Race 1 Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday - C1 - 375 MIDNIGHT ENEMY (2) - Awkwardly placed in restricted room on the bend and shuffled back to rear. IRISH EYES (5) - Forced wide throughout over extra ground but finished 3rd. CAWBOURNE MARTIN (6) - Raced a little wide throughout but finished well for 2nd. REPEAT VISIT (7) - Slow to begin and stayed back to finish last.
Race 2 JP Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375 STEEL THE GOLD (1) - Crowded from the start losing ground. CAWBOURNE MORRIS (2) - Crowded from the start loosing ground and stayed back. ADRENALIN KICK (3) - Tightened and checked back to the rear going into the bend and stayed back for the remainder. CAWBOURNE GEORGE was referred to the Vet and found to have a toe laceration.
Race 3 Buck Fever@ Stud C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 ANGIE ZARR (1) - Checked on the bend and went back to the rear and finished last. ASTERIA (3) - Bumped going into the bend and lost three lengths and hampered again on the bend and stayed back. SKUZI (4) - Bumped going into the bend losing momentum but recovered to finish 2nd. AMERICANO (5) - Forced wide on the bend but made up ground for 3rd. LONE STAR LAD (7) - Inconvenienced from the start and settled back then covered extra ground going wide on the bend.
Race 4 GAP C2 - C2 - 375 CAWBOURNE NATH (3) - Tightened from the start and lost ground. Raced wide on the bend and was bumped and unbalanced into the home straight and finished last. CAWBOURNE MERL (4) - Tightened from the start and lost ground. BELFAST EEJIT (5) - Was crowded and settled back from the start and then raced wide over extra ground throughout.
Race 5 Shakey Jakey @ Stud C3 - C3 - 375 CAWBOURNE FROST (2) - Began a little awkwardly and settled back but made up some ground to finish in 4th place.
Race 6 Affordable Pet Accessories C0 - C0 - 457 THRILLING WILSON (6) - Was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. BIGTIME SWEETIE (8) - Slow to begin losing three lengths and then raced wide covering extra ground.
Race 7 Nancy Cobain Heats October 17th C1 - C1 - 457 KIRKHAM HARVEY (5) - Inconvenienced from the start and settled back. Was then forced to race wide throughout and finished well back.
Race 8 NZ Bred Middle Distance - C1 - 457 OPAWA TOP (1) - Crowded from the outside at the start, settled back and stayed there throughout. BELFAST BARRY (2) - Crowded from the outside at the start and settled back where he stayed throughout. OPAWA SPICE (3) - Crowded and unbalanced from the start and stayed back to finish in 6th place.
Race 9 Outback TradingCompany C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 TAMMY'S FIRE (4) - Was tightened between runners when the start was made and she lost four lengths and stayed back throughout to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 10 wheeldeal.co.nz - C3 - 457 The start was delayed by 3 minutes due to the very short gap (15 Mins ) between races 9 & 10. The all clear for payment of dividends was withheld for a short time while the Stewards reviewed video film as there were two ducks on the track ahead of the Starting boxes when the start was effected. However, it was clear that none of the runners were in any way affected when the ducks flew away prior to the fields arrival at that point of the track. BERNIE'S BOY (2) - slow to begin and lost three lengths. DOCKER (3) - Was checked going into the bend losing three lengths and stayed back for the remainder. NITEHAWK ROSE (6) - Was checked and unbalanced going into the bend losing six lengths and all chance.
Race 11 Prestons Master Butchers C4 - C4 - 457 CAWBOURNE GUNNA (1) - Was tightened adjacent to the rail going into the bend, went back to last and stayed there for the remainder. BOSTON LIGHTNING (3) - Was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going into the bend losing three lengths. Was then hampered losing momentum entering the final straight when checking over heels.
Race 12 use petraveller.com.au C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 SHEER MISS (2) - Went into the first turn awkwardly and shifted out. Was bumped and unbalanced approaching the home turn and went back several places. TIMMY TRUMPET (3) - Was forced wide losing ground going into the first turn and covered extra ground from there. CAWBOURNE BRICK (4) - Was crowded from the start and settled well back. LONESOME NITRO (8) - Slow to begin and stayed back throughout finishing in last place.
