Track: Good .The club advised Stewards that the safety rail on the track at the pull up area would be extended to the 310m boxes to avoid the situation whereby the lure when it stopped was being pushed past the current safety rail. The problem had been highlighted by the installation of the new running rail which allowed the lure carriage to move more easily.

Judicial report: ROOKIE RACER (B.Conner) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in Blinkers in accordance with Rule 68.18 and is authorised to wear these in future races.

CRAZY SUNDAY (4) - ran outwards into the turn dictating other runners wide. HUNGRY MACHINE (6) - briefly stumbled at the jump becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. Checked into straight. SERGIO STAR (7) - dictated wide into turn. WAIMAK SHEFF (9/8) - forced wide into turn checking trailing runners and pushing them wide on track, then checked another runner into the straight.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	KNOW BIAS (1) - badly checked into turn losing ground and checking trailing runner. Then dictated wide by falling runner. A post race veterinary checked revealed no injury sustained in the incident. KIWI BAXTER (2) - slow to jump. KNOCKA FEW BACK (3) - checked into turn then became unbalanced when clipped from behind and briefly stumbling. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury sustained as a result of the incident. MONACO DENVER (4) - badly checked into turn and fell losing all chance. Referred to the vet for assessment. RIB CURLER (5) - checked into turn. WINNE WILLOW (7) - checked at jump. ANOTHER CRUISE (8) - shifted inwards at jump checking runner to inside. Then checked and dictated wide by falling runner.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C0 - 545	TRENDY BLAKE (2) - checked at jump. GENTLEMAN TIM (3) - shifted inwards at jump checking runner to inside then ran out wide into first turn losing several lengths and forcing another runner wide. OPAWA SLEDGE (9/8) - dictated wide into first turn.
Race 4	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	THORACIC (2) - shifted ground outwards into first turn pushing runners wide. STORMING MACK (3) - checked into first turn and pushed wide. LUCIASTAR (5) - checked into first turn, becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. Then shifted ground outwards into final bend checking another runner. DAN BLUE BLOOD (6) - checked into first turn and pushed wide. NO TINKERBELL (8) - checked and dipped into final bend losing momentum.
Race 5	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310	OPAWA OPAL (1) - badly checked into turn and lost all chance. HOMEBUSH FINE (4) - struck from behind into turn becoming unbalanced and pushed outwards checking trailing runner. KALONGA (5) - clipped rear of another runner into turn and lost ground.
Race 6	Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C2 - 310	FIERY FAGAN (6) - pushed outwards at jump checking runner to outside, and then ran outwards into turn checking runner to outer. ANOTHER SPIN (8) - ran inwards at jump tightening runner to inside and then pushed wide into turn. TRICKY ACTION (9) - shifted ground outwards into turn checking trailing runner. AVALANCH CITY (10/7) - checked at jump and again into turn when dictated wide and forcing trailing runner wider.
Race 7	Bramwell Scaffolding Stakes - C2 - 545	TRUST ISSUES (5) - checked into first turn. ANA DIOR (6) - clipped from behind into first turn losing balance and momentum. OPAWA ALEX (7) - tightened at jump and dictated wide into first turn. NINA BAXTER (8) - ran inwards at jump tightening runners to inside and again into first turn clipping rear of another runner and checking trailing runner. SUBTERFUGE (9/4) - tightened at jump.
Race 8	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C3 - 545	OPAWA JMBO (1) - jumped awkwardly and lost several lengths. GOLDSTAR AVERY (4) - checked outwards off runner into first turn and ran wide on track. PUKEKO BOLT (6) - checked at jump. KNOW NEGLECT (9) - ran inwards into first turn checking runner to inside and forcing trailing runner to check outwards. Dictated wide on first turn. JON SNOW LIVES (10/5) - shifted outwards at jump checking runner to outside, and then received a check into first turn. On first turn ran outwards dictating runners wide.
Race 9	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C4 - 545	GOLDSTAR DALLAS (3) - checked outwards off heels on first turn dictating runner wide. ACE BALE (4) - tightened between runners shortly after jump losing momentum. LEKTRA CONCORD (5) - checked in run to the first turn. FEKITOA (6) - shifted ground inwards in run to the first turn checking runner to inside. MAJESTIC ACTION (7) - dictated wide on first turn.
Race 10	Otago Daily Times Sprint - C3/4 - 310	HOMEBUSH ERROL (1) - pushed outwards in run to the turn checking runner to outside. OPAWA ROCKET (2) - checked shortly after the jump by runner to outside, and then tightened as runner to inside pushed outwards. Struck the running rail when dictated sharply inwards into the turn. A post race vet check revealed no injury sustained as a result. OPAWA VAL (3) - checked shortly after jump and ran wide on turn. DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (5) - ran inwards shortly after the jump checking runners to inside, and then ran abruptly inwards into turn severely checking runner to inside and losing ground.
Race 11	Green Island Barber Dash - C5 - 310	HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) - checked in run to the turn and again into turn.. SOUTHERN MIST (5) - shifted ground inwards in run to turn checking runner to inside. HOMEBUSH KELSO (6) - slow to jump and held up into turn. TECHNIC (7) - checked at jump. PUMA PANTS (8) - ran inwards at jump checking runner to inside. TEE TIME (9/2) - tightened into turn losing momentum and holding up trailing runners.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 20th December - C3 - 310	ANOTHER LIZ (2) - checked on turn losing ground. KNOW SCRUTINY (3) - shifted ground inwards on turn checking runner to inside and also trailing runners. HIS NIBS (4) - held up for room on turn. HOMEBUSH SLOAN (5) - checked on turn. SUPER BAD (6) - checked outwards off heels on turn and ran wide.
