HOMEBUSH MYRA (10/4) - pushed outwards in run to the turn checking runner to outside, and then severely checked into turn as another runner crossed losing all chance. |

| Race 8 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1/2 - 545 | CAWBOURNE JAZZY (4) - shifted ground outwards at jump checking runner to outside, then forced to check off heels into first turn dictating another runner wide. SPRING SAM (5) - checked at jump. CAWBOURNE PANIC (8) - dictated wide into first turn. Stewards reviewed the coverage of the race in the presence of co-trainer J.Lane to ensure that the race winner OPAWA JEMAINE (2) had not infringed Rule 79 in the back straight. Stewards concluded that OPAWA JEMAINE, despite having looked outwards, had not marred any runner and had not eased up but had continued to pursue and finished on the race strongly to win by several lengths. No further action was deemed necessary. |
