Track: Good The Stewards were concerned with the condition of the Track on arrival 3 hours before the first race and instructed the Curator to continue to work on the track with grooming equipment. This work continued until the Stewards and a delegation of Club Representatives and Trainers were satisfied that track conditions were safe for racing and this decision was reached 40 minutes before the first race and the meeting then proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: Handler D.Poutama was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 87.1 y of the Minor Infringement Table for failure to comply with the dress code.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH GRACIE (2) - Was crowded from both sides when the start was made and settled back where she stayed throughout. BILLIE TEE (6) - Was bumped and checked on the bend losing ground and stayed well back. CAWBOURNE JEFF (7) - Was bumped and severely checked on the bend losing several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 FINAL - C0f - 520	GEORDIE WHO (1) - Held up for some distance on the final bend but finished well to win when in clear running. LAST MAN ALIVE (4) - Checked and lost ground going to the first turn but made up ground for 4th place. PIKO PIKO (5) - Hampered in the run to the first turn and lost momentum and stayed well back. WATCH YOUR BACK (9/2) - Bumped and unbalanced going to the first corner and stayed well back for the remainder.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	CAMILA BAXTER (2) - Slow to begin and stayed well back throughout. ALAMEIN KINETIC (4) - Dwelt at the start losing ground but ran on to finish in 4th place. CROOKED HILLARY (5) - Slow away from the boxes and settled back where she stayed throughout.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE MUZZA (4) - Hampered going to the first corner and raced a little wide after covering extra ground but ran on to win the race. METEOR VEGE (8) - Raced in a handy position until hampered approaching the home straight where she lost ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 5	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE JAZZY (4) - Checked and unbalanced going to the first corner and stayed back for the remainder to finish last. OPAWA SHILOH (6) - Checked and unbalanced going to the first corner and she was unable to make up the lost ground and finished well back.
Race 6	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	STOLE ME CAR (4) - Bumped and lost ground at the start but recovered to finish well and win the race. CAWBOURNE MACK (6) - Checked losing several lengths on the bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	ANOTHER KEY (1) - Was slow away from the boxes losing three lengths. He was then checked going into the bend losing further ground and stayed well back for the remainder. BUZZY AS (5) - Was tightened between runners going to the first turn and was checked and unbalanced losing three lengths and stayed well back.
Race 9	J P PRINT PETONE C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	TRICK ME VARA (1) - Checked off another runners heels from the start and settled back. Then raced wide covering extra ground on the bend. BADUZZI (3) - Was hampered from behind from the start and settled back where he stayed throughout. RANGER'S WALTZ (5) - Was hampered from the start and settled back where he stayed throughout.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY CI Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	MMADSTONE (4) - Was very slow away from the boxes losing four lengths and he stayed well back throughout. SERVE YA PURPOSE (8) - Stayed wide throughout from box 8 and covered extra ground as a result. CONSUMATE EASE (9/7) - Raced wide throughout over extra ground and finished 5th.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	BILLY MARLOW (4) - Began awkwardly and bumped losing momentum. Shifted out to race wide into the bend and finished well back. CHAOS THEORY (5) - Checked when the start was made and settled back where she stayed throughout. HYPOCRITICAL (6) - Checked at the start but recovered to finish in 3rd place. UNO AGAIN (7) - Forced wide over extra ground going into the bend and stayed well back.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 Ht 5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	SEDGEBROOK ASSET (7) - Was slow to begin and stayed back throughout to finish in last place. CAWBOURNE LYNS (8) - Slow to begin and stayed back throughout to finish near the rear.
Race 13	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	BUTTERBALL (2) - Was jostled going to the first turn and lost ground and stayed back to finish last. IDOL MARK (3) - Checked back to the rear going to the first turn and then shifted out to race wide but made ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 Ht7 - C1q - 305 Heat 7	WORKING JEWEL (2) - Became awkwardly positioned in restricted room adjacent to the rail going into the first corner and checked back to the rear and stayed there.
Race 15	LASER PLUMBING C1 Ht8 - C1q - 305 Heat 8	MANU RAMA (4) - Hampered when the start was made and settled back where he stayed throughout. TERRA TRIP (5) - Was bumped and hampered for a short distance after the start and he never recovered the lost ground.
