in to running wide in to bend on the first occasion appeared to be uncomfortable for some strides there after was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the near carpus and accessary carpal bone. BIGTIME JASON ( 8 ) - checked in to bend on the first occasion. BIGTIME LONESTAR ( 9/6 ) - severely tightened and checked in to bend on the first occasion.
Race 2	FIRST SECURITY C2 F - C2f - 520	KIRKHAM HARVEY ( 2 ) - checked over heels racing wide in to bend on the first occasion. BOSTON LIGHTNING ( 3 ) - tightened and checked back racing in to bend. NITEHAWK ROSE ( 5 ) fav - went up with the lids being last away by several lengths lay in tightening inside runner in the run to the line. CAWBOURNE GUNNA ( 9/4 ) - tightened losing momentum for a few strides in the run to the line.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C4 - C4 - 520	HELENA ALLEN ( 2 ) - was tightened and jostled in to bend on the first occasion. SWIFTLY CHOLE ( 3 ) - was tightened and jostled in bend on the first occasion. KIRKHAM KYLIE ( 6 ) - tightened and checked in to bend on the first occasion. CAWBOURNE BRICK ( 8 ) fav - held up for some distance in the first half of the race. MISS ELDORA ( 9//7 ) - bumped and checked catching heels soon after the start.
Race 4	NZ Racing Series Sprint Ht1 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 1	HARD MRCH ( 2 ) - tightened and checked in to bend. DOOSH ( 3 ) - tightened and checked in to bend. DREAMZONE ( 4 ) - tightened and checked in to bend. BIGTIME THINKER ( 5 ) fav - angled across tightening several runners in to the bend. DON'T BRAG ( 7 ) - forced wide in to bend. KENNEL BOY ( 8 ) - slowest in to stride by several lengths. AFRICAN PRINCESS ( 9/6 ) - forced to check wide racing on to heels in to bend.
Race 5	NZ Racing Series Sprint Ht 2 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 2	ALLEGRO RUNNINGS ( 2 ) - jostled in the early stages. CHEAP SHOT MATTY ( 3 ) fav - tightened and checked back to the rear in the early stages. STOLE ME WALLET ( 6 ) - hampered for a couple of strides racing in to bend. MAP MY RUN ( 7 ) - forced in on to the hind of inside runner resulting in being checked back several lengths racing in to bend. KING'S CALL ( 8 ) forced to race wide throughout.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Sprint Ht 3 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 3	FUNKY FREDDY ( 2 ) - jostled and checked in to bend losing ground -came together with another runner in the run to the line. DOWNGRADE KING ( 3 ) - tightened and checked soon after start- checked again losing ground racing in to the bend. JUMP UP ( 4 ) - ran in from the jump bumped and jostled with another runner for some strides ran wide across top bend bumped with another runner racing to the line. LET'S GO SPRITE ( 7 ) - held up for several strides racing in to the bend-
Race 7	NZ Racing Series Sprint H 4 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 4	BIGTIME SPEEDY ( 1 ) - tightened and checked racing to the bend. HIGHLAND LADDIE ( 3 ) - tightened between runners checked back to the rear racing in to the bend. MARY BLUE BLOOD ( 6 ) - raced wide in to and across the top bend. RAIN AND TEARS ( 7 ) - angled across coming together and tightening runners on her inner racing in to the bend.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA C2 - C2 - 305	ELECTRIC DANDY ( 3 ) - was bumped and forced inwards and jostled for some strides losing ground racing in to the bend. ROCKET JEWEL ( 4 ) - bumped and jostled soon after the start went back off heels - hurdled fallen runner racing in to the bend losing all chance. CAWBOURNE POTTSY ( 6 ) - forced inwards from the jump being bumping and jostling with runners on his inner - caught a heel stumbled and fell racing in to the bend recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure was referred to the Vet and was found to have pain in the right hind quadriceps. UNO BRENT ( 7 ) - angled inwards from the jump causing tightening and checks to runners on his inner for some distance. BIGTIME TAYLOR ( 8 ) forced to race wide when avoiding interference racing in to and across the top bend.
Race 9	Hatrick Classic (Group 1) Ht1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE KRISTY ( 2 ) - was severely checked racing to the bend on the first occasion going back to the rear and finished a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the Vet and was found to have torn a triceps muscle on the near fore. ABSINTHE MINDED ( 3 ) - was severely checked running in to the hind of another runner racing to the bend on the first occasion. LETRON JAMES ( 6 ) - was referred to the Vet at the handlers request where he had sustained a small laceration to the left hind that required a couple of staples and bandaging. THRILLING BORIS ( 7 ) fav - was forced to race widest around the bend to the back straight settled forward of midfield.
Race 10	Hatrick Classic (Group 1) Ht 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	TOP PROSECUTOR ( 7 ) - led to the far side where he drifted back several places finishing amongst the beaten runners at the line. Handler P Freeman was spoken to later by phone and will inform the Stewards as to the dogs condition in the next couple of days. PAUL DOZER ( 5 ) was vetted at the handlers request and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind -no stand down imposed.
Race 11	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	OPAWA BLAIR ( 3 ) - was bumped hard outwards over heels soon after the start. HU XIAN ( 5 ) - led out was checked back racing in to the bend and was then checked as another runner raced through on his inner bumping him out on to another runner. PIXIE DUST ( 6 ) - improved along the inner racing in to the bend bumping and checking the runner on her outer. OPAWA LACHLAN ( 9/2 ) - soon after the start attempted to run outwards sharply causing checks to several runners.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	STORMY DAYS ( 2 ) - after beginning awkwardly was jostled and bumped for some distance racing in to the bend losing her position back towards the rear and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. OPAWA TOMMO ( 3 ) - was bumped across heels soon after the start. IF IT FITZ ( 4 ) - was bumped inwards pushing the runner on her inner across heels. BIG BOY DENO ( 5 ) - angled across from the jump tightening several runners on his inner and was checked racing in to the bend when catching heels. ASTERIA ( 6 ) - ducked in to a gap racing in to the bend resulting in a couple of runners catching her heels. SO OVER IT ( 7 ) - was checked racing in to the bend catching heels as a runner came back.
