The all clear for payment of dividends was withheld for a short time while the Stewards reviewed video film as there were two ducks on the track ahead of the Starting boxes when the start was effected. However, it was clear that none of the runners were in any way affected when the ducks flew away prior to the fields arrival at that point of the track. BERNIE'S BOY (2) - slow to begin and lost three lengths. DOCKER (3) - Was checked going into the bend losing three lengths and stayed back for the remainder. NITEHAWK ROSE (6) - Was checked and unbalanced going into the bend losing six lengths and all chance. |

BOSTON LIGHTNING (3) - Was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going into the bend losing three lengths. Was then hampered losing momentum entering the final straight when checking over heels. |
