Race 10	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	FRAPPUCINO ( 1 ) fav ) was tightened and checked racing in to the bend on the first occasion NITEHAWK ROSE ( 3 ) came together with FRAPPUCINO racing in to the first bend NITEHAWKE ROSE came outwards bumping in to MAKING TIME ( 6 ) with both runners losing several lengths KIRKHAM JASPER ( 4 ) led to the home turn and ran outwards when weakening bumping with ALLEGRO BEATY ( 5 )
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	THUNDERATION was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint HOMEBUSH RUFUS ( 1 ) was bumped in the run to the bend and soon angled outwards sharply causing checks to a couple of runners ALL IN BERLIN ( 3 ) ran in soon after the start bumping with HOMEBUSH RUFUS ,ALL IN BERLIN then ran out across heels then angled back in racing in to the bend BRITNEY STAR ( 4 ) racing midfield in to the bend was bumped and checked outwards as HOMEBUSH RUFUS came out sharply from the inner BRITNEY STAR became awkwardly balanced losing ground finishing a margin in the rear and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have suffered a right hock injury BOX OF FLUFFIES ( 6 ) was severely checked racing in to the bend as HOMEBUSH RUFUS ran outwards sharply, BOX OF FLUFFIES lost momentum going back towards the rear
