Judicial report: Trainer P Lowen was fined $50 under Rule 68.6 for being late presenting SKINNY ANKLES (Race 7) for kennelling.

ROCK LASS, which had been stood down under Rule 68.21 at the Auckland GRC meeting on 28/08/16, was examined by the Veterinarian at today's meeting pursuant to Rule 81.5 and found not to be suffering any incapacitating injury with the stand down rescinded in accordance with Rule 81.6.

An inquiry was opened into an incident regarding the conduct of licensed person David Schofield. After hearing initial evidence from Steward W Robinson and Mr Schofield the matter was adjourned sine die.

Checked entering turn and then shifted out.. IDOL BUTCHER (3) - shifted in entering turn contacting STAINLESS KNOCKA and was then forced wide. CAWBOURNE SERINA (8) very slow to begin. Raced wide on turn.
Race 3	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C0 - 375	ONE ANNA HALF (3) - checked entering turn losing 3 lengths. Badly checked by fallen runner when at rear. MY FRIEND MIKE (6) - slow to begin. CAWBOURNE MUZZA (7) - checked for a stride rounding home turn. CAWBOURNE STICK (8) - clipped heels and fell early in run home. Referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 4	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C3 - 375	JESSE PINKMAN (4) - checked entering turn losing 3 lengths. Referred to Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality. LUCKY MAN (6) - contacted JESSIE PINKMAN entering turn losing some momentum.
Race 5	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C1 - 375	MALIGNED (2) - checked after start. LITTLE KIWI (5) - shifted in entering turn contacting OPAWA MERC (4) and lost some momentum. Checked rounding turn. BILL RUSH (7) - slow to jump.
Race 6	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1 - 457	AUGELLO (4) - slow to jump. Shifted out home turn losing ground when checking off heels. ESTEE (6) - contacted and turned sideways home turn. GOLFING BUDDY (8) - bumped and lost a length entering turn.
Race 7	Couplands Dog Biscuits Sprint - C2 - 375	OPAWA LIBBY (1) - tightened entering turn. CORUBA RAGE (2) - raced wide home turn. SCOT THE LOOKS (3) - checked after start losing 3 lengths. Checked rounding turn. SKYLER WHITE (8) - checked rounding turn losing its chance.
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE JAZZY (4) - shifted out approaching turn with heels contacted, losing some momentum. Checked entering turn.
