Track: Good The track was presented in good order. The box lids failed to open for Race 9 due to a mechanical breakdown which required the services of an Engineer and a welding machine to carry out repairs. As a result of the breakdown, the Greyhounds had been removed from the boxes and returned to the kennels and the meeting was put back by two races for the balance of the program.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: An Inquiry was opened and adjourned into an allegation of foul language being used by a Licence Holder towards the Steward in Charge of the Kennels.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	NUI MAGIC (3) - Jostled and unbalanced going into the bend and lost three lengths and stayed back at the rear. BRILLIANT JAYLA (6) - Bumped at the start and settled back and stayed there to finish in 6th place.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 - C2 - 305	ADRENALIN KICK (3) - Checked going into the bend losing three lengths and stayed back to finish 7th. KIRKHAM KYLIE (5) - Jostled after the start and briefly unbalanced. SCOTT NO SHOW (6) - Jostled after the start and lost ground back into the tail end position and stayed there for the remainder. KA PAI (7) - Jostled and briefly unbalanced going into the bend and lost a length and stayed back.
Race 3	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C3 - C3 - 520	OPAWA SHAY (1) - Bumped and settled back from the start and stayed well back throughout. CHAI LATTE (2) - Bumped and settled back from the start and hampered again on the first bend and stayed back. LADY ZEENA (3) - Hampered and lost momentum on the first bend, never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 4	FIRST SECURITY C4 Ht1 - C4q - 305 Heat 1	HAPPY WIFE (3) - Tightened soon after the start and shuffled back but made up ground late. ROBINS ZARR HOOD (6) - Settled back and jostled going into the bend and never recovered the lost ground. CAWBOURNE ELPASO (8) - Slow away from the boxes but made up ground out wide to finish in 4th place.
Race 5	LASER PLUMBING C4 Ht2 - C4q - 305 Heat 2	ALLEGRO LASS (6) - Began awkwardly losing ground and stayed well back. UNO BRENT (7) - Began awkwardly losing ground but recovered to finish in 4th place. FALL FROM GRACE (8) - Forced to race wide throughout after starting from box 8 and finished last.
Race 6	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305	BOTANY WIN (3) - Settled at the rear but secured a clear rails run and raced through to finish 3rd. BIGTIME MOOLA (5) - Checked off heels into first turn and raced wide on the bend. Was handy into the bend but was jostled and lost three lengths and stayed well back. SMASH ALLEGRO (10/7)- Jostled and unbalanced going into the bend but recovered to finish in 4th place.
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	CAWBOURNE SERINA (5) - Slow away and settled back. Then raced wide into the first bend and stayed wide for the remainder and finished last. CAWBOURNE FOXY (6) - Slow away from the boxes and settled back. MAGIC LATTE (7) - Was bumped and slightly unbalanced going to the first turn and stayed back for the remainder.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C3 - C3 - 305	MALAKAI MAGIC (4) - Checked off heels going into the bend and shifted out to race wide. ALLEGRO CODY (6) Galloped on and checked going into the bend and stayed back. SPARE SOME TIME (8) - Forced wide into the bend but finished well for 3rd place. OPAWA LACHLAN (9/3) - Jostled and checked going into the bend and then raced very wide into the home straight over extra ground.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305	The start of this event was delayed by 57 minutes. ( Refer to the Judicial Section ) AIR EXPRESS (6) - Jostled when the start was made and unbalanced for a short distance and settled back and stayed there. CAWBOURNE BRAE (7) - Jostled when the start was made and was unbalanced for a short distance and stayed back to finish last.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CAWBOURNE BRICK (3) - Checked and inconvenienced briefly going into the first bend. KIRKHAM WEBBY (5) - Bumped and settled back from the start. Bumped again going into first bend and forced wide. CAWBOURNE CLOVER (6) - Bumped and settled back from the start and stayed there. ABSINTHE MINDED (7) - Jostled and inconvenienced going into the first bend. SHEER MISS (8) - Bumped and momentarily hampered going into the first bend but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BRITNEY STAR (2) - Shifted out going to the first corner and jostled other runners. AMERICANO (5) - Jostled for some distance going to the first corner and was inconvenienced and lost ground. BOX OF FLUFFIES (8) - Was slow away from the boxes and stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	STOLE ME WALLET (2) - Checked over heels going into the bend and lost momentum and two lengths. OPAWA BLAIR (6) - Checked over heels going into the bend and shifted out to race a little wide.
